Chateau you are amazing at how you can figure all this out!  Who am I kidding, you all are amazing with what you guys can uncover.

Chateau, regarding that shot of the BQ's, does this mean, that the location where the BQ's are is not the same location as the pit stop?  I've been assuming that is what but from what you have posted it looks like an entirely different area.

No, we think the pit stop is on a path by the Palace on the Water in Lazienki Park.  The shot of the BQ's is in the front of the Czapski Palace which is quite a bit to the noth of Lazienki  Park.  We see them jumping with joy.  Did they solve the tuning of the Piano or are they on the way to the Ostrogski Palace site of the Frederic Chopin Museum which holds the actual piano that Chopin used during the last two years of his life.

I've been concentrating on this videocap that Izad had in his website (photo courtesy of ADC from Sucks). I think it's the Pieskowa Skala, north of Krakow. The clock and the window below it looks very similar.

And from here:

Quote
Description : 40 minutes drive through a charming Prądnik River Valley, forming Ojców National Park among limestone hills and rocks of incredible shapes (e.g. Hercules Club) and caves.
According to a legend, one of them was a shelter of Polish King Władysław the Short , a refugee at that time.
Visit at Renaissance Castle in Pieskowa Skała, the most beautiful knights' castle in Poland. Founded in the 14th century, rebuilt in Renaissance style with beautiful Renaissance loggia and arcades in the courtyard.
Drive back to Kraków along the Eagles' Nests Track - a group of the 14th century strongholds (now in ruins) founded by Kazimierz the Great to protect the Silesian commercial route: Ojców, Rabsztyn, Olsztyn and the most beautiful one in Ogrodzieniec

The castle is part of the Ojcowski National Park.

Am I wrong or am I wrong?

Thanks, Michael.

Oh, and as per your question from Sucks, Guam has a tropical climate.  ;D

Just comparing a screencap from the preview and the other picture I got from TrekEarth. The structure I've pointed out, similar perhaps?

Wow!  Good job hakushu8!

Perhaps there is two legs in Poland.  Krakow is due South of Warsaw.  Perhaps there is a leg in Warsaw and one in Krakow?  Or maybe they go to Krakow and then go to Warsaw in one uber-leg or vice versa.

Fantastic job Hakekushu8!  Great find!

Now we know there are at least 2 areas involved--can we fit in the pretty salt mine on the way too?

BQ's seen just completing or heading towards the Detour between 1:05 and 1:27 pm

Puddin - I thought Chateu said that the BQ's were seen arriving/leaving the detour before 10:28AM

Nice work guys.  Here the time for that location:

This shot was taken here before 10:42 am.

Based upon the new info of the knight task being in Krakow and Phil's comment to C/M at a dark pit stop, that perhaps he is telling them that they are still racing and this is a 2 part leg which explains the 2 hour episode this week.

I don't think so, there wouldn't be a greeter with Phil if this wasn't an actual pitstop

Thanks Boingo!

So now we have Krakow (nearby sights include our Castle, the salt mines are only 15km (9miles) outside of Krakow , and Auschwitz is nearby too --would they go there?  :o...)

And Warsaw, so it looks like 2 legs in Poland for sure.

apskip--would the teams by any chance fly into Krakow and not into Warsaw??

Trying to figure out which comes first--we have a Pitstop with Greeter in Warsaw which suggests an Elim--but seems like they would do that second leg not first, which suggests Krakow as the first leg.

But silly for them to backtrack to Krakow so we need flight help please!

A quick Airwise check shows many many flights Amsterdam to Krakow leaving every hour or so all day--changing in Vienna, Paris, Munich, and Warsaw--takes about 4 hours or so depending on connection---so very easy to do flight wise....

This is what I was thinking.

And I don't know if there are any Jewish racers, but of course this would be a powerful stop for all (but given the 3rd Reich atrocities to those who were "different") but especially for our 2 gay couples.

And I really think C/M were saying "Are you kidding me...." because it was the TBC bathmat....which means they could (still) be in first place (or not). (greeter or no greeter)
