IMPORTANT! Even though we are a spoiler board, we do NOT want to have the episode spoiled while it is airing.

This will be more important than ever this season since Canada will be airing ahead of us any week we have Sports delays.

SO!! If you are watching anything but an EST US feed, it is your responsibility to be sure you are not ahead of us if you want to post/update in this thread. Other feeds may be way ahead of us.

SO PLEASE ** NO OUTCOMES ** to be posted before the show is done airing East Coast time!

Anyone breaking the rule is at risk of being banned. :browsie:

And NO future spoilers either! And NO spoilers ever in the Contestant threads either.

6 teams raced from Austria to Abu Dhabi. Tim & Marie argued at the detour, while Nicole was off her game at the detour. Nicky & Kim barely missed the boat, dropping them to last place. Jason and Leo faced off in a high speed race, and Leo & Jamal got 1st. Meanwhile, Nicky & Kim couldn't catch up but it was a non-elimination leg.

6 teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?

The symbols of the coins need to appear in the correct order. Then turn the coins over to reveal a 5 digit sequence. CAUTION: U-TURN AHEAD. Proceed to the Sand Dunes.

Jason & Amy depart at 7:15 AM. Amy already broke the code ahead of the leg, LOL. Amy doesn't feel like they're going the right way.

Nicole & Travis depart at 7:23 AM. They will use their EP this leg (it's the last leg they can use it).

Tim & Marie depart at 7:44 AM. They're afraid that Jamy will U-Turn them. Tim will drive if Marie doesn't yell at him. :lol:

Nicole & Travis are behind Leo & Jamal... Wow. Their lead went away. Nicole & Travis might consider U-Turning Afghanimals.

Jamy are lost.

Ice girls depart at 7:53 AM. $1 for this leg. Ice girls don't know how to do this.

Afghanimals and ER doctors arrive at the sand dunes. They're on their sand buggies. Follow the flags into the desert to find the next clue.

Jason & Amy are getting directions.

Leo & Jamal and Nicole & Travis are both driving through the dunes. ER doctors are stuck in the sand. Afghanimals get the clue. Return to their Ford Explorers and then proceed to Al Ain Oasis. Their next clue will be in the trees.

Afghanimals pass ER doctors on the way back. ER doctors get unstuck and get their clue.

Leo & Jamal see Jamy coming in. Jamy runs past Nicole & Travis and Amy says she hopes "they" don't U-Turn them. I don't know who "they" are. Jason & Amy see Tim & Marie coming. Jason & Amy get their clue as Tim & Marie start driving.

Jason & Amy are barely ahead of Tim & Marie.

Afghanimals are trying to find the oasis. Nicole & Travis are in the oasis first. They see the clue in the tree, and someone climbs up to get the clue for them. Detour: Wedding Guests or Beauty Contest.

Wedding Guests; Prepare a ceremonial dish and prepare it according to the recipe. Deliver it to the cooking station.

Beauty Contest: Following a set of scoring guidelines, they have to pick a camel... If they come up with a winning camel, they will get their next clue...? :funny:

Jamy are lost. Afghanimals haven't seen Travis & Nicole in a while. ER Doctors leave while Afghanimals arrive.

Tim & Marie are in the oasis before Jason & Amy...

Leo & Jamal get the clue in 2nd. They're doing wedding guests. Tim & Marie are doing beauty contest.

Leo has restaurant experience so Afghanimals think they can do this quickly.

Tim & Marie find out their beauty contestant is a camel... Tim: "Are we supposed to put make-up on?" Omg this is way too funny. Tim literally has no clue what he's looking for. :funny: :funny: :funny: Marie sounds like an expert. Tim: "How's his humps? He knows he's hot!" :funny: They bring their camel to the dressing area.

Nicky & Kim hope that someone else is U-Turned like the Afghanimals.

Afghanimals saw Traivs & Nicole leaving the oasis... They hope that ER doctors didn't U-Turn them...

Tim was kicked by the camel... Tim's afraid that the camel is going to kick him again. Tim says he's crossed out getting kicked by a camel on his bucklet list. :funny: Tim's hilarious tonight. Tim & Marie are done dressing up their camel... Marie and Tim think that he's beautiful... But it's rejected. They have to repick a camel.

Nicole & Travis get the roadblock clue. Balancing on the raft, they must collect 3 different coloured flags hanging above a wild water course. Nicole is doing this roadblock. Nicole misses the first 2 flags... She says she's not tall enough.

Ally & Ashley get their oasis clue and they pick to do beauty contest. Nicky & Kim arrive as Ally & Ashley leave. Nicky & Kim pick beauty contest too.

Afghanimals start crying as they're cutting onions.

Tim likes blondes.
Jason thinks his camel just burped.

Marie: "Yay. This is the prettiest one." :funny: Their camel is approved. They're out of the detour in 2nd.

Tim & Marie are trying to find the U-Turn. Jason & Amy's camel isn't cooperating. It rolls around in the sand. It's rejected anyway.

Tim & Marie find Afghanimals doing the detour... They can't find the U-Turn. They're looking for the tower... Leo & Jamal switch detour because they figured that Tim & Marie are already done and the other detour is quicker.

Afghanimals arrive... Jason & Amy pick another camel. It's approved, lol. They're done the detour in 3rd.

Tim & Marie can't see the tower... lol. Tim & Marie take their bags out of their car... They can't find the tower!!!

Jamal is knocked away by the camel.

Jason & Amy get to the U-Turn in 2nd! They decide not to use it.

Nicole gets 1 flag... but misses the 2nd one. She gets the 3rd one. One to go... She needs to get this last one... And she gets it. Travis is really proud of Nicole. ER Doctors finish the roadblock in 1st. Drive to the pit stop, Jebel Hafeet.

Jason & Amy arrive at the roadblock. Jason is going to do it. Jason's tall so this is easy.

Ally & Ashley say that they're really good at makeup and hair.

Nicky & Kim realize there's no way that Afghanimals could do this in 15 minutes.

Ally & Ashley's camel is approved. Wow. They're shocked that Afghanimals were U-Turned again, lol.

Afghanimals' food is approved. "I feel like Martha Stewart." They mix it all together and deliver it. They're done the detour and now they're proceeding to the roadblock.

Tim jumps for the flag and falls back into the raft. Marie: "Ha. He almost died." :funny: Tim finishes the roadblock. Tim & Marie are done in 3rd.

Ally & Ashley are lost. They went the wrong way...

Nicky & Kim's ingredients are approved. They deliver their food. They're out of the detour in last... And they go to the tower... And they see that they've been U-Turned by Tim & Marie. Now they have to do camel. They think that Exes U-Turn them because "they're mean."

Jason & Amy arrive at the pit stop. They're team #2 again, lol. Amy says that today was pure torture.

Afghanimals are at the roadblock. Ice girls arrive. Afghanimals are happy that they see their race wives.

Nicky & Kim arrive at the roadblock. They have to do their speedbump... In this speedbump, they have to make their way across a wave generating pool. The wave comes every 90 seconds. If they avoid wiping out and make it to the other side, they can continue racing.

Kim is afraid of heights... Nicky jumps in first... "Ninja." And the wave comes.

Nicky & Kim are finally done the speedbump.

Afghanimals arrive at the pit stop in 4th. Ally & Ashley arrive at the pit stop in 5th... Phil asks if there could be something going on... Afghanimals say that if they finish 1, 2 with Ally & Ashley, they could work something out.

Nicky & Kim are the last team to arrive... And now they've been eliminated. They thank Phil for the amazing time. Flashback of moments with them. Phil says that they expected Nicky & Kim to be crying, but they're not crying. Aww. :'( :'( :'(

Such a good episode tonight, I'm so sad to see Nicky&Kim going home... They grew on me so fast I didn't even notice it... I have now another reason to hate Tim&Marie, such a dumb way to use the last u-turn "the bunnies don't deserve to still be in the race" in comparition to Ashley&Ally?! How does that makes any sense?! Did anybody tell Marie that Revenge is a huge Karma and Karma is one of the main reasons a competent team doesn't win the final leg and the entire race?! It doesn't make sense!

Beside that Marie's choice, this was such a great episode, I felt so many emotions watching the bunnies struggling and getting over their fears and being a competent team finishing every task ahead of them... Probably they didn't do the roadblock though...

I'm mad and surprise because I didn't expect to feel this way about Nicky&Kim, I know they were not gonna win but I'm also happy because in the books they will be remember as the threat who was U-Turned by one of the strongest team in TAR23... :hrt:

Yes you did. It's a surprise that word didn't come from other media first and as of yesterday, there had been nothing on Amazon (as I've been expecting TAR 12 to come out any time now.) I am surprised to learn they are releasing post season 12 on DVD, as seasons 13 to 23 have been available for purchase and download from I-Tunes.

As to the episode, I loved it, especially having camels on TAR again. Great task and cute as heck. That was a horrendous leg for the Bunnies because they were faced with both a Speed Bump and a U-Turn, and their problems with the sand buggy and directions, and it was very obvious they were going out this leg.

Nicole-Travis no longer have their crutch of the express pass, so if they run into trouble, they could be out. I have to wonder what may come as to them and Lepo-Jamal going forward as a result of that U-Turn.

I loved the tasks they were great and challenging, except for maybe the wedding dinner task and the Speed Bump.

U-Turn Drama is always fun <3

But the linear did not suit well here. Teams were already spread apart which didn't really allow for many face offs or competition which I like seeing. And these types of legs almost guarantees that the last place team goes home with the speed bump.

I liked the Bunnies, I wish they would have stayed and Leo & Jamal were sent home.

And I didn't like how the U-Turn played out. Both of the U-Turns were personal, which I don't like. I like strategic ones.

And you have to love the camels <3

Anyways, I'm done venting. :funny:

Beside this sad elimination. This is a really good epidsode. All the tasks are awesome. I'm really happy because Nicky and Kim finished all the task. I don't know why CBS have to pull 7 person come back for the 3rd time while there're a lot of good teams from S19 to S23. :(

And Afganimals have grown in my list. Maybe they're annoying but they're a good competitor.

This episode was okay, but I didn't really feel the race love. The vast sand dunes of the Emirates worked well in the beginning and I wish they had just held the race there instead of driving to Al-Ain. Traveling in dune buggies would have been more challenging and emotionally irritated that it would make for good Race material. Having an Arab local get a clue down from a tree was so pointless. Why not let the teams poke down the clue with a very long stick? :res: But I guess TAR is too "high-maintenance" with their VIP teams now. Whatever (with an attitude).

DETOUR: Wedding And A Feast or Beauty With A Beast
These tasks were so race generic. It lacked much challenge and uniqueness. Chopping vegetables and deboning a chicken, that's basically simple cooking! Dressing up a camel was just as much challenge as making a bowl of instant soup.
DETOUR SCORE: 2/10

ROADBLOCK: Manmade whitewater rafting
A twist to TAR17's Kiruna husky dog sledding, this task proved how challenging it is to stay stable on the level 4 jet-propelled rapids. Some did find it easier than others, but remained a slight challenge to Nicole, Ally, and Nicky. By the way, has anyone noticed that the Detour always comes before a Roadblock this season?
ROADBLOCK SCORE: 7/10

SPEED BUMP: (Nicky & Kim) Swim through wave generating pool
I like this extra task, it's a little challenging, but still quick. However, I'd tweak where Nicky & Kim had to start to swim by having them swim towards the charging waves to make it more emotionally challenging for them. :lol:

I mean, they just got lost running around aimlessly, so obviously the only way to give themselves a cushion would be to U-Turn the team that you know is behind you and that you know still has to perform the Speedbump. Man! the speed bump looks physically though!

-EP usage was okay-good. They didn't have any other choices anyway, besides the roadblock.
-U-turn was somehow personal :crazy: , but as long it's used, it's alright. It's better than those that are unused/wasted like the u-turn in TAR19Leg7.
-Navigation drama. :conf:
-Roadblock looks cool to me. 8)
-Speedbump was okay-good. The wave coming every 90 seconds is... good. :colors
-Sad to see the bunnies go. :( I wish I could see them race again.
-Jamy still 2nd. :funny: Their pit stop moment with Phil was :lol: .
-Ice Girls finishing between the u-turn victims again (with Afghanimals ahead of them).
-Afghanimals survived 2 u-turns. Very impressive to me. :umn: They finish 3rd to the last with Ice Girls and other u-turn victim behind them.
-Ice Girls are... holding a record? :crazy: 6th, 7th, 7th, 7th, 7th, 6th, 5th, 5th Then when I remembered about the Afghanimals roadblock mistake during Leg 1, I realized that the Ice Girls would've have a 7th in the 1st leg. :funny: :funny: :funny:
-Ice Girls are underdogs. They're not really a strong team, not even close to one. They just got lucky that they made it to the F5. I wonder how far they'll go. ;) :keeta:
