Because we know we're gunna need this! :funny:
-
Still no sightings.
-
Might not have started yet. We know they normally run their first leg in Israel, so there'd be scarce sightings there.
When Amazing Race sightings start popping up that aren't in Canada, it's probably them. I'm worried about if US 36 and Finland's inaugural season decide to start in the near future. Then we'll be really confused, lol
-
A particularly nightmarish scenario would be all the above filming at the same time as the Aussie Celebrity Edition.
-
So happy that we're back and that we're starting with Iceland. :woohoo:
-
Finally! Filming is underway on a version that we know races around the world! :funny:
So happy that we get to see Iceland! The two US visits were amazing and I'm sure Israel is going to do this wonderful country justice!
-
The Israelis have a trio of high bars to clear as raised by the Season 6/30/34 visits.
-
Will they visit Húsavík? And will they have "Play 'Jaja Ding Dong'!"-guy as a pit stop-greeter?
-
Having proud Spanish ancestry (my great-grandmother emigrated from Madrid back in the 40's), I'm super excited and pumped that they're heading to Malaga again! However, I do hope that they're not coping the exact same locations and tasks from Season 34. That would be pretty poor (and lazy!) from the producers!
-
I remember they copied a couple tasks last season, in the Netherlands they did the ditch vault and finding the small clue in a room full of clogs. But HaMerotz has their knack for coming up with better tasks than the Americans!

At least they chose one of the better tasks.

Instead of taking the opportunity to debut Portugal a.k.a. the continent's best used nation besides Denmark, hM9 instead gets stuck with Europe's worst country...again!

I'll take the time to respectively disagree - Spain is always welcome in my book!
-
^
Eh, Andalusia looks too similar to Tangier when they should've gone to Basque Country instead.
-
Now we found out that they've been to Morocco! Tangier in fact! Good to see a new country debuted on HaMerotz LaMillion!
-
edit: nvm
-
In terms of Subsaharan destinations overdue for a visit, Mozambique > this lame retread.

In terms of Subsaharan destinations overdue for a visit, Mozambique > this lame retread.
What’s lame about Victoria Falls? It’s one of the most amazing places on the planet!
-
The Israelis visited it as recently as haMerotz 7 less than a half-decade ago; they should've gone somewhere fresher like Gorongosa National Park for a non-Anglophone safari leg followed by Maputo.
-
Ahhh Zambia! Victoria Falls is a beautiful location, but maybe it's now becoming an overused location, considering it's now been used in TAR US (x2), TAR Australia & HaMerotz LaMillion (x2)...
-
After TAR27 did the Zambia/Zimbabwe straddling leg at Victoria Falls, Israel and Australia both followed suit within the next couple years. So as a TAR destination, it already feels kinda milked for that reason. Hoping they went somewhere else if that's where they are.
-
The ruins of Great Zimbabwe would've been far superior paired with an urban leg in either Harare or Bulawayo.
-
Okay guys.
Can we please stay on topic yet TRY to be at least somewhat happy with what we are getting?
I would like us to focus on the POSITIVE (like omg we have another season = JOY!)And quit with all the bitching.
Peach needs joy and happiness not whining pretty please.
Last B/M/S I think. :groan: :idgit :groan:

I thought this thread was specifically so people can Bitch as much as they want without cluttering the other threads? 🤔

That's the theory, not that it doesn't stop some from 'cluttering the other threads'. But it's also a squeal thread, and that tends to be forgotten among the 'bitch and moan' on here sometimes.
Sounds like an excellent route to me - Israel, Iceland, Spain, Morocco and Zambia - very cool!

Definitely better than the route TARCan 9 has :funny:

Yeah. I just hit my quoto on bitching for the day! lol
Throw a lady a smile here and there please!
:2hearts: :luvya: :2hearts:

After looking at Yehuda’s instagram, are we even sure that Victoria Falls is confirmed? For all we know they could have done a safari leg.
Something worth noting is that as often as it’s been visited, no season has actually been to Lusaka, the capital city. Maybe they could be the first!
-
Love everything am seeing
-
Who knows, they could surprise us with a Harare/Lusaka/Maputo leg, or possibly even a different country
-
Yay, Austria! A new state the US hasn't been to.
-
Better than (German-speaking) Switzerland at least.
-
Now Austria is a destination I can "squeal" about! Well done HaMerotz LaMillion on showing us how a franchise-first visit to a place should be done!
-
Loving THE route
-
I feel the route is very TAR30 atm
-
Yay, Austria! A new state the US hasn't been to.
Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but the American version has been to Austria numerous times?

Yes, but not this part. Most of their visits have been around Vienna or Salzburg.
-

Agreed, so the remaining countries visited should be ones such as Oman and Laos.
-
If this new sighting in Gangnam is them, this route's really looking like a mashup of modern US legs (except the 29 racers just had to find the place. Knowing HaMerotz's style of tasks, they probably had to dress like Psy and do the dance lol)
But South Korea is a nice choice. Hopefully they're circumnavigating!
-
Beautiful Route!! Iceland, Spain, Morocco, Austria, South Korea with a potential Bulgaria in the mix.
-
Seoul is us.

Lmao Mike is a fairly popular TikToker on Film/TVTok. That's crazy seeing my two words crossover like that. What a small world we live in.
-
South Korea always provides with some good legs. Here's hoping HaMerotz LaMillion's second visit continues to impress us!
-
Busan and/or Jeju would've been superior, but anything to ride the Wave in any case.
-
Vietnam? This route just keeps getting better <3
Shame it won't be in English because this is the kind of route we've all been craving since 2019. I don't have high hopes on TAR36's until we see it.
-
Does anyone know if the Vietnamese government gives out film and/or travel subsidies?
It seems as if nearly every iteration of TAR has filmed there multiple times in the past several years. It's all but replaced Thailand as the go-to SEA country, with franchises planning for return visits despite seasons being filmed once per year (or even less often)
Since 2015:
TAR 29, 31, and the original 33
HaMerotz 5 and now 9
Australia 4 (after visiting in the inaugural season)
Canada 4
-
Is there a master list of all the locations so far?
-
Is there a master list of all the locations so far?
Reykjavik, Iceland
Malaga, Spain
Tangier, Morocco
Baku, Azerbaijan
Hohe Tauern National Park, Austria
Seoul, South Korea
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Queenstown, New Zealand
There’s also the possibility of Sofia, Bulgaria.
-
Final 5 looks like 1 MM team, 1 FF team and 3 MF. Guessing most of these teams left were last sighted in Morocco
-
Vietnam! Another country that provides awesome legs and awesome entertainment!
This is turning out to be an awesome route!
-
New Zealand, wow :ghug: ..I love this route :woohoo: hopefully the links won't change ,now that the network changed
-
New Zealand! An underused country on the US version, not so much on the Israeli version!
Queenstown is one of the best cities in the world! Hopefully they have an awesome, adventure-packed leg (it isn't called the adventure capital of the world for nothing!)
This would have to be the last country before the finale in Israel right?
-

We’re in the endgame now. Poetic to end in Queenstown. Glad there won’t be much overlap with Australia. Helps that they are on different continents. Even with the change in networks, 12 might conduct the finales similar where the teams find out the results after the show premieres to prevent spoilers.
-
Here's hoping that the Bulgaria visit was real because without it, this route will be even lamer than haMerotz8's.
-
I don't consider the last route that lame. Every country except the Netherlands was doubled up, yes, but 7 and 8 were like one mega-route split in two seasons, filmed back-to-back. It looks much better in that context.
-
^
It's moreso the fact that they failed to debut Luxembourg in lieu of the Dutch leg, a letdown after haMerotz7's Nepal episodes.
-
So they went to Azerbaijan! This is a nice surprise :D
-
I love this route! One of my "Dream Routes" actually came into reality.
-
For a post-COVID first production route, this turned out well. Love that we’re seeing Azerbaijan again.
-

Will you guys never be happy with any destination?
-
^
Heh, even TARAUS6 under Channel Ten managed to visit Belize - albeit the Israelis had and still have a superior track-record for routing overall.

Nope. Only the route they want, but only the tasks they want there, and when those legs finally happen, they'll be in the wrong order, with the wrong host, and the wrong teams will be eliminated.
-
^
LOL, touché!
-
Really, the only dud leg on this route is if they did indeed go to Victoria Falls. Seeing 3 visits in a short time by 3 different versions (including this one) kind of ruined the spectacle.
-
I'm pretty sure the Azerbaijan timing conflicts with Victoria falls. Looking at Baku a few days after Tangier (22 May)
-
Azerbaijan! What a nice surprise! What an awesome country to be visited! :conf: :cheer: :woohoo:
-
For a post-COVID first production route, this turned out well. Love that we’re seeing Azerbaijan again.
I'm with this - this is actually a really interesting route that would be super fun to run

Outside of the US TAR. This is one of the best routes I've seen and to accomplish at a COVID-era. Props to the production.
Iceland, Spain, Austria, South Korea, New Zealand, Morocco, Azerbaijan, Vietnam and a speculated, Bulgaria, which I do hope so it does get visited.
Azerbaijan is a surprise and it's refreshing since were are seeing it in the summer, US S.20's visit was during the winter months, not really ideal for a coastal city like Baku.
I've seen the F1 Races there on TV and it is stunning.
Bulgaria, TAR Israel, making 1sts for the franchise, if confirmed, 1st ever visit added to the list (Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Cuba).
Iceland, Spain, South Korea, New Zealand, Austria, Morocco, Vietnam - No need to elaborate, these are already gems.
On a different note: If TAR Israel can do this. I'm hoping the US version can to. I am waiting to be surprised. Glad Travel is up and about.
-
At least the Azeris will be dealing with racers more like Race Across the World 1's than Season 20's.
-
I didn't see this in the I've thread, but looks like the whole Baku leg is on tiktok

I think TARAUS's Cuba visit predated Israel's, IIRC.
But OMG THIS ROUTE. Wow. Undervisited countries with beautiful and distinctive locations, and no two countries with the same native language (Icelandic, Spanish, Korean, English/Maori, German, Arabic, Vietnamese, Azeri, and possibly Bulgarian - and really only 2 countries with the same region, with SK/Vietnam as Asia, even though SK is East Asia and Vietnam is Southeast Asia; similarly, Spain/Austria/Iceland are European Union but much more culturally different than, say, Austria/Germany, and Spain/Morocco are both Mediterranean but on different continents.)
This will be a fun season.

Do you think we also traveled to Germany in this season? I mean it is a short drive from Austria. If TAR Israel did, new country. That'll further make it one of the best. I hope Bulgaria gets confirmed.
-
Peach loves fun, positivity, and JOY.
Gets ornery with too much whining...
Go ahead...but don't forget the good stuff!
:ghug:
-
I'm very excited to see what the season has to offer.
-
Was the finale leg in Queenstown? Do we know how many legs this season has?
-
^
Considering that the last three seasons all ended on Israeli soil, the probability of an overseas finale destination is low.

Out of all the seasons of Hamerotz, this is the best route IMO. If they did visit Germany and Bulgaria, apart from being 1sts for the Israeli version, is Zambia even confirmed? that'd be even more stunning if those 3 were also on. If I was a Racer, this is a route I'm be extremely happy to run. Iceland, Spain, Austria, South Korea, New Zealand, Morocco, Azerbaijan, Vietnam.
