First show was not a disappointment!  I laughed a lot    Usually, I really get "into" the show towards the end of the season, but maybe this one will be different.

love how Nigel was vowing to be nice...that lasted not very long!! even Mary had a little bit of Dan and Nigel nastiness!!!

I taped the show but fell asleep watching so I will have to go back and watch the choreography part but all and all it was good!!! some really good talent...it'll be interesting to see what happens between the teacher/student ....and pretty neat to see Stanislav back with his sister...boy she can move a million times better than his partner last year!!! Guess great talent runs in the family.

I also loved last season. Benji and Travis were both great!!! So far, this season is showing great promise!!! I am really liking some of the talent I am seeing. I love all kinds of dancing, but there is just something about the break dancers and poppers that amazes me!!!  Probably because if I tried it, it really would be a 'break' dance!!!  :lol3:

More auditions, more amazing dancers!!! I especially loved the guy with scoliosis who did the robot. He was awesome!!! I wish they'd let him go to Las Vegas, even though there is no way he could do some of the other dances.

I also loved clogger guy!!!! I think it was Mary that told him to just stick to the clogging and not do the other stuff. But I bet he wouldn't have made it on his clogging alone, since they admitted they have never let a clogger through before!!!

I'm glad that they have been showing more of the good dancers and not the bad ones!!! But it seems like we have seen 2-3 times more females than males. After having guys win the first 2 seasons, what do you wanna bet that they are gonna do everything they can to help a female win!!!

I thought Benji's gig was only for 1 year anyway, although it would not surprise me to see her or Bette (although I like her, it has got to be a big drop-off going from Celine) or SOMEBODY hire him!!!

I'm not sure what Travis is doing, but I'm sure he is dancing somewhere!!!

I hope they don't rush through it like American Idol did the Hollywood round!!! There were people that they showed us making it out of the auditions, that we never saw again!!! Come'on guys ...... if you take the time to show us some talented people early on, then please take time to show us when/why they finally get cut!!!  (:;)

Just as I expected, they rushed us through Las Vegas. But what do you expect from the same people who bring us American Idol!!!

This is a very talented top 20!!! Maybe even more so than last year's stellar group!!! But last season gave us lots of chemistry between the men and the women!!! We shall see if this group can deliver.

I like this group, but they left out some mighty good dancers!!! I understand the need to get a good mix of different styles, but I hate that to be the main reason you don't pick someone. If it had been me, I would not have chosen Lacey (Benji's sister). She comes across as having too much of an attitude.

I thought last night’s show was great. I was worried that I wouldn’t like this top 20 compared to last season’s, but I was so wrong. It’s a good thing that so many of them were in the audience to remind me who they were again!!! I am a little bit disappointed that they did not show the contestant’s reactions to the pairings!!!

Jamie and Hok (Hip Hop) --- This should have been a slam dunk for Hok, but it wasn’t. In fairness to Hok though, the routine was a little bit underwhelming, so I think they might have dumbed it down a little for Jamie. However this team should be SAFE because of Hok’s popularity!!!

Anya and Danny (Jive) --- This dance was more suited for Anya, and she did very well. And to his credit, Danny also did very well on it. I loved the back split he did between her legs!!! I did not see the cockiness from Danny that I have seen, so that was a plus for me. Prediction: SAFE.

Kameron and Lacey (Contemporary) --- Again, this was a dance that played to Kameron’s strengths, and he did very well. I have to disagree with the judges, since I think he was much more than a ‘prop’ for Lacey. Lacey can give me the credit for her great performance, since she is trying to prove me wrong for wanting to hate her. I have to admit that she really gave great passion to this routine!!! She still needs to tone down the attitude after the routine. So far, this team seems to have the best chemistry. Another SAFE.

Sabra and D-Trix (Disco) --- This was the first routine that I didn’t much care for. They did not seem to have much chemistry together. Sabra did well for only dancing for four years, but there was just something off. This team could possibly be in trouble, but I think they will be SAFE because of D-Trix!!!

Ashlee and Ricky (Tango) --- I’m sorry, but this pairing looked awkward, because Ashlee is so much taller than Ricky. But I imagine she is taller than just about all the guys, except maybe Cedric. And for some reason, Ricky looked uncomfortable in his jacket. A little bit of trivia here, but did you know that Ashlee and future American Idol Season 7 winner Baylee Brown once won a dancing pairs competition together in Texas? Looks like my girl Baylee can do more than just sing!!! Anyway, I predict that this couple will be BOTTOM THREE!!!

Sara and Chuy (Pop Jazz) --- I loved this routine. Very, very entertaining, and best of the night for me!!! I had not liked Sara up to this point, mostly I suppose because of her being a B girl. But she did a superb job with this, and I commend her!!! Easily SAFE!!!]

Pasha and Jess (Waltz) --- Just like his original partner Anya, Pasha got a dance that was right in his element. And he did not disappoint with it!!! Like Nigel, Jess won me over the first day with her ‘baby oil’ routine. She did a good job on this dance following Pasha’s lead. Another SAFE team!!!

Fiana and Cedric (Hip Hop) --- Unfortunately for her, Fiana could not keep up with Cedric, who was in his strong suit. They seemed to be dancing individually, and their moves were not together. This team could very well be BOTTOM THREE!!!

Neil and Lauren (Salsa) --- Lauren is one of the early favorites, and looked good on this dance. I agreed with the judges assessment of Neil dancing too upright. He needed to get down and dirty. This team needed more chemistry. But I think they will be SAFE because of Lauren’s popularity.

Jimmy and Shauna (Broadway) --- I usually like Tice’s Broadway routines, but not this one. I thought Jimmy was OK, but did not like Shauna. They lacked chemistry, and could have done more with it. Sorry to say, they will be BOTTOM THREE!!!

Bottom Three Teams: Ashlee/Ricky, Fiana/Cedric, and Jimmy/ Shauna

I think Ashlee's long legs will help her in her solo. Fiana could follow her brother's lead from last season, and be the first one out. But I think instead that Shauna will be the one going home.

I like Ricky and hope he does well in his solo. Cedric does a cool Hip Hop, so he could be safe also. I predict that Jimmy will follow his partner out the door.

What a great recap that is exactly how I feel about the contestants.  I don't have a favorite yet but I think Fiana will go out of the girls and Ricky out of the boys.

I feel they all did better then the contestants from season 2

I was upset to see Ricky go....actually I thought he was great!!!

Jamie and Hok (Hip Hop) --- Hok danced it as best as he could...poor coregoraphy.  Jamie tried hard but you can tell it wasn't her style.

Anya and Danny (Jive) --- They both did great....I agree with Dan it seemed too easy...hope that doesn't hurt them

Kameron and Lacey (Contemporary) --- I didn't care for this actually Lacey just seems like she tries too hard...she was smiling at times of the dance...this isn't a dance to smile to!!

Sabra and D-Trix (Disco) --- I really enjoyed this routine...it was fun!! They are booth so tiny or is Cat that huge!! lol The lifts were crazy

Ashlee and Ricky (Tango) --- this was super painful to watch i fast forwarded it

Sara and Chuy (Pop Jazz) --- Anything Wade does I love!!! it reminded me of that awesome zombie ramalama routine from last year!!

Pasha and Jess (Waltz) --- Beautiful routine..normally waltz bores me but I watched the whole dance...very good!!

Fiana and Cedric (Hip Hop) --- I didn't care for this routine all that much..but I did feel that Fiana had the attitude just she wasn't flowing enough with him.

Neil and Lauren (Salsa) --- I think Lauren and Neil are great...but there isn't any chemistry...the dance sorta bored me even though they executed everything.

Jimmy and Shauna (Broadway) --- Really cute routine....Shauna looks like a COW in the costume...it make me think of last season's benji and donyelle's broadway (i think it was the same costume)

It was sad to see Cedric stay with NO formal training.  He danced his own style....I don't think he'll last much longer.

When I found out who the three bottom teams were, I figured it would be Sabra leaving. But she did great in her solo, while Ashlee didn't do that much. So I agree with the judges there.

But Ricky has been a star this season, and I thought did good in his solo. Although I like them all, I would probably have sent D-Trix home!!!
