Remember to help keep a focus on the Graffiti Pit at http://www.westland.net/beachcam if you plan to watch the event live from the comfort of your home (or work). The beach looks really empty right now, but expect action coming your way!
Additionally, I will be live streaming the festivities! Compared to the webcam, the live stream will be providing sound. You can also chat with people watching! Download the Stre.am app, quickly sign up (or log in), and look for my stream on the homepage (my username is the same one used on RFF). I will try to start at 7:00 AM.
I'll be heading out to the beach in a few minutes.

TAR 1 was 32 days. TAR 27 will be 21 days.

Race has been shortened quite a bit since the beginning:
TAR 1 was 32 days. TAR 27 will be 21 days.
So the race should end around July 13. Maybe a day more but that's kind of the only buffer zone they have.

I suspect that happens in Rio though, and that was hit and miss throughout last season.

Hi RFF! I'm back from Venice.
Sorry for missing in the action. LA traffic is a lot unpredictable than I thought. :(
Also sorry for the ones watching the Stre.am. For some unknown reason the Graffiti Pit was a dead zone for all my connections.

Also, for another unknown reason Stre.am only streamed in low quality, not the HD it advertises... But, I am certain the ones using Periscope will churn out better and smoother videos.
I did try to drive to Mother Beach in Marina del Ray to capture the water bike challenges, but the teams were too fast for me to catch up. They were done before I knew it. Plus, LA traffic... :grins:
Anyways, I am done and finally get a chance to sit back, relax, and look at tweets and updates for the duration of the race, because chasing these guys was rough and sweaty.
