I decided to do this more scientifically. All of the metro areas in my prior post are valid as being in the top 20 as ranked by the 2000 U.S. Census. However, I did miss a few that are significant:

Cleveland

If you want to go into the top 30, then you can add:

Indianapolis
San Antonio
Sorry, Peach, New Orleans is #35. Also, having used the New Orleans International Airport numerous times I can tell you that it has flights to Latin America but almost none nonstop to Europe or the Far East. Keep hanging out at the Atlanta airport since it's prime in my view.
