HI, ready to watch!
ROUTE INFO: Get out of the Ford Explorer and dig forROADBLOCK: Do an escape artist illusion!your next cluea locked box for a ring of keys while being driven to the MgM Grand!
Can we like not get magic in finales - I've had enough of this what is the point even.
I love the Karma!
“It takes 2 country singers to light up the I at the Mirage.” :funny:Like Jet & Cord's Sri Lankan pole fishing comet about how they would have liked to weigh the seafood... so much potential even by racers for tougher tasks.
Brenchel looking for the back entrance of the Mirage. They have to run a bit, but they missed the cluebox or something? ???
Caroline & Jennifer say it takes a while to screw in the light bulb because it’s a bit far away. They're counting how many light bulbs they use, and they will add them up at the end. Dave & Connor begin screwing in the lightbulbs. Caroline & Jennifer say Brenchels got lost along the way.
Brenchel are in the hotel but they don’t have their clue? They’re running back because Rachel thinks they need a clue, but Brendon thought they had to search for the clue inside the hotel… Rachel: “SEARCH THE HOTEL? THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST HOTELS IN THE WORLD!" :stare :funny:
Commercial.
OMG Brenchel country pls go pls TY bye

After 24 seasons, worst winners ever have to come from an All-Stars edition? RLY?
I like this winner and race course was great best season every
Worst winners ever. Agreed.

I liked the finale and the winners but obviously Carojen would've been better. Meh cast, meh tasks summed up with a meh finale
Let's have a great finale!:hoot:
Wow, such a little finale - and I'm not talking about the winners -. I guess I saw better final legs designs in the Fantasy Game board here :groan: .
Tied with Eric and Danielle, Flo, and Jamy as the worst winners.

SEASON 24 FINAL THOUGHTS:
*sighs* So TAR has successfully ended another season. It was a particularly horrible season, but nonetheless had it’s moments of greatness. Even before the season started, the WTF decisions made by TAR Producers were literal red flags to this season we would be subjected to. The fact that we had FOUR consecutive Double legs were ugh, but most importantly, when the Race started, we saw the cast for the very first time. And they surely brought back a lot of horrible choices. There were people thrilled with seeing Natalie/Nadiya, and surely a lot of people who hated having to deal with the Cowboys for a third time. More “WTF” casting decisions involved seeing Jessica/John and the Globetrotters. The boot list was horrible. Two true “All Star” teams were eliminated first, and we had perhaps the worst Final 6 ever of the show’s returning racer seasons. Not to mention the fact that the leg design was truly linear as hell for most of the legs. Leg 1 was basically a glorified luck task turned into a whole leg. Leg 7-8 had the same task pop out two weeks in a row. The Speed Bumps were TWICE delivering items. We even had a full task lifted directly from TARA and TARAUS! The finale was very linear and meh. The Amazing Race is supposed to be fun and good, and right now, it’s FAR from fun and good.
Season Grade: 4/10
Also if anyone wants entertainment Marie's twitter is amazing AND she'll be on the reality recap tomorrow.
Although its been broken before, it was nice to see the hometown curse come back into play.
I love it when Brendan and Rachel tried to steal the cab and it failed. Only to have there cab drive get worse!
See you later Brendan and Rachel :waves:

Please give us more of your insight - maybe a leg-by-leg breakdown? ;)
Tied with Eric and Danielle, Flo, and Jamy as the worst winners.
I actually didn't think that Jamy were bad winners, a bit boring but not bad winners.
Zach did everything by himself. Flo just whined, cried and tried to make the team go down...Seemed like some racer from this season named Dave.Tied with Eric and Danielle, Flo, and Jamy as the worst winners.
Flo & Zach are actually one of the best winners of the Race.
Jason & Amy were actually good?
Would anyone like to quote some of Marie's tweets (for those of us without a twitter). Also if anyone wants entertainment Marie's twitter is amazing AND she'll be on the reality recap tomorrow.
Yeap, she's almost on fire.
:conf: :conf: GO DAVE & CONNOR! :conf: :conf:
They are in some desperate need of love here

I think, after race, Cancer, don't win money, if was due Roadblock rule. CaroJen maybe wins the money. Or they don't got penalty?
I liked Zach, he was a great racer and deserves awards for putting up with Flo, who did one RB. At least Dave did 5 :groan:Tied with Eric and Danielle, Flo, and Jamy as the worst winners.

I hope Dave and Connor get to come back again. They were so entertaining! :hearts:
SEASON OVERALL SCORE: 3/10
(Sorry, I just didn't feel the effort put into this season. Every Leg of this season was just bland at some point and the "local" movie-style music didn't do this season any justice. Worst season I've watched. :(

Dave 5, Connor 8, that's exceeded Roadblock limit.

Even though I, too, find it unfair, Dave was not required to do the RBs in Leg 11, even though Connor had done 6. If it was a rule, the clue for the Welsh poem RB would have stated, "NOTE: Dave MUST perform this Roadblock." Therefore, they should not have gotten a penalty.I think, after race, Cancer, don't win money, if was due Roadblock rule. CaroJen maybe wins the money. Or they don't got penalty?

And why Cancer wins? They should even got penalty for messing up Roadblock rule!
Well that's embarrassing... :-[SEASON OVERALL SCORE: 3/10

Rachel, you forgot to remove the ! :o
Which is dumb. I hope TAR changes it next season to no more than 6 Roadblocks by leg 11.I think, after race, Cancer, don't win money, if was due Roadblock rule. CaroJen maybe wins the money. Or they don't got penalty?

Apparently you can't do more than 6 roadblocks before Leg 10 but in the final two legs they can be split 2-1.
I think the Nevada Department of Transportation should find Brendan and Rachael's cab driver and give her an award. Commend her on her safe driving. She was an amazing person. Not bow to their pressure.
I salute her! :flowers:
Also how on earth is Flo-dislike an opinion
worst team ever-jonvic/cowboys so third worst?Don't even put those two teams beside each other in slashes. At least Jet & Cord didn't violently shove and vulgarly belittle at each other.

Cuz she didn't deserve to win over the two other all-star finale teams and was dragged around the world.

Goths are amazing both seasons and you rank the priests top 3 and say I have no taste :res:
I liked most of TAR12's cast <3 and goths were really good <3 I liked them better in TAR12 than TAR18 though.
Cowboys weren't as bad as I thought they would be, to be honest Dave & Connor sort of stole the spotlight from them after like Leg 3.

TAR12 had 4-5 memorable teams so it was a great season with turrible winners </3

I disliked Phil's hosting style this time around, he talked too much at the Finish Line, the announcement of team's placements in every leg was boring and lacked of any tension or drama, and his comments lacked of the neutrality needed from a host in this kind of shows, bring back the Phil from old seasons...

I agree - he seemed so fake and pretentious... it feels nothing like TAR. :(
Also not including the Family edition, This is the shortest route in the US TAR history at 23,000 miles. Even TAR 21 and TAR 15 had longer routes.

I guess he wasn't excited at all because of the season itself. This season felt like nobody cared at all, and it was sad.
lol if you think its rigged
The only reason I could possibly think of with regards to the Roadblock Rule is that there might have been some Roadblocks Dave couldn't do due to the Achilles problem (remember this was only a year ago it may not have fully recovered by that point). Roadblocks that come to mind is the trampoline one in Leg 4 or the aerial flips in Leg 1
THEORY: Maybe once Connor hit 6 Roadblocks after Leg 10, the producers quickly changed the rules to allow Connor to do more Roadblocks.
And Brendon is studying how to potentially cure alzheimers <3
What is Cancer going to do with that money anyway? :res:

Brenchel want to provide a stable financial situation for their baby especially with Brendon still studying, and I thought the idea of Brenchel babies was cute.
If they really wanted to include the Helicopters, they should have put them at the start of the leg,and have them skydive to the digging site.
The finish line would have been SOOO much better if it was a sprint, not a drop. Caroline and Jennifer and Cancer were so close together, but, a helicopter landing and taking off (which had to happen in between Dave and Caroline) would OBVIOUSLY stretch the gap. Plus, the helicopters had to fly around a route through the city, so there was no chance of any catching up. Like last season's finale, it had serious design flaws: starting with a luck task and then linear tasks to the FL. The only difference is that racers didn't struggle in this luck task, allowing there to be teams close to each other. Although this was a close finish time-wise, with less than a 5-minute gap between Cancer and Caroline and Jennifer, the latter had no chance of winning after the two teams arrived at Maverick Helicopters.
Meanwhile the other team that can not be mentioned became whining, petulant silly men whom by the end of the Race, I had no respect for at all with their behaviour. Inexcusable for a man who said he was 60 and was actually 59.
http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/exclusive-the-amazing-race-all-stars-runners-ups-jennifer-wayne-and-caroline-cutbirth-talk-(part-1)-16341.php
Reality TV World: Congratulations on second place, girls. I know it's not first but it's still an accomplishment.
Jennifer Wayne: I know, we were four seconds away from being millionaires!
Reality TV World: Oh wow. You lost by literally only four seconds? I was going to ask how long after Dave and Connor you got to that Pit Stop mat.
Caroline Cutbirth: It was four seconds. The thing that was crazy is, we were in the cab at the cluebox and then Dave and Connor passed us, so we didn't really think anything of it. But the person who pulled the clue first got to jump first.
And so the fact that they pulled the clue first, I was in the helicopter five seconds before Dave, but they pulled the clue first so they took off first. So literally, we counted last night, and we got there four seconds after them. So we were just like, "Oh my gosh! We were four seconds away from a million dollars."
Bad leg design screwed over a more deserving winner :/
Tbh they would hands down be the best threepeater team ever on TAR.
The above teams should comeback, but the Twinnies deserve and need redemption. They were robbed due to a poor leg design.Tbh they would hands down be the best threepeater team ever on TAR.
No. Unless it's the Cha Chas or Charla and Mirna.. otherwise. NO. LOL.
Many teams in the history of TAR have been robbed truly due to poor leg design, Nary and Jaime, Aja and Ty, Katie and Rachel etc.True, I was just being stupid.
But the twinnies are definitely NOT one of them.
The twinnies were on the first flight but were dumb (they even admitted it themselves) enough to lose their lead while looking for a bridal shop. Leo and Jamal were with them and recovered from it but these two never stop to think and process their thoughts but instead found out that they were last and fumbled/panicked. The twinnies were never robbed, but got eliminated exactly the fair and square way, IMHO.
