  Ahhh...the video makes things a lot clearer, puddin.  Could it be possible that the bamboo stick is being used as a giant lever to press the small white bundle?  Looks like they are pressing down on the bamboo.     :umn:

G-Man and Michael

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if its a TBC leg.

After all in the producers eye its just one leg.  So the penalty wouldn't bedelayed it would be at the Pit Stop.

We have also had proof that the producers have put a yield at the first ahlf of a TBC leg (even if no one yielded then).

If its done that way I have no problem, I have always thought teams should really have to prove that they should be in it.  So that idea actually makes it more interesting in my opinion.

Especially sine only two teams have managed to be in first at both end points of the TBC leg (Eric & Jeremy and Tyler & James).  So it can be done, you just have to really ge on your toes.

I wonder if Danielle well freak out about the jump, since she should be the one doing it (shouldn't bother Eric , he didn't seem to have any problem skydiving).

And Peach, yeah not only a height challange but jumping. :yess:  :jumpy:

It's not bamboo.

It looks like a steel pole with marked gradations along it.

But why O why ?   :umn:

And re glass floors--the CNN Tower in Toronto has one that totally freaked me out! I was absolutely determined that I could walk out on it with no problem--but my mind had other ideas and froze me in place! I finally did it by walking onto it backwards!  :rotf:

When I was in Japan my freinds (evil spawn of Hell) got me into a elevator that was outsidea building.  It freaked me the hell out.  My friends had to pull me by the hands out of the elevator at the end, I was so scared. (:;), but afterwards I rode twice by myself to help get over the fear.

Chateau!

Time shot for you! ;D

Note the clock on the wall, the scale, the table covered with ?saran wrap, the marked gradations on the bamboo/steel pole thingy, and the packet being squished?

And another watch on Eric shot!

They are making bamboo pole noodles! :wohoo:

Quote
Another name for zhusheng noodles is bamboo-pole noodles because their manufacturers use a two-metre-long, four-centimetre-wide bamboo pole to hit the dough to produce the noodles, which are made from flour, eggs and alkaline water. As it is hot in Guangdong, alkaline water prevents the noodles from going off. This water can also improve the flavour and texture. Some elderly people believe zhusheng noodles can help with excessive stomach acid as they contain alkaline water, that is why it is so important for the production of zhusheng noodles.

And the place I think, is okay. Doesn't need to be that clean. :rotf:

YAAY! hakushu8 to the rescue! I was tired of plaster!

Now is that something you knew already or something you found out--because I've been googling bamboo all day! ???

Great work! And thanks Slowhatch!

Okay then--(help me here Chateau or anyone)--when I super enlarge those pics--

I think Eric's watch says 5:30? and the clock on the wall for C/M says about 7:05?

 :jam:

I just happened to stumble upon the site when I used the keywords "macau bamboo pole" in Google, peach. It's the fourth link when I googled the keywords. My initial thought was that they were in a bakery, using the bamboo pole to operate that (I forgot the proper term) air blower you can use to give oxygen to burning coal.

Hey! New here.

Anyway, in regards to the TBC leg, I think that Sunday's episode will be the first part of a TBC.

Does anyone think that the confessional from DK about 'racing like they were in last place' could be before this leg actually begins, instead of after it? That could explain why they have the same clothes on. Even if it is from after the leg is over, it could still be a TBC leg. DK might not have had time to change clothes due to the fact that they had to keep racing.

A TBC leg would also explain the DO confessional in Guam. This Sunday's episode will be in Macau, next Sunday in Guam, where they are eliminated.

Welcome! I love your avatar :rotf:

Well, the thing about the confessional is that they don't usually sit the teams down to talk before a leg begins, the usually interview them BEFORE the leg while they are waiting for their check-out time so they can rip open their clue.

I'm guessing IF this was to be a TBC episode there would be a major bunching point (plane ride) and the racers would probably change their clothes because we have a confessional from O/D that hasn't been seen yet, which = Guam, and they are wearing different clothes then they are wearing in Macau.

Sorry if this post was conusing!

Those look like meat, puddin.

Oh, and peach, I guess that's the word. Thanks! ;D

:welcome2: Parasite©! :waves: Your avatar is awesome.

It could be before the leg, but no confessionals from HK with the teams being inside any curtained room have been shown so far. Unless the curtained room is in Guam, which is somehow unlikely because those are heavy curtains and the weather here won't agree with it. Although the teams were here in December, and it was definitely cooler than the weather right now. Summer months in the tropics...  :groan:
