Kassandra “Kass” McQuillen
(http://wwwimage.cbsstatic.com/base/files/styles/136x170/public/cast/kassandra2.jpg)
Name (Age): Kassandra “Kass” McQuillen (41)
Tribe Designation: Brains Tribe
Current Residence: Tehachapi, Calif.
Occupation: Attorney
Personal Claim to Fame: My daughter, putting myself through law school while working full-time, and winning $1.2 million in my first trial with no court experience.
Inspiration in Life: Anyone who follows their dreams and doesn’t give up.
Hobbies: Reading, rabble rousing and golfing/walking/hiking.
Pet Peeves: Stupid people, toilet paper rolls left empty on the roller, laundry outside the basket and whining/excuses.
3 Words to Describe You: Resourceful, tenacious and underestimated.
If You Could Have 3 Things on The Island What Would They Be and Why? My daughter’s princess crown towel—I love it and her, a Frisbee to play with and a littlest pet shop from my daughter to keep in my pocket.
SURVIVOR Contestant You Are Most Like: Sandra, she didn’t seem to be in it for anything but winning money for her family.
Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: For the fun, challenge and money.
Why You Think You’ll “Survive” SURVIVOR: I’m pretty resourceful, logical and patient. I can assess a situation quickly and be reasonable.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole SURVIVOR: I like to win and always do! Plus, I’m lucky and can finagle my way out of situations.
Do You Consider Yourself a Brain, a Beauty or a Brawn? We all know I'm not here because of how I look in a bikini. I have a tendency to think I'm smarter than a lot of people, but don't we all? I guess not or you wouldn't be asking the question. There you have it - those are the analytical skills that prove I must be a Brain!
Who Do You Think Has the Best Chance in the Game of Survivor: Brains, Beauty or Brawn? I'm guessing Brains because I plan to win while not caring how I look and quite possibly sucking at challenges.

So nerdy <3
But her potentially sucking at challenges? Sigh.
-
I honestly see this woman orchestrating a huge blindside.
Really like her personality and hope she goes very far.
-
I'd be amazed if she's not ousted as soon as the Brains first lose (assuming they lose) but hopefully that's not the case.
-
^^ Same with racer. If she manages to protect herself for the first few tribals... she's going to be sitting comfortably all the way to the finale.
-
I've got to aggre with you guys. She's one of my pre-game favourites, if I were to make a top 5 of the players I love most, Kass'd totally be there! :kuss: But... Even though her whole unassuming, look worse than you really are strategy seems brilliant, it will be very hard to make it through the first TCs, because I honestly don't think she's gonna do well in challenges... :/ Though I wish so. Let's just hope the brains tribe remains undefeated for as long as possible!
God bless this smart woman! And let her make friends quick! :hrt:

Wow!

KASS APPRECIATION SQUAD BUMP <3 <3 <3 <3
-
She's brutally honest, and now my current favorite.
Go Kass <333333333
-
Completely MOR and boring episode one... I had higher hopes... :(
-
I think she's a smart one. She was the only one who knew that the team should get rid of J'Tia at the first tribal but Garrett had his own agenda in mind to get rid of David.
At the second tribal, she knew she had to follow Spencer and Garrett, but changed at the last minute because she felt more comfortable with the girls + if they do survive to a merge, she will have more girls with her or other weaker girls to take the arrow away from her being the main target. <3

SteKay being an oracle. <333333333333333333

Hopefully she has more blindsides in her <3
-
She could be good strategically, or she could be remembered as the person who kept the "mental patient" around...
-
Keeping the mental patient around takes the attention off her strategic prowess <3

It's like GODDESS SHERRI. "Shamar is my Philip, go ahead and annoy people." :funny: :funny: :funny:
-
The difference is that Shamar isn't a challenge liability (considering the other people on his tribe).

All they need is for one other person to trainwreck.

J'Tia pouring rice into the fire beats Brandon over-the-top-drama-mama rice pouring stunt plz. :funny:

Oh, so that's where I had seen the rice incident :groan:
TBH I was really scared for Kass to be gone first. Now that she hasn't, I think one spot in the F3 has already been claimed :D
Though her being so honest will totally hurt her after the merge if she doesn't change her game antics :kuss:
-
Lovely. I've just caught up with Survivor (waiting for Wednesday's episode so much OMG). I've never ever ever seen Survivor, but this season seems to be so OMG Epic fun I can't miss it.
Kass, you are the best one so far. Go Brains <3
-
Just saw the episode #ChaosKass. OMG, such a move <3333333
-
Although very entertaining <3, I do believe that Spencer was mostly correct in saying that she has a 0% chance of winning this game. Mostly being I feel like her chances were significantly reduced to make it to the finale since she seemed to be in a F3 position and now seems to be a 6th place boot, if the NuSolana are tight.
-
But Spencer also said that in the heat of the moment. He has said on numerous occasions that he is a fan of people who play the game and Kass is definitely playing the game. I don't think he would hold a grudge.
Side-note: Kass is my pick to win the whole thing! Love her!
-
However, I'm not really sure if it was strategical for her, or personal. If it was purely strategical, then I would applaud her for playing the game, but it seems personal and not strategical, not necessarily for gameplay, but only time will tell if it was a good decision or not.
And I love her personality and I loved the move she made, btw <3, I just don't know if it will pay off in the long run.

It definitely seemed highly personal against Sarah, otherwise the strategic thing for her to do was to stick with Aparri.
-
Her move would have been better in a 6-4 rather than a 6-5 situation. In a 6-4 she can be thinking of collecting votes for the final TC from the minority tribe, but she would not make it further than the F6. She made the greatest move of the season yet, but she placed herself in the outs of both alliances, unless she tries to get far with the cop, Trish and such... I feel sorry she broke the tie with the Brains since they were all AWESOME AND THE BEST OF THE CAST SO MUCH but she just went with her heart, and as much as I feel she IS the best player this season, she will most probably have her fate sealed.
-
She is so refreshing as a casting choice. There is something that feels very ~retro~ about her presence as a Survivor character. I'm hoping she won't fall victim to Older Lady Stigma because I think she has a really unique voice as a Survivor player and I'd love to be able to get a lot of that.
-
This woman keeps on giving. I also think she knows Spencer has the idol.
-
<33333333333333333
Free Agent Kass <3
SHE has the power. Probably not winning, because of alliances, but she's gotta be THE player of the year, or the Decade or whatever.
-
Best player this season ILY so much *fans* GO KASS <3
-
Damn, she's definitely my favourite and I predicted her to win in the very beginning, but I just feel that the move to vote out Sarah doomed her victory. I mean, she betrayed her alliance that now probably won't vote for her. I don't know which people she has to make it to the end with to win (especially with Morgan gone :funny:), unless the jury is extremely non-bitter this season, which I highly doubt.
Anyway, go Kass, keep on making great TV! :colors
-
I definitely don't see her getting any votes from Sarah or Morgan, that's for sure. As to whether or not she can redeem herself with the rest, anything is still possible.
-
Kass is a b*tch.
-
Hope she and Spencer get a do over...
-
What a star Kass was <3 She better come back as I feel robbed not seeing her up against the jury!
-
Well.... She's totally another version of Sherri from Caramoan.
Played the game, made decisions, got a lot of screentime, but was hated on the island by pretty much everyone and got little sympathy from the fans, even.
But I'd love both Kass and Sherri to be back one day on some sort of returnees season.
-
A Kass & Sherri alliance would be so much OMG.
-
I don't really see the similarity aside from the way they finished - Sherri played a pre-merge that was beyond flawless and then she didn't even exist after that. -_-

Kass also did a really good premerge, I think. She was in the outs since Day 01, then in tribe switch, Brains were in the power, and she just did really bad in the very first decision post-merge. I see something similar in there, tbh.

She played well in the pre-merge, yes, but the main difference is Sherri was running the whole show (on the Gota side of things) while Kass was one of the key figures. The post-merge is very different thought - invisible vs crazy.
Although admittedly they both amounted to the same thing - being a goat (although one wasn't taken to the end ).
-
I'd still like to hope Kass would have picked up at least a few votes and she better return.

Did you watch the reunion?

It was revisionism like Kass said, I believe she might won if she went against Woo but idk.
-
Changed my opinion on her drastically. She's actually really amazing.
-
I think they need Heroes VS Villians 2.
-
I think she would of gotten some votes, but not enough to win.
