What a sendoff in pagosa springs this AM, 250 fans, pancake breakfast for all, amazing town. big climb today. heading to saguache, CO
couple locals riding out with us, town gave us helicopter to get some awesome aerial shots...but pancakes weighing me down - hope i make it

pulled over for a quick bite - have 50 mls ahead of us - tough ride so far- offically crossed Continental Divide - just climbed to 10,881 ft
can't say enough about pagosa springs...just got the final count from this morning's donations...they raised $ 2,500 dollars for MS.
left saguache, co this AM en route to Fairplay. Tough ride today - big mountains ahead of us. pretty beat right now. altitude is tough.
weather forecast is calling for 18 degrees and snow. got to ride hard today and hopefully get in before the storm really hits

300 locals at sendoff this AM, extremely cold outside,huge wind gusts - no real shoulder to ride on...here we come Denver
what was meant to be easier day turned bad with 18 degree weather and gail force winds forcing the bike to what felt like 45' angle all day
only got worse when a car pulled out in front of me on the hwy and i slammed into the side of it. all good though, just a bit sore
just got to Residence Inn, all warm and fuzzy in front of fire place. very relaxing. so glad that leg is over. off to dinner. tweet soon

what a morning. raining, 38 degrees, airstream broke down. an hour late leaving hotel, but scotty somehow fixed it and got us back on road
didn't expect many people at start with nasty conditions and with us being 2 hrs late, but over 200 people waiting for us when we pulled up
