Not to mention that all of the other broadcast networks are not making any changes for that time slot, either.

TVLine.com is reporting
Quote
CBS will broadcast the 55th annual Grammy Awards, live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013.

Given how spring cycles of TAR have been scheduled lately, that would suggest cycle 22 could premiere the following week (February 17th 2013).

Didn't know where to post this, but the NFL has pushed back the start times of the late afternoon games by 10 minutes (CBS telecasts will start at 4:15 instead of 4:05 this season).

Redwings, that would only be true for markets airing only a late afternoon game on the east coast feed.

What applies in all instances is that the kickoffs will be at 4:25 pm ET/1:25 pm PT.

But yes, it virtually guarantees overruns whenever an east coast merket is airing a late afternoon game, singly or as part of a doubleheader. Guess I'll have to reprogram my DVR to record two hours for TAR now.

The NFL also changed regulations regarding blackouts. Now the team gets to decide whether or not they black out their game rather than being forced to if they didn't sell enough tickets. This could possibly lead to more games being shown overall. Also, if there are more games on at once they will all be ending at different times, possibly causing different start times for 60 minutes in different markets.
Physics alone is not enough.

Those who forget history are sure to repeat it.

Season 21 will premiere on Sunday, September 30th, at 8:00 pm ET..
http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2012/07/11/cbs-announces-2012-2013-premiere-dates-395400/20120711cbs01/
CBS announced the premiere schedule for all of its shows today. (CBS is premiering everything except the new season of Survivor during its premiere week, September 24th to the 30th' Survivor will premiere September 19th.

Speculation: Looks like we're going to likely have a "piggyback" of episodes somewhere this season, since a season of 12 consecutive weeks would end on December 16th (and CBS would not have a Survivor finale on December 23rd.) So I would suspect the possibility of a 2 hour December 9th finale.
