PREVIOUSLY ON THE AMAZING RACE:
Phil voice: Previously, 11 teams of 2 set out from Colorado's Red Rock Amphitheater, to Sao Paolo, Brazil. BJ/Tyler and Eric/Jeremy surged ahead. Fran/Barry kept walking by a cluebox. Jon/Scott bickered and had trouble talking w/the locals. Danielle/Dani trouble building a motorcycle, while locals cheered on Ray/Yolanda. (Oh! The LOOK again!) Lake rose to the task. Fran/Barry switched Detours.
In the end, Eric/Jeremy 1st, and while sisters Lisa/Joni lagged, Jon/Scott were stuck in traffic and got eliminated.
Ten teams remain. Who will be eliminated next

Phil: This is Sao Paolo, the largest city in the southern hemisphere. Soccer, the world's most popular sport. This stadium was the first pitstop in a race around the world.

Eric/Jeremy, 5:34 am, CLUE: Make your way to Edificio Copan.
Phil: They must enter "Bloco F" for their next clue.
Eric/Jeremy have a sex-talk-filled confessional.
BJ/Tyler, 5:36 am, CLUE.
Conf: THey're friends with Eric/Jeremy.
Another "rapido!" followed by a "Vamos!"
Wanda/Desiree, 5:45 am.
Dave/Lori, 5:49 am.
Lori's the .. ?? Hottie boom body with the naughty Pilate ??
Four leading teams pull up at the building in close sequence.
No esta' abierto hasta las 8 am.
Lake/Michelle leave at daybreak.
Joseph/Monica, 6:13 am.
Both teams pull up to the Copan about the same time.
They find out the equalizer is in effect.
Ray/Yolanda, 7th place.
Ray: It's like a marathon, it's about how you finish at the end.
Fran/Barry leave 7:06 am.
Fran's a cancer survivor, proving she's in good shape.
Danielle/Dani, 7:19 am. Another "rapido!"
Lisa/Joni, 7:28am.
All 10 teams make it to the Copan before Bloco F opens.
It's 8, all teams headed for the clue box.
CLUE: ROADBLOCK.
Who's ready for a fire drill?
Phil: One member must climb one of three fire escapes, put on a harness, rapell 400 feet to the bottom. The order in which they arrive at the top of the fire escapes determines the order in which they'll descend

Bugs before Waterfalls !!!!!!

All ten team's members are running up stairs.
Some quit running and start walking.
Eric/Jeremy just want to get in somebody's pants.
Desiree and Danielle quit running and start schlepping.
Jeremy, 1st up, is 1st to descend.
Lake, 2nd up to the top on roof #2, must wait.
BJ, first at roof #3.
Eric/Jeremy, CLUE: Make your way to Barafunda Bus station, get a ticket. Buses leave at 10:15, 11:15, 12:15 pm.
They'll travel 150 miles to Brotas, Brazil, and choose a VW for their next clue.

Last to the top of Roof 1, Fran.
After descending, BJ/Tyler, Joseph/Monica leave.
Lake descends in 4th.
Ray descends in 5th.
Dave and Desiree descend at the same time.
Dave finishes in 6th.
Standing with Fran, Danielle is getting seasick standing there waiting for the other teams to descend.
Desiree finishes 7th.
Danielle: I can't do it! I can't! I'll have a heart attack! I don't even know why I'm here!

Cheered by Lisa, Joni makes it down in 9th.
Fran comes down slowly, but surely, in 10th.
Lisa/Joni still looking for a taxi.
BJ/Tyler reach the bus station.
Eric/Jeremy arrive.
Ray/Yolanda close behind.
Terminal Turistico. (misprounounced by the frat boys)
Joseph/Monica.
They all get 10:15 except Ray/Yolanda, who get 11:15.
Dave/Lori and Wanda/Desiree make it there together.
Both get 11:15 tickets.
Danielle/Dani get 12:15.
They share pleasantries w/Eric/Jeremy (and take off clothes to show boobery)
Lake/Michelle, Lisa/Joni, Fran/Barry. 12:15.

BJ/Tyler, CLUE: DETOUR.
Press it, or climb it?
Phil: Press it, teams travel to a plantation, where they must process sugar cane into juice, then distill 500 millileters of ethanol. They must pour the ethanol into their car before driving to the next destination. Could take time.
Climb it, hike to the waterfall, use mechanical ascenders to get both team members to the top. Extremely physical task, but could finish fast with the ascenders.

The lead 3 teams take on the waterfall.
Both team members must climb on the same line.
More "rapido!" for us to scoff at.
Atop the waterfall first, BJ/Tyler and Joseph/Monica.
Second bus arrives, teams choose DETOUR options.
Dave: I totally did that (press) experiment in school.
CLUE, BJ/Tyler: Primavera de Serra.
Phil: Teams must search for this 19th century coffee plantation is the pitstop. Last team to check in may be eliminated.

Joseph/Monica, CLUE in 2nd place, head off in their VWs.
Eric/Jeremy not having fun with the ascenders, but Jeremy makes up for Eric's lost time and they finish 3rd.
Dave/Lori head for the sugar plantation.
Wanda/Desiree also head for the plantation.
The final bus arrives.
All will do the waterfall except Lisa/Joni, who will press it if they ever get there in the stick shift car; they can't drive.

He gives them directions and they see nothing but open road.

Eric/Jeremy continue the lustfest as they drive along looking for the Primavera. Finally a woman in a store shows them, on a map.
Sugar cane plantation, Dave/Lori love it ...
Ray/Yolanda run thru the jungle toward the waterfall.
Wanda/Desiree passed up their turn, and are driving down a dirt road in the middle of nowhere.
Ray flexes biceps and makes it toward the top of the waterfall.
Meanwhile, Lori: We're makin' moonshine!
Dave: The spirit of Mr. Wizard is with us!
Ray and his flexed guns arrive at the top to cheer Yolanda up.
Dave/Lori finish making ethanol in 4th, and get the PITSTOP clue.
Ray welcomes Yolanda to the top, in 5th.
Wanda/Desiree weren't all that lost, because they'r enow making ethanol.

Phil: Eric/Jeremy, you're team #2. You seem to think about the opposite sex alot.
Both: It's what we do!
Phil: Joseph/Monica, you're team #3.
Fran heads up the hill toward the waterfall.
Fran sstarts to climb.
Lake urges Michelle on.
Michelle passes Fran.
Fran: Oh, God! I'm not getting it.
Fran twists in the wind, halfway up the waterfall.

Driving down the road, then finding the path to the waterfall, Danielle/Dani.
Barry is getting stuck.
Danielle passes him.
Barry sticks it out and ascends.
Danielle beats him, but Fran/Barry leave in 8th as Dani starts.

Fran puts it in neutral as Barry pushes.
Danielle/Dani pass 'em.

Fran: What a way to get eliminated.
Lisa/Joni finish with the ethanol in 10th.
Lake/Michelle get an escort because they're lost.
Phil: If a car breaks down through no fault of the team, a replacement car is given, but no time credit for this unlucky situation.
Fran: I don't want to go home today! But I've done my best and so have you.
Lake/Michelle see Danielle/Dani slightly ahead of them on the road.
Both cars haul ass down the bumpy dirt road.
