I think we have series similar to The Mole! Interestingly enough, it's airing on ABC, the same channel that aired The Mole. It's basically the same as The Mole, but way creepier. :lol:
The premise (copied from Wikipedia):
The series will follow 13 investigators living in a mansion, Rue Manor, where one of the investigators is the "killer". A "murder" will take place around which the players will base their investigation using CSI technology and establishing pacts among one another. At the end of each episode, each player, in a private video confession, will explain how the murder took place. During dinner, each investigator will receive an envelope. Those who deduced most accurately receive a card saying "Spared", while those doing the worst receive a card saying "Scared" and will be up for elimination. During the night, the "killer" will "murder" one of the "Scared" players, eliminating them from the game, and setting up the "murder" for the next episode. In the finale, the investigator to correctly solve the identity of the "killer" wins $250,000.

Exhilarating and suspenseful <333 I'm just wondering how they got the person in the morgue. Was that the real Sherri and did she breathe or anything? I think she was a decoy/fake player in the game just so they had the opening murder scene.
Who do you guys think is the murderer? My initial guess was Melina just out of observation, but unless she knows how to shed crocodile tears, her crying at dinner kinda gave me second thoughts.
Pretty sure these contestants had to pass the acting test to be on this show. :lol: But I'm wondering how they set up these murders. Do they really 'perform' it with the murderer and the victim really being at the designated places at the specific times (as in Sherri and murderer in the showers, or do they skip all those parts and directly work on giving Sherri the realistic make-up).

My guess for the killer are:
1)Dana
She was the only one that knows that if the spinal cord at the back of the neck is injured, it is fatal. She also said that she is 'done' with Dontae after she found out he told people about the muskat.
2)Adrinna
The person firing the slingshot is left-handed if you rewatched it and Adrinna pulled up her card using her left hand.
3)Geno
He is a bar trivia host. It would made sense to kill Sheri because she broke her champaign glass and it offends Geno. Thus, making him want to kill her.
4)Don
At the beginning, he has an interview about him being a cop and he said 'I want them to think that I am the same as them'. Don could also made himself look unsuspicious by giving himself a scarred card.
5)Ulysses
He, Dana and Dontae made a deal about not telling anybody about the muskat and when he found out, he says that if he is the killer, he would kill Dontae next.
6)Ronnie
When Ulysses, told what he 'found' in the morgue, he asked whether or not that he should just drown Dontae in the pool and technically, that's how Dontae died later in the episode.

Referring to people as mortals? Ulysses was a Greek hero (whatever, close enough)
The Second King? Ulysses was a king of Ithaca.
The killer also killed because she spilt her drink, and Melina is a flight attendant who serves drinks and cleans up after people etc

Cris ~ first person to speak i think, and it was to talk to Sheri, and she also pointed at the iron thing
Dana ~ that 'kids on time out' comment and when they toasted, she didn't look so eager
Adrianna ~ accurately guessed Ronnie and Don's occupations, as if she knew them all along & gave that welcome speech. no one but the murder knew that killing was involved at that moment, so it'd be easy for them to miss that
Don ~ that 'i wanna be like them' comment
Melina ~ when the butler showed up she used the phrase 'dead man walking', like she had the impression death was involved when they didn't know that it was about murder yet
Ulysses ~ stood next to Sheri at the back when she dropped her glass. he said something about it but i could not make the words out. Ronnie also said something
And about Adrianna and the slingshot, at the room where she theorizes how the murder went down, she acted out that she was using a slingshot. Does anyone remember which hand she used? She is my fave player and for a first eppy a lot of fingers were pointed at her as the murderer, but it's still possible.

I rewatched it again and it shows Adrinna using her right hand.
I also have another theory that Adrinna is the killer and that is she suspected Dontae of being the killer which I thought was very weird because you could not see Adrinna being very close to Dontae and she did not specify her reasons in any of her confessions.
The same could be applied to Melinda(?) saying Cris is the killer.
This could be proved accurate by the next episode if Adrinna suspected the next person to be killed.
But I feel the editing is showing Adrinna to be the killer, thus, I don't think think the editing crew will make the killer so obvious.

I noticed that during the broadcast of how Dontae was killed, the pajamas was tied by RED ribbons. When the fire alarm rang, everybody got out and guess who have red ribbons tied to her hair: Sasha and Dana.
I believed Dana to be the killer since by giving Ulysses the first impression blah blah. It could mean that she is impressed by how he can jump ship so quickly or since she is supposedly be hating Ulysses, it would be weird to be impressed by Ulysses and throw attention off her.
But when I think about it, I think everybody got red ribbons so maybe Dana and Sasha just coincidentally tied that to their hair.

Lindsey and Cris are my top suspects. These people are seeing something in Cris that I feel the show isn't showing us, at least not explicitly.

My number 1 suspect right now is Lindsay, since she has missed the clue twice now, and still stayed alive. It also could be Melina, because if all that crying is on cue, she would be an amazing killer.

Ok, after this episode, the only I can do now at this show is :res:. I mean, the next victim is killed by a cougar! Could they not think of a better way to kill someone? Also, the people of this show are trying to make it Survivor or Big Brother. They try to not hurt others before helping themselves, hence the alliance war this episode. Right now, I'll still watch the show to end because of its interesting concept, but I hope the deaths become a little more realistic in future episodes.

Melina had like the exact same reaction to every death, every opening of envelopes. My suspects for now are Dana, Ulysses and Geno. Cris's reaction to her Spared card in the latest episode, in which she sweared was too real. My initial suspect was also Lindsey but Geno mention how Adrinna and Dontae was with Lindsey and afterwards were killed which just show me that editing is making us think Lindsey is the killer.

Still banking on Lindsey or Cris to be the killer, with Melina as the third (and my initial prime suspect).
This episode had more sabotage edits than the last few. Or at least they were more evident. Still can't find any hidden clues in the eppies. They could be really minute. :crazy:
And I notice how as the murders go on these players seem more and more neutral with the thought of impending death. :lol: But they also seem to become more sarcastic and negative-thinking. :(

Lol, the cougar looked confused in the regular filmed version when the camera pointed to it.
I was watching missed episodes on ABC and all I have to say is, wow. The cinematography and "reactions" of the murder scenes were stunning! :colors Especially the "murders" with realistic plaster and make-up. LOVE the make-up artists on this show! What really upsets me is how Whodunnit is turning into a mini-version of Big Brother with Team Kam and Team Ronnie. :res: I watched to see how everyone recreates the accuracy of the murders, not people trying to put others down by undisclosing vital information. I give it four stars for now.

From day one I guessed Melina or Melissa (not sure of her name) because she acted like she was acting as her reactions looked staged. Also she has been staying under the radar though on the first episode they showed her a lot. I am pretty certain she is the mole.

If she's the Killer, now would be the best time to win that Clue-finding game, because if Cris is the Killer I think Cris has done that (win two clues in a row in order to give Team Kam the upper hand so that people won't be suspicious of her by saying 'she doesn't have that vital info, how is she Spared?' etc.
If I have to choose, I'd say Lindsey isn't the Killer out of the three, and that she was just the perfect scapegoat for the producers to put the spotlight on her because she was in that swinging position.

Kinda weird but after seeing constant images of those suits of armour throughout the series, a few weeks ago I was beginning to speculate that the killer would rig one of them up to shoot somebody! :lol3: I wish they did that earlier on though - would've been fun to investigate. :P

You are right. There really is no point in having the Killer be amongst the group if the Killer didn't have to put hints out there and the answer for who the people think is the Killer was useless in tallying the score.
imo this finale was anything but unpredictable, except for the policemen. :funny:

That her dad was a cop? Or maybe after rewatching it, when everyone was at the sofa area chatting, with Kam's confessional VO, Cris didn't seem to be there. That she proposed the toast to explore the house? Or was that Twitter post completely unrelated?!

The foyer clue was that she knows how to use guns and also about she rides horses and some stuff like that. I don't know, but she said this in her Q&A she did after the finale in Twitter. ;)
About the finale, I didn't like that the challenge determined the winner, but it was very entertaining to watch. I agree with you guys that the accusations of who the Killer is should at least be a factor on who the winner should be. Lindsey should've won though, IMO. :(

It is very bizarre. Making the accusations each week seemed to serve no purpose... :(
But regardless, I REALLY want a Season 2! This is the only show on TV that combines my two favourite genres - reality and crime/procedural. :P

They revealed in a later interview that all 3 finalists completed the final challenge at different times so no copying and waiting for clue stations would occur. This means that Lindsay would have still gone to the library and met the knight. :lol:

"Although never officially cancelled, when ABC announced their summer schedule Whodunnit failed to appear, thus leaving viewers to the assumption of a cancellation."
Hopefully that's not the case, but it certainly doesn't look good at least for this summer... :(

Wouldn't surprise me if it was cancelled, but I would have loved to see another season. There was a lot of potential and with improvements, it would be great. :(

I'm still holding on hope. What if ABC turns it into a regular and not summer show as a surprise in the future? :P
This show was definitely going to be "The Mole" of the 2010s, and I would like at least one or two more seasons! :P

I don't know if it would do well in a regular schedule with a lot more competition, but it was certainly a great summer show - hopefully they are just taking a break and revisit it at some point!

I hope that if the show has season 2, guessing who the murder is will be an important factor to decide who win. I love the first season. But the fact Kam won over Lindsay was just suck.

Totally Agree with you! Kam was way too cocky!
The improvements they need to make are related to how the audience looked at the show. So many of us saw clues where there weren't any such as the Iron Maiden, Kam and Melina's names and meaning. They need to make it more cohesive with clues and audience participation through watching the show, not just how someone got it. they need to put some of their creativity out there and takes us on a wild ride!

As I remember, the last episode, they just played a game about everything happened and until then Kam was still wrong about the killer. He was just faster then the other two.

Yep - he also won the advnatage and had one less station to go to during the game, which was really big in hindsight.

I watched the 1st and only season over a year ago, and I'm still hoping for a 2nd season until today.
