{[ I was watching AI and the Guy I was all set to vote for in the top 12 sang great (Sean from Plymoth Mass---The Youth Pastor) was booted and the 3 guys who did not sound all that great and not on of them remembered all the words made it through..I was sooooooo mad I wanted to turn it off, of course I didn't because I am addicted but still I was pissed _-^

It is supposed to start being on at 9 pm on every wensday...I was watching the news this morning and the news people were complaining about it and the entertainment guy said "Whats next 7th heven will be on at 11 pm" I was laughing soooo hard

Hey puddin ...... just do what I did!
At 8pm, I watched Lost, and recorded Smallville to watch later. And at 9pm, I watch American Idol, and recorded Alias to watch later.

but im not organized..my tapes are not labeled {l{ I think I have 24 hours of stuff to watch yet ^/^

Puddin, you're badly in need of a DVR(Digital Video Recorder). You can tape 2 shows at once with one of them. <[/

Here is what I have found that works for me.
My family and I have about 6-10 must watch shows per week, according to what reality shows are in season, and whether or not our favorite other shows are showing re-runs or not.
I have a tape dedicated to each show, and have it labled. When that show comes on, I pop in that tape and set the recorder. Then later, when I want to watch a particular show that I missed, I know which tape it is on!
There are certain shows that I never tape over, like Survivor and TAR. When that tape gets full, I just start a new one, and lable it Part 2!

I used to miss all kinds of shows all the time but my hubby talked me into Dish network (Did you know they have a channel devoted just to reality TV?) and they Have DVR so since then I have not missed one show I can watch one show and record another....

{l{ Lucky you ... I'm in the middle of trying to get my boyfriend to spring for digital cable .. the problem is the box / converter is only good for one TV ..we would br fighting over it all the time ^/^

with Dish Network as long as to 2 TV's are semi close to each other you can use one box for two TV's

That's me too, puddin! Have a zillion hours of taped shows. I do as Tanny does...tape while watching another. Right now, I'm backlogged 3 Alias shows!! And I dont' dare watch the latest one. I must watch 3 weeks back first! But I label my tapes *usually* *(^ Oh to be organized! ]][ Someday.

Thanks tanbuns for your great suggestion on taping a particular show. I label my tapes, monday, tuesday, and so on. But my problem is I might put a sunday l tape in on wednesday and then I get all mixed up and either forget which tape it is on or I tape over. But I think for Lost and Alias I will devote a special tape. I wasn't too impressed with the LOST episode that just happened. I found the Charlie flashbacks boring and skipped most of them so I am looking forward to next week's show.
Back on the topic of American Idol. What part are they one now? I decided this year not to watch all the prelim stuff and just watch when they get to the 12 finalists. When is that happening? Anyone have a favourite at all?

I watch all the shows and I might record them because another show is on at the same time, but I watch it later that night......Back to AI I did have a fave. but he went home for now good reason and they kept 3 stinkers (see first post in this thread).....I think they are narrowing it down to 24 this week so the final 12 should be comming up soon

What the heck is so great about AI???? *(^ Seems to me STAR SEARCH beats AI all to pieces for true talent, great judges and overall...just a topnotch talent search show. I wonder if Star Search will ever come back?? Anyone know??

I hope Mario and Anwar make it from the guys, but they are all really good!
I don't like the ladies nearly as much, and the ONLY ones I think are very good are Vonzell, Carrie, and Amanda!

I think the guys are MUCH better than the girls this time. Right now my favs are Bo, Anwar and Anthony. Carrie is the only girl I've been consistently impressed with...let's see if some change my mind tonight.

After watching the girls again last night, here is my updated opinion......
Janay needs to go ...... NOW!!! She has been the worst singer of the bunch for 2-3 weeks now! |(
I love Mikalah's personality, but she is not a very good singer! She would be much better persuing a career in acting!!! }}
My top three are still Carrie, Vonzell and Amanda, but I thought Nadia and Jessica sounded the best last night!!! =]/

I thought Vonzell, Jessica, and Nadia were the best last night. I didn't care for Carrie's performance, but still think she has a beautiful voice. Can't wait to see who the final 12 are tonight.
