Post by: chipscher on December 16, 2003, 04:06:05 PM: I think Rupert was too power hungry, and too boisterous. I think he could have gone further if he was a little more reserved. He had the girls in his pocket, but alienated the guys, the guys felt intimidated and threatened by him. If he came off a little less loud, he could have won.

He may not have been the best strategist, but sometimes I think all of the manupulating takes the fun out of the game. I am a fan of the first Survivor, when they all went in blind!

He went in there with a plan, not really knowing what the situation would be initially.

Post by: chipscher on December 18, 2003, 04:25:13 PM: Richard did have a plan, in his audition video he proclaimed with a doubt he would win. He used his experience as a corporate motivator to use the others to get himself the best spot and win. He knew exactly what he was doing, when he was going to do it, and how it was to be done.

I honestly thought Dr Sean would win S1, Jeff win S2, Lex win S3, Sarah win S4, Brian win S5, Matthew win S6, and Burton win S7. Everyone may say they thought Rupert would win, but I knew that the ones who have the most power tend to alienate the others, as was in Ruperts case.

He did change in the way he made his role, at first he just got them fish but he did not act to bossy or pushy, i think the power went to his head after a time though.

Post by: chipscher on December 20, 2003, 04:09:48 PM: Yea, at first he was like anyone else on teh tribe, but his power hungry attitude got him canned, plus the Morgans were suspicious, yet at teh end he said he never should have been so loyal to Drake, and should have stayed on teh Morgan side of the fence where he was more appreciated.
