Queer Eye cast member Jai Rodriquez has confirmed rumors that the show may not return after this season ends.
Jai tells After Elton that the Fab Five “haven’t been asked back for 2007. Maybe this is how we are going out with a bang.” He’s referring to last night’s episode, which featured the makeover of a transgendered man. Of that, he says, “to be honest, I am shocked they let us do it.”
As to the future of the series, Jai notes that “everyone has big new projects. I’m working on a TV show and a movie in the fall.” When the cast moves on to “new projects,” that doesn’t bode well for their old project.
