Keoghan talked to Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith and features reporter and weather anchor Dave Price about his plan to ride coast-to-coast to raise money for The Multiple Sclerosis Society. Quite impressive jobs.
Keoghan joins a movement taking hold around the country as M.S. Awareness week kicks off.

The Amazing Race host, Phil Keoghan, stopped by the SBC offices the day before he joined 34 other riders on a 660 mile ride from Morgan Hill, CA, to Las Vegas, NV. FIT Professor Scott Holz talked to him about how his BG FIT and new Toupe saddle have helped his riding comfort.

haha Phil is great, he and Bonnie def have chemistry.
They showed the opening scene the "go"
Phil had a huge STANDING applause when he came out , Phil was like wow!
Phil wants Bonnie to come on TAR and thought it would be fun to have her run a leg then he could eliminate her
They flirt, he didn't know if she wold want him back on after the for nighttime only talk they had last time he was on haha
He tells her the Globetrotters were at the Emmys
He talks about Zev's disorder
Talks about MS

, thanks Bonnie for having him on when he was riding across America
They talk about Phil's animate this and show the one where he was at the nudist colony haha
Then he tells Bonnie about his molded ass bowl and how he and his wife use it for a salad bowl when entertaining guests, well Bonnie loses it here

okay.......... Phil was on at least 10 minutes and if I were to upload it .. it would take, get this 5 hours plus

I think when he is on the road, as in with TAR 16, he very well could have deadline issues.

And I think filming in November is POSSIBLE. Note possible...not confirmed by any means. Just....possible.

Re the MS footage...he was puzzling over what to do with all that footage back right at the finish line. Was asking for ideas...web show? Documentary? Too good to waste...

I believe that when the TAR 16 appps first wsent live there was some boilerplate about applicants being aware rhat filmimg might be in the November-December timeframe. I personally suspect filmimg will be just before or just after TAR 15 finishes airing. But that also depends on how CBS is going to program the Vancouver Winter Olympics in February.

FROM THE INSIDE LOOKING OUT: "Amazing Race" host Phil Keoghan is not surprised his seven-time Emmy-honored show is now in its 15th season, and firmly expects it to remain on the air for years and years. And years.

He credits the program's longevity to the fact "We've never had a malignant element to our show." And he compares it to other series of its genre, which, he says, "have had ratings erosion because they've indulged in shock treatment. For instance, have a contestant eat the grossest thing you can imagine ... do stunts that humiliate someone so badly, the person is embarrassed to go out on the street."

He goes on, "For a while, reality shows seemed to specialize in who could come up with the most insane train wreck. By that, I mean if you drive by a train wreck, you slow down and look; but the next day, if you see the same sight, you don't slow down as much; and by the third day, well, you've become numb to it. "

He says an object of "Amazing Race" is to give the impression of danger, while the production team works overtime to be sure contestants are safe. The most dangerous moments, he notes, don't come when contestants are engaged in seemingly dangerous tricks, but when they're driving a car or are in a taxi -- and the production team has no control. When someone is driving recklessly, a member of the crew will call the person on it -- "and I'll give the contestant a penalty when they reach the mat."
