Their goal was more like survive at least one other leg, and they knew that if they U-Turned Leo & Jamal, those two were more than likely going to survive the U-Turn and then Chris & Bret had new enemies to worry about. So they figured that U-Turning the weakest team left, which, sorry to say for all their fans, was Rachel & Elissa, would've given the two of them more of a safety net in surviving that leg, especially since Bret isn't in a position where he can outrun one of the more athletic teams if it becomes a footrace for last place.

Fun fact, in the episode we get the impression that the first funicular leaves at 10:09 because that is what is shown on the big sign we are shown. That is actually the time the boat for Brienz departs. The next funicular departs 5 minutes later at 10:14. This doe snot really change anything but is an interesting detail.

Colin's COW was BROKEN!!

Not seen on the show:

Colin and Christie had to do the TASK TWICE and still triumphed.

After putting the headdress on the cow and leading it to the place....

Their cow BROKE FREE and DISAPPEARED into the forest with no hope of recapture. :cow

Colin's mild cussing occurred then.

They were forced to go back and start over.

Christie's zen cow choosing moment occurred HERE.

All the more impressive finish for C&C!!
