Some viewers have winners already; as luck would have it, we got the NE-SEA game instead.
Both teams have their finish line clues.
Nick/Starr and Ken/Tina fret over the inability to hail a cab.
Ken tells a cabbie he'll pay $50 for the occupant to get out and surrender the cab. He's turned down!
Another cab approaches Ken/Tina.
Nick/Starr get one first.
Nick offers $70 if the cabbie gets them there first.
Ken prays in the cab, putting it "in your hands."
Ken: If I win, this'll be the last time I run in my entire life!
Two Cabs Approach Destiny and The Million Dollars.

Oooooh, the bathmat!
Oooooh, the teams!
Oooooh, Phil!

RUNNING TOWARD THE MAT, NICK AND STARR!

Phil: 23 days, 5 continents, 40,000 miles, Nick/Starr, you are the winners of The Amazing Race and $1,000,000!
Starr: Every team here is competitive! You guys all made it one hell of a Race.
(Teams look daggers at Starr.)
Nick conf: I loved the experience with my sister and watching her succeed!

Phil: Ken/Tina, you're officially team #2, congratulations! You ran a helluva race. You came on this Race to win and reconnect.
Ken: Some ups and downs, but she's the best.
Tina: Awwwww ...
Ken takes out their wedding rings.
Ken: You want to start this thing over again? We'll get it right this time!
They cry, hug, and kiss, as Anita/Arthur look on lovingly.
Tina conf: I try to hold on to the fact that Kenny's a wonderful person, and has wonderful qualities.
Ken conf: If we're gonna be married, we want it to be great. We're gonna make it Amazing.

Finally, the AEPi's cross the line.
Phil: Andrew/Dan, you are officially team #3. Did you thiink you'd be F3?
Dan: It's incredible, we ended the way we started, overcoming our mistakes.
Everybody laughs and claps.
Andrew conf: We thought we had no chance in hell. Before we knew it, we finished the course.
Dan conf: Frats can be proud of us.

Starr conf: Nick and I have a bond, work well together. So we were always together, always confident. We have a better relationship than we went into it with.

Backdrop, Portland.
Fade to black.
End credits, Season 13.

Well congrats to Nick & Starr, not much of a surprise (Yeah we are talking to you editors at CBS).  Seriously it's like Tyler & James all over again (though I loved that season).

And I am glad to see that they kept all the tasks to the area around the final destination city.  One change in the last two years that I do love.

And now to wait for the west coast (or other sources) so that I can watch it.

This is Peach under Ken's account. Ken of the race, you made me cry!!!

Peach of Ken's account, Ken of Ken's account, or Chateau, I am sure you are going to find out what the differential in finish time was for Nick/Starr vs. Ken/Tina and vs. Andrwe/Dan.

It is crystal clear that this was a 7 hour pitstop, a record low for any Amazing Race that I can think of. How do I know this? Because Chateau and I agreed on a time around 4pm for Nick/Starr and I heard it was about 3.5 hours later that Andrew/Dan checked into the leg 10 pitstop. So I am now chaging my estimate of Nick/Starr checkin time to 356pm. What you add the 7 hours, you get 10:56pm for the release time. Working backward, 228am release time for Andrew/Dan equates to 728pm checkin time and the surprising additional hour for Ken/Tina has 330am release equate to 830pm checkin time.

This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

O sages at TARCON XIII, could you please add one late question to the list for the Final 3:

Did the 4 clue received on release from the final Moscow pitstop specify going to Domosdedovo airport? If not, then how did you know to go there and not Sheremetyevo airport?

Dandrew was completely done in by the cab driver.  I don't know HOW a cabbie would end up going to Newberg via Hwy 219/Scholls - unless the doofus took Hwy 26 to Hillsboro and then south.  DEFINITELY the long way around!  I often took 219 from Tualatin/Sherwood to Hillsboro to avoid Hwy 26, and once we got routed off of 219 due to flooding on the way home from Thanksgiving dinner at mom's, and ended up a very-back-way to Newberg on Bell Rd, just as Dandrew did.)

I didn't know Tilikum Camp, but we were just wine tasting last weekend a mile or so from there at a new winery.  In the cabbie's defense (for only going 40 when Dandrew shouted to go faster), the speed limit through Newberg is only about 35 mph, and the highway between Lafayette and Newberg is a notorious speed trap.  Both my husband and myself have been stopped along there for speeding (and luckily we both got only warnings).

I really didn't think anybody would have to stress over a cabbie knowing "The Portland Building."  Interesting that they didn't show Portlandia, probably due to the copyright the artist has on showing the statue.

I am very impressed with how helpful and nice Portlanders came across.  For both couples to instantly find somebody who knew "the magic is in the hole" meant Voodoo Donuts is great.  My husband and I had Voodoo Donuts as a checkpoint on our Urban Challenge race 3-4 years ago.

Luckily, Voodoo Donuts is very close to a hotel with a taxi stand, which really helped!

I'm really happy the sibs won, but I wish the best to Ken and Tina as well.

LAst year had several irregular pit Stops, the shortest one for that season I believe was episode #6.  I believe its Pit Stop was between 4 to 6 hours.

Ok, back in RI from TARCon. Peach can fill in some blanks. But Tina told us of one scene in the finale that wasn't shown.

We do not have an official time diff from Nick & Starr or Ken & Tina as of yet.

We do know of the Russian package teams were supposed to give the Russian food vendor that they were supposed to bring from Moscow, but again, was not shown.

There's also other stuff we can tell you, but we save for later. I need sleep.

this is the first whole season i've watched on TAR, and i love it. Nick and Starr played the game really well, and i think they deserve being the team with the most wins in the history of TAR.

can anyone comment on this http://www.datelinehollywood.com/dateline_hollywood/2008/12/nick-and-starr-announce-engagement-after-winning-the-amazing-race.html
personally, i think its a bit dodgy, especially since pics from the TARCon show Nick's gf.
