MSNBC just reported Paradise Island, Bahamas as the location. Atlantis!!!
-
I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but that's the place that Amber and Rob won a trip to when they won the second leg in Santiago, Chile.

I betcha, wonder if CBS or Travelocity is picking up the tab. I saw the reporter by the resort, and just caught part of it. Something about the bachelor party goers, coming down to the beach and something about how he wasn't supposed to say anything about it. LOL
then he said, "you heard it here first!"

Upcoming nuptials kept hush by network
Scott Tady - Times Entertainment Writer

Amber Brkich and Rob Mariano will tie the knot Saturday.
The "Survivor" sweeties are set to say "I do" in a wedding ceremony in the Bahamas.
CBS will tape the ceremony for broadcast on May 24.
CBS is carefully guarding details of the wedding. As required by the network, Brkich and her Brighton Township family have refused to comment on wedding details.
And wedding guests have been required to sign confidentiality contracts, promising not to divulge any secrets.
But it's hard to keep a secret in a community as small as Beaver County, especially when local residents reportedly spotted a CBS camera crew at Brkich's wedding shower March 5 at Seven Oaks Country Club in Ohioville, and while gown-gazing at Skye's the Limit bridal shop in Rochester.
Through people acquainted with wedding guests, The Times has learned that much of the wedding party left Wednesday for the Bahamas. Reportedly bridesmaids will wear teal. In a prior CBS interview, Brkich revealed she wanted males at the wedding to wear summery white linen.
The TV couple certainly has honeymoon options, having won trips to London and the French Riviera on the current season of CBS's "The Amazing Race."
Brkich, 26, and Mariano, 29, already have acquired a home near Pensacola, Fla., where Mariano's family has real estate.

<[/this is so cool!! I am excited about seeing the wedding!! }^! (sorry, rob!!) ]*[

uh huh!
Rob

After that will they go away (finally!) or will they aim for TLC's A Baby Story next?
-
I am sure that will not be the end of it...but Glad they are happy

I'm guessing more like "Diary of an Affair". I may be cynic, but I just don't see them lasting. One of these days, Amber is going to actually have an idea, and Rob won't like that much.
But like I said, that's just me being cynic, I'm sure. I don't plan to watch the wedding. I am disgusted with Rob, and sick of seeing him.

I agree I am tired of them both. And to sign a confidentiality agreement. Please. |(, It's not like they are Huge movie stars.

Amazing-ly, Rob & Amber thought wedding was secret
By Gayle Fee and Laura Raposa
Tuesday, April 19, 2005 - Updated: 02:45 AM EST
Even the cunning wiles ``Boston'' Rob Mariano has honed on ``Survivor'' and ``The Amazing Race'' couldn't keep his weekend wedding under wraps from the Track!
Oh, it was supposed to be an ever-so-stealthy scene at sundown on Saturday when the Canton homey and his reality-TV honey, Amber Brkich, tied the knot on the beach in the Bahamas in front of family, friends and a film crew from CBS.
The toothsome TV twosome did the deed behind the Royal Towers at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island ``under a beautiful arch made of seashells,'' reports one of our sand spies.
Now, if memory serves, didn't the reviled reality honeys win a trip to the Atlantis last month on the ``Amazing Race'' after the groom greased the palms of a bus driver securing his and his fiancee's first-place finish? If so, does the Amazing wedding at the resort count as the free trip???? Hmmmm.
Anyway, hundreds of Rob and Amber's nearest and dearest beat feet for the sunny Bahamas for the nups, even though CBS paid the freight only for the bridal party and the couple's immediate families.
All had to sign release forms since ``Survivor'' sultan Mark Burnett's camera crew planned to film festivities to air during May sweeps.
But don't think for one minute that the happy couple's rels and pals were obsessed by their role in the TV wedding. We hear the Hub horde's No. 1 topic of conversation in the casino the other night was about despised Yankees cornerman Alex Rodriguez saving a Vineyard youth from being run down by a speeding truck!
``The consensus of opinion was that his agent probably hired the kid and his mother,'' said one of our table spies. ``What a bunch of cynics you Beantowners are.''
Which reminds us: Who wants in on the Rob and Amber Divorce Pool?

Gah, it took *two* people to write that? For non-New Englanders, The Boston Herald is the equivalent of the New York Post (or maybe National Enquirer), suitable for lining bird cages, wrapping fish, and generally substituting for toiler paper.
-
They write a gossip column that appears daily (I think) in the Herald, so it's not so much written by two people as it is gathered by two people. It's called "The Inside Track".
-
What I find funny is that the location of the wedding was suppose to be so Hush Hush ((^ , I found about 3 more articles on the secret wedding but they pretty much say the same thing B:) B:) B:) .

NEW YORK (AP) -- They fell in love on TV, and their nuptials will be shown on TV.
A two-hour prime-time special on the wedding of Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich, who were cast members on CBS' "Survivor All-Stars," will air May 24 (9 p.m. ET), the network announced Tuesday.
"Rob and Amber Get Married" will document the planning, the bachelor and bachelorette parties, and the wedding ceremony, which was held Saturday in the Bahamas.
Mariano proposed to Brkich on the live finale of "Survivor All-Stars" in May 2004. Since she wore a shirt proclaiming, "I (heart) Rob," the answer wasn't in much doubt.
She beat Mariano by just one vote to win the reality show's $1 million prize, but told The Associated Press afterward: "We didn't even care who was going to win. We knew we both had each other for the rest of lives."
"Boston Rob" Mariano earlier appeared on "Survivor: Marquesas." Brkich was first a castaway on "Survivor: The Australian Outback." They are now contestants on the seventh season of CBS' "The Amazing Race."
