The Seoul Metropolitan City Government and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism have invested 4.3 billion won ($3.8 million) for the world's first competitive video gaming competitions-only complex, which occupies six floors of the S-Plex Center in Sangam, western Seoul. After going through seven years of construction, the complex has held test operations over the last two weeks.
The Seoul OGN e-Stadium will be operated by local entertainment and media conglomerate CJ E&M's video gaming cable channel OGN. Comprised of main and auxiliary floors, the complex has a seating capacity of 1,000.
I already love this leg from the preview! :lol:Wasn't TAR16's virtual reality Roadblock in the finale a computer game too? ???
Speed stacking? First time ever teams play actual computer games on the race?
HELL YES
That, and some other computerised tasks we have seen on TAR (like the Ship detour in leg 7 of TAR27 in The Netherlands) were a spin or artificial reality and simulations, but they weren't exactly the computer games I can actually play myself on my own PC.Oh yeah, those job simulation tasks + TAR19 Atlanta's flight school Roadblock
I see them as different things and am therefore happy for the upcoming Korea leg. :P

Regarding episode preview:
And in the promo at the flashy clips before the CBS production credits, there were 3 distinct scenes I noticed. First was a group of female singers or dancers on an outdoor makeshift stage with a violet and paisley-toned "sunray" cutout backdrop facing against a major street with average-sized skyscrapers. Second one is an excited reaction from Scott & Brooke side by side, possibly at the final Pit Stop... (can someone please recheck if they dare to do so?). And the third one was Matt & Redmond exiting a high-speed railcar at a station (reference TAR17's use of Seoul's system).
In the preview you can see LoLo standing in a room with what looks like Banchan. (Korean sidedishes) so there could possibly be a Korean food task too. Maybe it's a double Roadblock & Detour leg. With food/dance detour and the Video games rb and Stacking. Also the pitstop seems to be in a public open place, possibly the Cheonggyecheon.

My gut say that the cook will be ARI...
And finally a task related to South Korea, pheew :D
I'm looking forward to see this leg, not only because it's an underused country, but also because we don't know a lot about it! :conf:For me, it's all about the video games.
I can't imagine the challenge requiring that Poongko be defeated a match, or even a round as I think it is unlikely that anyone without exceptional knowledge of the game would stand a chance against him. It's an interesting point. I'm not a gamer, so let me ask...can Street Fighter matches be handicapped? During the Shanghai table tennis task, the opponents were made to use clipboards, frying pans, etc. The only alternative to handicapping I see is that the opponents (the professionals) were told to spar for a few rounds then lay down and play dead.
I think the pitstop is just on a Sidewalk?Could be; the only two reasons I can think of for hugs and hi-fives are a pit stop or a good time for an early release the next morning. I double-checked the camera angles and it's definitely Gangnam station/M square. Two distinctive buildings are in the background (see here (http://dmaps.kr/4smn5)).
Sunset in Seoul on June 30th, 2016 was 7:57 pm local time, the teams arrived in the city around 4:30 in the afternoon. The drive from Incheon Airport to Seoul is 1 or 1 1/2 hour by taxi.

Press pics are up4 tasks :hoot: probably the longest penultimate leg in a while? (The last one with more than 3 tasks are S19, but that was separated in two countries)
- Two RB: speed stacking and SFV
- Two ARM: kimchi and k-pop
What's an ARM?
^^ i think the cluebox placed in there tend for rb describtion rather than when teams finished the rb task and get the clue from there.. ???
But there's a possibilities
Street Fighter V Task Roles:
Scott - Chun Li
Matt - Rainbow Mika
London - Laura
Tara - ???
I remember posting the picture from the Bs. As. Bus Terminal back in TAR20 and how teams picked cabs waiting in a different section from the rest of the passengers and all of them belonged to the same taxi company; so it wouldn't be the first time this kind of instructions are given.
Where was Bs. As.??
