Well, maybe there is a way around that. But when I tried to do a review it asked for my ipod ID. There was a link for "no id" or something like that and it took me to a screen with the various ways to pay for an ipod subscription. I will look at that one more time just to make sure.

Where in the itunes library is the "link" or whatever to click on so I can do a review. I didn't see it, but I may be looking in the wrong place.
The iPod ID is something that it asks for when you want to buy something, etc. You know, just to make sure. So I probably can do a review...at least I hope

I tried again and I can't seem to write a review without signing up for an account, and when I try to sign up they want my credit card number.

Do you suppose I can put in two reviews with two different names? If so, I'll put mine in and then yours.
I haven't put my review in yet cause I thrown back by something. Last night I entered the code for a new $15 gift card. My hubby helped me as he read the number while I typed it in. Once done we saw it had been added. Great right? Tonight I open the link /itunes store to do review and it said I DIDN'T have the money I just added. It disappeared...I was like :umn: After checking my order history, etc which showed it was end of April, all of a sudden the money is back. I'm :jumpy: but still ??? :lol:
Okay, back to subject at hand. What do you think Jeffrey?

On the itunes page there is a link that says "write a review". When I click on that it asks for my Apple ID or AOL password. Since I don't have a Apple Id I click on 'Create Account". I click on to agree the service agreement, fill in my email and choose a password and then when I hit continue it asks for my credit card info.
How do you write a review?

You have to put in a credit card, but they do NOT charge it. They don't charge it until you go to buy a song or something.
Can anyone confirm that I am right?? LOL

They want to make sure you don't make 100 accounts and make 100 reviews of thier podcast, so they want to make sure they have a credit card, Its also kind of a age check as well. AND if you ever go buy anything, they already have your info. Easy for them, huh?

I believe you are right on this Rob. I can't remember if I gave my credit card info. Since I have an ipod and have used the itunes cards, that may have been sufficient for them. If I CAN find out, I'll let you know.
BTW, I did a review...gave it 2 stars. JUST KIDDING!! :lol3: Seriously I gave it 5 stars of course. It said it wouldn't show up right away. Something about checking to see that it checked out with all of the requirements. You know, no offensive language, etc. I guess once they do, they will post it. So when I see it I'll let you know. I tried posting under the name RJ, but that was already taken. After trying a few other names, I just went with .R.J. and that took. So just watch for it. I'm not a writer so I hope it sounds good enough. :js:

I'm already logged in when I get on my itunes. Then I just click "write a review" and it just lets me write it. But that could just be because I already have an itunes account..Hm..I don't know. Good luck with it though. I hope you figure it out.

I was just browsing itunes and RJ, your review is up, but you have to click on the "most recent" reviews. And mine is up as well, also a different user posted a 5 star review as well. So Rob and Trevor, you just got 3, 5 star votes. Congrats.

I clicked on "most recent" just now and it says there's an error....that the music store is temporarily unavailable and to try later. But when I go into the music store it's fine. So I don't understand what's going on. :umn:

I just tried again, but it still won't work for me. The strange thing is I'm able to browse the music store. But then I go to the cusomer reviews and click on "most recent"...it's then that it gives me that message.
Very wierd ???
