A.D.

It's Bernie, Geoff, Vince, and Fuzzie turn to do the Roadblock. Henry, Tisha, Sam, and A.D. are waiting for their teammates.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
DETOUR 1 Play blackjack in a casino.

A.D. & Fuzzie and Ida & Tania chose this task.

Geoff & Tisha chose this task.

PITSTOP: A-Ma temple, Macau, China

Geoff & Tisha checked in at sunset. He still wears the Lion Dance outfit.

Sam & Vince should be safe in this leg because they got an early lead and know Chinese.

Looks like they're right outside the main gate, at the top of the staircase. (That black spot on the floor is the decoration used in the centre of Chinese ceremonial/ornamental stairways.)

Word of caution! The temple we're looking at is on Coloane Peak. There's a much more famous A-Ma Temple on the Macau Peninsula, outside the Maritime Museum - and that one's the oldest temple in Macau. This one's also known as the A-Ma Cultural Village.

I've been there
We need to take a shuttle bus up to the A-Ma Statue
From the Stone Plate CarPark To the A-Ma Culture Village CarPark
The Statue is located on the highest point in Macau

But even though this has been one tough race, it was great to see how much Tania and Ida showed how much they still wanted to stay in the race at the pit stop. When you've made it this far, you might as well go as far as you can go. And believe me...there's still quite a ways too!

Uh, what do we believe?  :duno:

IMHO, I reckon yes this is probably a pitstop because G/T are Filipinos and Pinoys are Catholics and in that country people clasp their hand as if in prayer to make a wishful thinking and influence the decision of the person they are asking the favor. So either they know they are the first one to arrive at the pitstop and they're saying "Yeah, give us the freebies, Allen." or they are the last team and they're saying"Please Allen don't eliminate us" But in the preview clip, Tisha is jumping with joy, so again it is either Allen saying "You're the last one to arrive, however this is a predetermined stage and you are still in the race, blah, blah, blah" or "Geoff and Tisha, you're the first team to arrive and each one of you will receive a 2 nights and 3 days stays at Bintan resort courtesy of blah ,blah , How do you two feel? getting good ha? from 3rd  now in first place blah, blah, blah" :jumpy: :wohoo: :umn:

Ida and Tania start ep.7 with a one to two hour deficit, so with the race going on to Macau by hydrofoil, there probably won't be any bunching opportunities. In that case, Ida/Tania being eliminated is expected. This will be a tragedy for ARA3, but I bet they give it their all against the setting of few chances to catch up.

But if the Macau Tower is the first task in Macau
They will be bunching there
Becoz in TAR11 That shows Macau Tower is open at 11:00
I/T start the leg around 7am Travel by Hydrofoil....... I think arrive Macau around 9am
Then takes 15 mins to Macau Tower
So they can catch up ......
But maybe they will be Eliminated becoz we still have the Detour and AT Task

As with the Auckland Sky Tower, there are different hours of operation for different purposes. The general hours for the Macau Tower are:

10am to 9pm

There is also the AJ Hackett Macau Tower Xtreme Sports portion which has hours of:

11am to 730pm Monday through Friday (and May 30 is a Friday)

Even so, that allows a small amount of bunching if Michael Mckay eleected to put Macau tower tasks first on arrival from the hydrofoil.

That is fabulous news for the trailing teams, particularly Ida/Tania. Also, they might get a bunching opportunity at the Hong Kong Airport. Best flights(see most recent Timeline) are to Singapore at 215pm (and teams need to get to HK Airport) and 415pm. A second and decisive bunching opportunity should happen at Singapore Airport when all teams will be able to get the SilkAir flight to Cochin if they got on one of the above flights to Singapore.

Ryaniez, if you read what I wrote in the 4th posting above, you will see that there is an excellent chance of a complete bunching at the Singapore airport which will also apply to the Cochin airport arrival. That means any of the 5 teams has an equal chance of being eliminated in Cochin.

Okay so we are in Cochin

Carry a fish or total speculation right now

Play with an elephant??

That scene ot Tania in front of the wall looks a LOT like it could be at this elephant sanctuary...

I think I may have seen that wall in the video! :hearts:

Kodanad
Located 45 Kms north east of Kochi, it is one of the largest elephant training centres of South India. Set on the southern banks of the Periyar river, Kodanad is known for the Elephant Kraal; i.e the place where the newly captured elephants are kept till they are properly trained and disciplined. The elephant training center and the Malayattoor St. Thomas Parish Church or Thazathe Palli lies on the opposite banks of Periyar river.

The trained elephants are available for rides for the tourists. There is a small zoo sheltering wild animals which are unfit for survival in the forest. It is open from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm on all days except Mondays.

According to my calculations, the arrival of teams is late evening on June 1. That means that tasks were on Monday June 2. Monday is the off-day to the public at Kodanad. How convenient (as Rosanne Roseannadanna would say).

Given how cheapskate AXN has been, the helicopter should be a Fast Forward, don't you think?

And of course, we already know that Geoff and Trish and our source were on  Cathay Pacific # CX739 which departed HK approx 11:20 AM on June 1, so any others will have to be after that.

Hello, I'm new here. Does that mean that Goeff and Tisha are really ahead from the other teams? That seems quite improbable because of the fact that Sam and Vince are just behind them?
