So I got the idea for this thread from Reddit and it did make me think what was the most difficult season/s? Some of the early ones have to be up there. Namely Season 5 for sure. The sheer distance covered and how each country visited was so different from the others. We had the frigid Russian climate, The heat of Egypt and UAE, The wildlife of Tanzania and so on and so forth.
Season 6 I reckon was very difficult looking back with the number of difficult legs in there, Hungary I actually consider to be one of those difficult legs same with Ethiopia, China II has to be considered one of the hardest legs in TAR history in my opinion.

TAR5 is definitely up there. Perhaps TAR10 as well.

I have to add Season 17 to that. Some of those tasks were fairly brutal.

I think the first season is in another universe, than every other season, when it comes to the level of difficulty.
Everyone involved was flying by the seat of their pants, and nobody had a clue what was going to happen next. Nothing compares to the original.

Season 10 with a start in China at night. Followed by Mongolia. I'm still wondering how many of these people could get by in the sea of many who don't speak English.

Season 4's India and Korea legs were pretty tough too. Australia was physically demanding.

Season 18 KOR and goths catching up after driving to the other end of Tokyo first <3 Tea task in India, building the dinosaur in China proved very tricky. Wooden charms zodiac task. Detour in Austria eating side. CHEESE FONDUE and suitcases. Slightly biased since it is one of my favourite seasons

TAR10 is still the most physically demanding Race I think.

What about TAR2? The Australia leg in Coober Pedy definitely has to be one of the hottest in history ... at least the Golf detour. Teams getting lost in Namibia. Plus Hawaii/Alaska/San Francisco in the last two legs ... I don't think I would have survived :cmaslol

TAR 18 definitely. Two KORs. The China KOR was seriously brutal especially with the Uturn in the 2nd half.
