Do you guys think the merge boot will be Corrine'd? (Making the merge but not jury), because the last 5 seasons the 12th placer wasn't on the Jury.

I don't count season 25 and 27 because they merged at 11 not 12.

Probably. The producers haven't had a jury of 9/Final 3 since One World (although the odds of a 3-3-3 split are almost astronomical)

I hope not and I also speculate that Julie (or another 12th placer on SJDS) would have been on the jury had she not quit. Wasn't a rule like that introduced after Nicaragua?

I just finished Caramoan and didn't watch the reunion because I heard only 7 people talked the whole show?? (Not like there was even 7 amazing people do give that time to so it should've been spread out). Corinne was really screwed and idk why she was not a jury member. Sad that she was my fave.
My prediction is big headed Rodney gets Corinne'd

That's one of the reasons why Caramoan is my 2nd least favorite season just in front of Redemption Island. Plus, the fact that Brenda/Erik had such an invisible edit and Francesca being voted out first again.

X to all of these things. It's really a horrible season. Why was Brandon a favourite even? How did Sherri go from running a great alliance to INV? Editing was really bad. Struggled through the season tbh

It's common speculation the "Favs" includes production-value favs. Brandon made for hateable TV, and in his "I'm such a good God-loving person" first season no less, so when he came back he blew the place up, lol.

Back on the topic of this episode, though, I won't be surprised if we see another Corinne'ing, but I do believe Julie would have been first on jury, had she not quit. So 9-jury with F3 makes sense for a landmark S30 (or a switchback to 7 and 2 classic style, leaving quite a few more people out...PLOT TWIST. lol.)

^ Jeff stated in an interview that at the time that Julie quit, which was the last time,she had a chance to go on the pre-jury trip with John Rocker, which is why Julie wanted to quit at the time she did. That makes me think that from now on, the merge boot will not be on jury, just like the old seasons, but we'll see on Wednesday.

I wanted Kelly to win, but this was such a great tribal that I'm still very happy and excited! Way to go Jen, I'm just hoping that Kelly will be in the running for S31(32)
P.S. what a cop curse btw :lol: In S28 Sarah was also left out from her old tribe at the swap and she was also the first merge boot! :lol:

Totally sucks Kelly isn't jury, I didn't even listen when Jeff said that I was so mad - she was so invisible, swore she had a Natalie edit going into merge! Guess that means it's likely a F2, with 9 jurors? Or F3 with 7?
I think the episode was very dull - like, why get rid of Kelly, when you get ditch Mike/Rodney and keep strength on the No-Collar side? Mike is clearly king-pin
Also, did Will vote for Hali? With Carolyn/Tyler voting with the Blues, NCs still don't have the numbers.
Someone please just vote out Will/Dan, I'm so tired of them. Non-strategists who aren't good at challenges and don't have particularly shining personalities either #eyeroll
For me, Jenn is fun, but I have a hard time saying "she's my fav" - I would like to see Shirin pull off a big move, I like Tyler a lot still, and Hali/Carolyn/Mike are in the middle of the pack for me.

Oh yeah!! Great move, Jenn! In your faces, Blue Collar! I'm so disappointed with Will. And I liked Carolyn and Tyler but at this point, I'm with Joe, Jenn, Hali and Shirin.

I'm kinda just looking forward to some shake-ups as I'm rooting for Carolyn for the win (since ep 1 by the way :luvya:), but I dislike many people on her alliance. Like, seriously, Will should have been gone a while ago, the same with Rodney and Dan... (:;)

The Chasing is funny but the killing part might have bad effect on Hali because a lot of casual fans will go for her. So it's good for her to not show this part.

I didn't enjoy the killing part either, but that's survival. And it included the strategy part of not having to share food with the other tribe, so that was smart as well.
I just liked them all running around and falling over :funny:
I remember such chicken chase in an early season, when was it? I believe the chicken(s) escaped then. :grins:

I found this episode boring and predictable.
I find most castways annoying and unlikeable :ascared (:;) especially Mike, Jenn ,Dan and Joe

Sierra- No real alliance, could swing against Blue Collars
Carolyn- strong, powerful, could make a big move
Hali- ????
Rodney- very likely to turn on Blue Collars
Dan- need pants fast or go home, admire his challenge strength
Will- just there
Tyler- in the middle
Mike- annoying
Shirin- annoying, was funny
Jenn- annoying
Therefore, Sierra and Rodney could possibly betray Blue Collars. No collars are targets so Joe or Will could be the next to go. White collars could swing wherever they please

Why so? He is my favourite blue collar male, but I find him a little annoying because he's very bold and over the top sometimes.

Mike is someone I'd like to be friends with in real life, so I'm a fan of him. I also love Jenn/Shirin/Hali/Tyler, though, so my tastes are all over the board. I just feel like if he does puppet-master his way to the end, they won't give him the votes, I see some people here being bitter.

Why so? He is my favourite blue collar male, but I find him a little annoying because he's very bold and over the top sometimes.
Because Mike is classless and got the trademark "I'm better than you" edit with the Blue Collars fighting over their labour division. Plus naming the tribe Merica is the most awful thing I have ever seen - to quote Queen Shirin, "not even Sarah Palin is dumb enough to call America Merica." Just don't like him at all.
