Starts tonight at 8PM on ABC!!
Best summer show ever? Or not??
Discuss all the fantasy right here!
-
I'm really excited to watch this.
-
Oooh boy. You have to Believe, like any good fantasy.
But I'm in! This was AMAZING!
-
It was really good!
I'm sad to see Katie go. I really liked her. I don't like Christian and Patrick, and Andrew and Ashley are completely invisible. They probably had 3 minutes of airtime between the two of them. Bonnie and Lina are such stars.

eh it was ok Whodunnit was far better, they should have renewed that instead.

Yep I agree. Whodunnit was great.
-
Whodunnit was better more fun.
Definitely will give this series a second chance

Andy Dehnart has reviewed this and says that it all comes together by episode 3... check out media
Did y'all know there was no prize?? The prize was apparently the Experience!

I found it all really meh sorry :(
As a reality-competition show, it's pretty great. It's the whole forced storyline thing I'm not exactly happy about. At least Whodunnit's storyline was intentionally cheesy and campy and fit the show's "B-Movie murder-mystery style" well. The Quest is that movie that knows it's unrealistic yet forces it down and makes us try to see it as this big giant epic Fantasy program.
It sucks because I had really high hopes for this show. I hope it gets better on episode 2.

I watched the premiere just now. It's a very quaint show, the conception of which is rarely seen in reality competition shows. Players get an experience of steeping themselves in the world they'd only see in the cinema or on TV.
I'm willing to see it act as a sandbox game in which players' actions will affect the storyline--what actually makes the show catchy I think. It'll be great if it is so.
The bad thing is, if contestants realize that it is actually a Survivor-ish game in disguise and hence they apply some similar strategies, the show will be weird.
-
I didn't think I would like it at all but I decided to give it a chance and enjoyed the premiere. As it was said above if you can try to believe in the story it becomes easier and more believable to follow. An interesting concept! I'll keep watching to see how it pans out :)

I watched it last night and I'm not sure about it. Maybe it's the roll playing bit, but it reminds of that show a few years ago where the contestants were pirates. That one was a total flop, I don't think they aired the whole season it was so bad. I'll have to watch a couple more episodes before I can make up my mind.
-
The premier is so-so. But I still give it a chance. Just 1 episode and it mostly focus on introducing the game and the contestants. I think it will improve.
Anyway, some acting are so forced for me.
-
Supposedly by ep three it is all pulled together, I willing to wait and see!
-
I thought the premiere wasn't bad. In the beginning it felt awkward and weird (the storyline parts), but once the players got into the game a little more it got better. I think once the contestants know better what is expected and how to play the game, things will get more interesting.
It was sad that Katie was banished first, but I think Lina (?) made a good point: If Katie is starting to feel like she is out of the game, then she is likely going to be out of the game.
Although Katie herself said she wasn't ready to be out of the game yet.

I loved it! And of course , nobody deserved to go home on Day 2 , i think they should have more time between.
