If you HAVE a live sighting to share, help us as much as you can with
WHO (be descriptive, what they look like, is it a male/female team for example, what colour they are wearing is helpful)
WHAT are they doing
WHERE (as exactly as possible... street? airport gate? address? be specific!)
WHEN (what time zone?, exact time)
and any descriptions of the action! Pictures are treasured!

If you have a spoiler and prefer to share it privately, you can email me or georgiapeach, our emails are in our profiles. Your confidentiality will be respected. You can also PM us if you register here.

IMPORTANT! If you find anything posted by someone working in any capacity for the race or by production, do NOT post it here, you can cost someone their job...or worse. Let me or georgiapeach know, and we'll see if it can be shared. Thanks!

Same goes for info on FUTURE legs, if you have a spoiler message one of the Detectives FIRST please.

If you are posting a tweet, please post the tweet, the tweet time, and LINK TO the twitter user name. Take a screencap if you can, tweets do disappear.
Please be kind, and don't all bury the poor unsuspecting twitterer with questions, if you see another RFFer on the job, let them handle it.

Photos should be credited. If someone is kind enough to share some with us specifically, those should be marked with photo by...or photo credit to....when posting. Generally, pics posted on Flickr, Instagram, twitter are considered "public". Ask if you need help.

Race started yesterday at Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Center in Yellowknife (credit leafsfan)
Ten teams spotted

Teams were seen using Chevrolet Silverado trucks (prob to airport)

Teams flew Yellowknife to Edmonton using these two flights: 4 on the first, remainder believed to be on the second

So today we went to jasper for the weekend . Not knowing there were doing the amazing race Canada there . We got to see all of the trucks and my uncle got to even be in it giving directions. It was pretty sick !!!!!!

Opening Day at Alpine Village Resort Jasper yesterday ended up being even busier as we had The Amazing Race Canada teams come in all day to get directions from our very own --------- at our front desk! They were filming the first episode here in Jasper that will air on CTV in July.

Asian FF and another FF spotted, possibly the blue one. It is possible the blue FF is the pink FF but I'm not sure.

Some Amazing Race Canada participants just happened to be rapelling down the outside of the Calgary Tower while we were there... This is also how ------- wanted to get down instead of the elevator. The production staff said she had to wait until she was bigger...

The pictures don't seem like a team; if it is its a MM team

Hi, just saw your message now (1 May). So the TAR was out on Frame Lake which is a small lake right by downtown Yellowknife. They were out there for about 6 hours doing some promo stuff. They had the racers doing some riding on ATVs while a helicopter with video camera made passes over them. Around noon, and during the only time I wasn't in my office watching) they took off racing. I don't how they did the start, but they started in the middle of the lake and came running up towards the downtown core. People in my work watched them run past our lunch room. From what I've heard they had to race down to an island on our big lake (Great Slave Lake) and then from there to the airport.

There is a woman standing to the left of the backpacks. Racer??

The two in blue may be the airport team initially mistaken for Emmett and Jillian.

Not sure if that is ground help or a red team?

Yeah I think so, I just used google earth too and the field that they are filming in is right behind it.

Possibly spent the night at UCB

Departure as above.

The first portion is believed to be in HAIDA GWAII BC and should be underway now.

The second portion is well determined, just waiting for our first sighting to be able to share!!

The two tweets about her grandmother were deleted just after I found them. Can't get the time of them now. I don't think the Dolan twins tweet is related to TAR Canada. I'm not sure who they are or if they are Canadian, just including it in case and to give a time reference for the deleted tweets. Who ever the Dolan Twins are, they've been posting to their Youtube page in the last few days, so I don't think they are on the race.

Hello - I saw them today around 1:45pm, still here in Prince Rupert... walking along 1st Avenue, then venturing back to the Crest Hotel. I will try and upload the three photos I did manage to snag.

Why on earth does someone have a cooler in the Penn? It's part of a U turn in the filming of Amazing Race Canada. I love this town.

I think the first one you mentioned is just a production member showing the clue to the camera? Like on classic TAR when we see someone pull out a clue coupled with Phil narration.

Today I saw 2 contestants from the Amazing Race season 4 take a pit stop for directions at the city road Irving looking for Fort Howe. Welcome to SJ haha

(Note: looking at the map, I do not believe the poster means "pitstop" as in TAR Pitstop. The Irving gas station and Fort Howe appear to be between the stop at market and the stop at Moosehead Brewery...it's abt half way between the two locations)

Yesterday morning, I saw a car with a little film crew inside (complete with bright lighting) and later saw a group of people running across Rothesay Ave., from Crosby's to the steps of the dance studio, followed by a camera person. I thought it was weird, until I heard that the Amazing Race Canada was in Saint John, filming for the new season. I'll be watching next month to hopefully see Saint John featured!
In the comments: a friend of mine was stopped by a team and asked for directions uptown - exciting! Looking forward to the new season!

The love of my life hiked with me for 3 hours up and down Mont Royal only to discover that the Chalet at the top with the spectacular view was roped off from the public because it was being used to make a movie! Still a very sweet time.

They started in the uptown core and were then seen at the Saint John City Market, however, they did not go in the market - it was closed. There was a Hotels.com booth seen right in front of the city market.

There was teams later spotted near Crosby's Molasses Plant

There was a route marker seen at Moosehead Brewery - Canada's oldest independent brewery. There was a tent with safety vests and goggles sitting outside the door to the bottleshop, where the beer is bottled.

It's possible that there was a detour and it was a choice between Moosehead or Crosbys - both well known in Canada, although this is just speculation on my part.

My father said it could have been the nearby Lighthouse at the top of the hill. People that went there from the Disney Cruise couldn't go see it as it was blocked off.
