Well, Shelley & would be eliminated this leg IF it was an elimination leg....

Yes, there is a chance. A 50/50 chance, in fact.
With Save in effect, I start to think about when the potential NEL would come up, and I think it's unlikely that Leg 6 is NEL.
Since the Save is valid till Leg 9 if I remember correctly, the producers probably need to fix Leg 10 as NEL since they need a buffer in case Misti/Jim need to use it before Leg 9. What I think is if Misti/Jim use the Save before Leg 9 then Leg 10 would change into an elimination leg, otherwise they would not have enough elimination and it would make 4 teams in the final (unless they foresee that it's fine to have 4 teams in final).
So this only leaves 1 more possible NEL between Leg 6-9, and I think it's more even to have it at Leg 7 then.

What if they just keep all NELs and make it a 13 leg season, or have a superleg instead? Would avoid the moving of NELs

I don't think they could add 1 extra leg just because Misti/Jim use the Save? And superleg seems unlikely as they would need more elimination but not less? Let's see how it plays out...

This one has been very hard to find. I've spent almost all afternoon in it. I have Moroccan friends from the area and a Mexican friend at the Mexican embassy in Morocco helping and not even them have been able to come up with a match.
Those soft walls are starting to suggest that it may be a prop, maybe in the film studios at nearby Ouarzazate...

Just based on driving times, my guess is the Detours at Oumnass precede the RB which is at Terres d'Amanar. Additionally, they have tents available so this is prob the overnight PitStop as well.

Why would teams take a flight? I think teams did the ARI in Marrkech, then drove off to do the Detour and Roadblock. On peach's map, it shows that the locations are close and flight would not be needed.

Anyone have luck finding El Massi? I see a palmeraie across an east-west street where Brooke/Robbie and Shelley/Nici get off their taxis, but I'm still searching for the location...

Wikimapia lists an El Massi (http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=31.643298&lon=-7.978129&z=19&m=b&show=/22513756/el-massi), but I have my doubts.
I'm having trouble with Casbah D'if as well, even after CBS told us. Earlier I thought it might be this place (http://www.panoramio.com/photo/48670148) north of Lalla, but some of the details don't match.

The thing is that from the bazaar where the carpet shop is located that point is only half the distance stated by some of the locals to the teams, according to Google maps.

Can anybody tell what the greeter says to Shelly and Nici? It sounds more like " Welcome to samba diafa" than Kasbah d' If. Maybe the last is how the producers think it's pronounced?
Also, Slowhatch, the place you found looks a lot like the pitstop, especially if you compare it with a panoramic shot almost at the end of the show.

Slowhatch, you have it! The roundabout in the front of the building matches up, as do the aerials filmed on the show. Oval found it in the Speculation Thread too (back in June!).

It's 3:36am and I finally found it!!
The first clue to finding it is in the sequence where lead teams are riding the carriages. You see a bend in the road crossing over a bridge.
Behind the bridge you see some buildings with a tower. This same set of buildings can be seen in the background when Tim/Te Jay are lost.
The last clue is when Brooke/Robbie get off their taxi, across the street from a palmerie.
Combine the clues and you find the location, a neighbourhood labelled as Arsete (Arsat) Boumankar on Wikimapia just east of the Old Town.
(Edit: This name was printed on the clue, just that Shelley/Nici mangled it to become Al-Surat Bukmar...)

The pottery shop sounded like "bessa beaucoup" but I found no hits for that. Since it looked semi-permanent from the caps, I scanned the road to Lalla and found this likely spot (viewpoint (https://www.google.com/maps/@31.493181,-8.0633852,311m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en)).

I know the race looks harder than it seems on TV and not everything is edited in. But why did Shelley and Nici:
1. Not immediately stop to ask for directions when they obviously have no idea where to drive
2. Stop earlier at a location to ask for directions (like what they did)
3. Pay a cab driver to bring them to the pottery place
??? :stare :(

Agreed, no clue! They were sloppy and I almost think tired of trying to figure out directions everywhere. Getting lost is such an understated part of the race - you can be hella strong, a superfan of the show and know all the types of challenges, and be a fast runner, but if you go the wrong way? Tough luck!
I was really hoping for 3 female teams into the top 6, sadness. I'd like to see the remaining lady teams survive to final five now. Hopefully the dentists have to use their save soon!!

Not that I am aware of...see, it is THEIR choice if they want to ask a local for help or not.
Time credits are only given for CREW issues I believe...and those not so often anymore.

But like in the leg they run around a market (like last season finding the wedding shop), if each time they asked, it took 10 or 15 minutes, they would take at least some hours there ???

I have searched Casbah D'If till I am blue in the face...except for "Amazing Race" quotes, there is nothing....
So I think Chateau just got himself a Kasbah!!

Kym, on her Youtube channel, pointed out something I had missed while watching. Brooke/Robbie receive 2 apples; Robbie eats one and Brooke feeds the horse the remaining apple. Either the producers missed it, or they didn't think it rose to the level of a violation.

Actually, I knew it immediately when I watched the show. But I don't know if it's his own apple or the apple for the horse.
