Peach, I guess it is appropriate to follow up your remarks with a paraphrase of the late Senator Everett Dirksen of Illinois:

A million here and a million there, and soon you're talking about real money!
Senator Dirksen might never have said it.
http://www.dirksencenter.org/print_emd_billionhere.htm

I could swear I saw an old video clip once where he did, but I guess not.  It's part of our culture, though, and I'll still probably repeat the quote.  Given the state of things today, We might have to change it to "trillion". :cmas18

TARAsia Fan,

When you are married to the head of the CBS network, do you care how the Asian Community views you? Julie's knowledge of how to take care of an important man and doing so very positively (when she's not off on assignments) has paid huge dividends for her. I think Julie wins too.

Did no one watch? Phil was great! He messed up on easy ones like the guy said chocolate and Phil couldn't get vanilla, and then he couldn't get oar and the clue seemed clear. His guy lost going for 100,000 but it was the contestants fault, he took to long to think of a word for sheets, honestly, I don't think anyone could have gotton sheets with the few clues he gave. The guy ended up with 25,000 so not bad in the end.
Julies guy ended up with 100,000. He stopped at 100,000.
They both did a good job.

That show was painful to watch. I stopped at 8:30 to switch to Sunday Night Football. It wasn't due to Phil, it was mostly due to Julie's strange facial contortions. She kept twisting her mouth or cheeks to a very scary expression. And Regis is also a bad host.

FLINT, Michigan -- University of Michigan-Flint student Chad Mosher sailed through his appearance on CBS' "Million Dollar Password."

He made the game look easy in the early rounds. Even Julie Chen of "Big Brother" could be seen saying, "wow," while watching Mosher fire off answers.

When playing for $1 million, Mosher cleared the first two rounds in a dramatic face off with Phil Keoghan of "The Amazing Race." The star collapsed to the floor after finishing the round that guaranteed Mosher $25,000 with just a moment to spare.

Mosher won the $50,000 amount easily, then put it on the line to play for $100,000 after getting some encouragement from the audience.

Mosher ultimately struggled with the word "sheets" when trying for $100,000. His clues included blanket and thin, but Keoghan couldn't come up with the answer.

Still, Mosher walked away with $25,000.

Mosher, a 2008 Kearsley graduate, is studying communications at UM-Flint, At the beginning of the show, Mosher said he'd like to win money to pay off his student loans.

In the end, Mosher won some cash and maybe some work experience: A lifelong game show aficionado, the teen told host Regis Philbin that he'd like to be a game show host himself someday.
