Both Miami and DFW have a skytrain. I suspect it's Dallas given the other sightings. From her other tweets, Natalie is returning from Costa Rica. She mentions flying through Miami on her way to Costa Rica last week, but that doesn't rule out going through DFW on her way home.

Well, I had the fun of pretending to be Chateau at DFW. I was there at the arrival gate from LAX, rode on the Skylink train with one team and then saw the teams at the departure gate. There were 4 teams on this flight. I was there for over an hour, so I'm pretty sure there were only four. The teams were (with my nicknames for them):
Team Ducky Dynasty - Mid/late 40's men with scraggly beards and a few tattoos. They look like characters from the tv show Duck Dynasty. One was tall and thin. The other was average size.
Team Boston Strong - Young couple with turquoise "Boston Strong" shirts. The guy was tall and olive complected (looked maybe of Italian descent) and the girl was shorter with dark hair. They were very fit. I did not see any obvious scars or injuries from the Boston bombing.
Team Middle Aged Couple - Mid/late 40's couple, short, and possibly Hispanic (darker complected). The woman had a flower in her hair.
Team Young Men - Two young men, no more than 25 years old. One guy was tall, thicker built, with very pale skin. The other guy was shorter, more muscular, and fairly tan complected. I rode on the train with these two so I saw them the most.

I know a little Spanish. Not enough to to speak it or translate text on my own, but enough that I think I can catch big translating errors. However, feel free to fix any translation I put up. I won't mind at all. I use Google because it's easy and I can get something halfway acceptable up and move on to the next items to be found.

There was a mild quake this morning in Central Chile. It was felt in Santiago like a 4ish degree quake at 6:41am local time. It was a 5.1 in Valparaiso. For earthquake experts, that means Phil might have been in a high rise building.

This is the route she helped figure out in Iquique (even though I'm missing whatever went on at the docks):
Iquique Airport IQQ to paragliding taking-off in the town of Alto Hospicio (outside of Iquique and 1500 feet above it. I already provided a pic of the taking-off strip), some landed at Huayquique Beach and some at Brava Beach (depending on air currents), then on to the Centenary (Centennial) Market and on to Zofri (which is a shopping mall) and finally on to Prat Plaza (the 4 sided 4 different times clock :-)).

Well, yes they're already in Lisbon because according to the locator of that weblink, it said Hotel Altis below and its a hotel and spa company in Portugal. So they're already racing to that country right now after the Chile leg and that'll be the 2nd time to visit there since TAR 3.

I'm not sure if this is relevant (because a cap is a silly thing to go by), but I saw a man wearing an Amazing Race cap in Sintra, Portugal on Mon 13 May. Was thinking nothing about it until Portugal came up as a possibility for this season. It seems that the cap is not for sale - suggesting he could be a member of production, but could someone bother to verify?
I was at Sintra train station on a bus to Cabo da Roca (for my TAR pilgrimage, of which I've just successfully completed the entirety of Season 3!), and he showed up just before my bus pulled away. I think the next bus in that time-frame went up to the castles on the hillside.
This lies somewhere between spoiler and speculation; I'll put it here for now!
(Note that Portugal has been a popular spot for sequester as well.)

I got a reply from YYYYYYYYY that indicated that he didn't know where they were going to from Lisbon.
As for the times, as best I can construct it, these are the times (all times West Coast US Pacific Standard Time)
The original post with the sighting by XXXXXXXX was at about 5 AM yesterday.
The follow up sighting message by YYYYYYYY was at about 1:50 AM today.
My first question was at around 6:50 AM today with the answer from XXXXXXXX at about 8:00 AM today.
My second question was at about 8:45 AM and the reply by XXXXXXXX was shortly after that.

At around 4:00 AM on Friday, June 14, I ran into the what I think was the Amazing Race at the Santiago airport. A friend and I went over to talk to them and asked what they were doing. They said they were filming a travel documentary about going places, but that just seemed like a cover story - some of the contestants were clearly uncomfortable talking about it. They said they didn't know where they were going next, but I later found a few contestants sitting at a gate for a flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Unfortunately, I don't know how many teams there were in total. I think there were four (maybe five) teams there while we were checking in, but to be honest, I'm not really sure. Our flight ended up getting delayed four hours, so I had some time to explore. While I was roaming the terminal in search of food, I came across another team just coming through security at around 9:30-10:00 (although to be honest, this is a rough estimate). I didn't recognize that team from before (nor the team being interviewed at the gate), so that makes the total six or seven teams that I saw. Don't quote me on that, though, as I was running on less than an hour of sleep and distracted by my excitement at traveling with the Amazing Race - something I've actually always wanted to happen since elementary school.
Also, it turns out the blonde woman with pink tips is from the same town (Morristown, NJ) as I am! The team with the guys in blue were from Oklahoma, and I recall there was another from Chicago. For what it's worth, I don't think there were any from California; my friend is California, and I remember her expressing disappointment that none of them shared her home state.

So I just had to wait a little longer in the terminal which was ok, especially since there were cameramen in the terminal following some people around. It was only when I saw the backpacks and matching colours of some of the people they were following that I thought it could be the Amazing Race, but it was very calm so I thought maybe not as they are always rushing from what you see on tv. I asked a guy with a clipboard if it was the Amazing Race and he said yes it was the latest season which is 23, so as a person who has watched all 22 races before this I was really excited to be witness to this. I have always dreamt of being somewhere in the world and seeing teams on their race, but I had never come across any of them unfortunately until now!
It was funny watching them all. There were about 6 teams that I could see in my terminal: 2 brunette girls in orange/pink, 2 big African American guys who looked like they belonged in the NFL, a couple wearing Boston strong gear, 2 guys from Oklahoma, a husband and wife team who were a little older and another older guy but I didn’t know who he was with
. So it was really interesting as a fan of the show to just sit and watch them. From my view of what was happening I think the race had just started maybe even that day. The teams were introducing themselves and were getting to know each other so it seemed like at this point no one was pissing anyone off. I have a feeling from my observations that Boston strong and the Oklahoma boys will be in an alliance though as they seemed to be getting along and were sitting together more than with any of the others. Watching them all size each other up was really interesting. It was also awesome to see them mid race and looking at the route info blue coloured clue thing that they get as they race. It was really surreal for a tv show lover like me so I was really excited to see more exciting things on another American trip. It made my plane issues more bearable at least.
I also saw someone else who was a celebrity in the terminal, but I have no idea who he is. I assume he is a sports person based on how he looked. People were asking him for photos and autographs, but I really wasn’t sure who he was and it wasn’t like I could ask him who he was. So hopefully the photo I snapped of him someone here at camp can tell me who it is and then I can tell you who he is. But still cool all the same.

I asked her about it and she said teams had to earn something around 50 zlotys. She said there was a F/F team that was doing it and they were successful and there was also apparently a "father/son" team. (I am not sure who that might be). She also said there were spots for 8 teams and that the "father/son" team were saying something about a "U-Turn".

To be a little more specific than the blog, that picture that Peach just posted is of the "Monument to the Fallen Shipyard Workers of 1970 in Gdańsk" from a picture at Wikipedia that matches it. It commemorates the 42 or more people killed during the Coastal cities events in December 1970.

2.30 PM (GMT+8) my iPad was buzzing with sound-alerts a couple times, curious with what's going on, I checked my Inbox and Peach already spamming me from all possible social network streams and emails...
"Hurry Get to LIVE! There's a sighting and they're in Bandung!"
What?!? I suffer an immediate-shockwave all over my body and mind for a second and at first I doubt it because they just went here two seasons in a row out of three times visit..
But, anyway, I told her that I'm still at work and will investigate this later in the evening...

It was confirmed that Phil in Bandung (thanks to Neobie - Doublechecked by lutpayy)

I launched an immediate urgent call to TAR Indonesian Fans Group
"Calling all units in Bandung... I repeat calling all units in Bandung, TAR has just confirmed to be there with Phil's sighting at the hotel, anyone with spare-time and available to check please call me, thanks.."
not long after that, in 20 minutes I have gathered 5 people (including one that came far away from Sukabumi (5hours) from Bandung))
we decided to break up into several teams :
- ZouLy : taking over the main communication control station
- mellodoo and zegha : going to train station and some possible historical and touristic places that night..
- doodledee : going to hussein (BDO) airport and later join with others at train station
- aryantseoseno : preparing to go to Bandung (5hours journey) hoping that teams will race tomorrow..

Now, onto the task, it was spec'd that this has got something to do with local cultures, Goat-Fight or Ram-Fight whatever, either :
1. Teams have to choose one marked pick-up car and bring the Goats to the arena,
2. Teams only retrieved the Clues which was hanging across the rope at the other end of the arena, while they crossing the goats are fighting in the middle...

This season's detour feature two choices that are not culturally relevant, it was located at the city zoo and the famous Dago intersection...
We didn't get to saw them doing the tasks, but again, we have documented the post-production of the scene...
But according to some eyewitnesses, the choice are between :
1. Taking the wheelbarrow and went inside the zoo to feed and clean elephant's cage
2. Bringing some Fruits and Trees (sugarcane and/or bamboo) to the market...
From doodledee's report, there are only 2 wheelbarrows left up until all the production and crews are gone...
Then we can spec that 3 teams doing the Wheelbarrow task, and the other two doing the "bring fruits & trees" task..

This time, their cameraman and soundguy really angry to us.. (:;) so we don't get a chance to take a picture,...
But at this point, the second team who finished the Roadblock is Boston strong Team, so now they're in second place heading to the Pit Stop!
minutes later, there's a car parked with production labelled as "VIP Executive Producer"
and guess what?!?

Now, for the Roadblock itself, we can't have access to enter the site as it was blocked by production..
But from what we learned, the task might involve figuring out the notes (Do,Re,Mi,Fa,So,La,Si,Do) that came from the traditional music instrument called 'Angklung',
The Angklung itself played by the children and teams have to search through them and line them up according to the correct notes..

Again, unfortunately, the location for the Pit Stop guarded by a super-duper tight security, so our units can't go and peek what's happening inside...

We don't know for sure whether it's an Elimination or Non-Elimmination Leg yet..
But as our units observed there, there's a chance that the last team survived the leg, this is based on some scenarios :
1. The Leg is clearly a NEL
2. Tim & Marie and the Interracial Couple arrived at the Pit Stop NOT BY A TAXI, this could possibly resulted in a penalty for both teams..
3. Usually having 2 Legs in the same country and final 5 could be a NEL or TBC
Okay folks... pheww.. :whew that's all I can sum for yesterday's leg...
After all teams checked-in, I told the units that if you wanna have some revenge for your hardwork today, go to Phil's hotel and take a picture him... and they DID..!!! they went to the hotel, met Phil, have a chit-chat and took photos...
look at aryantsoeseno's avatar is so cool... 8) :lol:
For the second leg in Indonesia, I can't really guarantee much, because our on-the-ground team has skipped their work yesterday, so no one can play the hide and seek again today :( ,
but be grateful and thankful to our awesomecrediblymazing team in INDONESIA!!!
We will never let you disappointed RFF..!! (unless it's out of our control.. :lol: )

yesterday was awesome!
I can't wait to watch the leg whether I was captured by the camera or not...
it's quite hard to maintain the stalking coz the traffic was really awful but luckily, we knew where to go and miraculously we were able to slip in and out at the traffic just to follow the team's taxi
I knew they were looking at me, like warned us not to follow...
but who cares? hahahahha
that was epic yesterday...great stalk, great merchandise :yess: :yess:

This is my first post. I live in Juneau and glad to have Juneau on the TAR map.
I have tried for the last two days to register so I could post this information but was having difficulty.
This is what I know about the race in Juneau on Tuesday from talking to people who witnesses events:
From the airport, the racers took taxis to the Douglas Island Boat harbor and were loaded into 3 Jet boats.
My co-worker’s wife called at 1:30pm, Alaska time, and informed him the racers just went by their boat and were loading onto jet boats. These boats took them up the Taku River south of town.
I talked to someone who drove one of the jetboats up the Taku River but he could not say where. It said he had to keep quiet about the details and could not discuss it. It would take about an hour to get to the Taku River lodge, a favorite tourist spot. Tourists are flown to the lodge by float plane. I would guess they did some task at the lodge or on one of the Glaciers around the river.
A round trip back to the harbor would have been 2-3 hours max. My Wife and Son were now at the harbor waiting for the racers to return and they never return. They never saw the boats return. One of my friends had arrived at the harbor now and was talking with the crew and they said they were shooting a commercial. At the 3 hour mark since the racers had left, the production crew that was hanging around finally left the harbor. My friend followed them and they went to the airport and the Alaska Seaplanes hanger. They were in three cars and he was the second car in line, they tried to lose him several times by stopping along the road letting him go by. He would go by and then just wait for them to go again. Finally, the lead car turned down a one-way street the wrong way to try to lose him. It did not work and he was able to stay with them until they arrived at the hanger. They crew went inside the hanger and he did not see them. He assumed they boarded float planes to fly to Hoonah. He left. It was around 4pm.
The next I heard of the location of the racers was in Hoonah on the zip line. Hoonah is 40 flight miles from Juneau and the racers would have had to get there by plane or helicopter. They would have not taken the Jet boats to Hoonah. It would be a 4-5 hour boat ride. Almost 70 miles by water. I am thinking they transferred to the float planes at the lodge or a water transfer in Taku inlet. Never heard where they went after the zip line.
At 6pm, I left work and was determine to find the finish line. I had several ideas that would make a great finish line. Mendenhall glacier, Shine of Saint Teresa, Echo Cove (End of the Road), Glacier Gardens, The top of the Tram, Cope Park.
Went to all these locations and nothing. No sign of the racers or crew or anything.
Juneau hosted 5 large cruise ships in port yesterday, so if the racers were downtown, someone would have seen them. Nothing.
The one spot I did not think of until now is The Last Chance Mining Museum at Gold Creek. This is a very historical spot where gold mining took place. It is behind the town of Juneau tuck away in a valley. It has a 1 mile road to get to the creek and then a 200ft foot bridge to go across the creek to the mining ruins against the mountain.
Still no word of the racers or what happened this morning. I will keep posting when I learn of my news! Happy 4th everyone!

Just talked to a friend who had a friend on the flight from Seattle to Juneau. They were sitting next to a male/female pair and the female was a blonde with red tips.. The friend asked them if they were visiting someone in Juneau. They said they were shooting a commercial here. When the friend asked them what the commercial was about, they said they weren't sure and they would be told when they landed. The friend thought that was a little odd.
Then they asked, if she knew where they could find the "Lady in the Red Hat at the airport". She did not know. I don't know about the "Lady in the Red Hat" but I am going to the Airport tonight to find out!!

Had a 10-hour layover in Dubai and decided to spend 8 of those hours in buses to, from, and around Abu Dhabi to scope out the legs there... Didn't actually end up with too much time to work with, and only managed to check out two locations, but they were promising ones!
Yas Marina Circuit is a confirmed location. All the staff were professional and extremely tight-lipped, but sometimes you can tell the difference between a genuine "I don't know about any television filming" and a lie. And some people don't lie very well. ;)
Teams were racing the Radical SST, which usually costs a cool AED1200 (US$326) to drive. The vehicle has two seats, with one reserved for a coach, so we can be pretty sure it's a Roadblock (or a Fast Forward exactly like TAR 15?) for one of the legs.
The Heritage Village has great views of the Abu Dhabi skyline and is close to two of TPTB's favourite hotel chains (the Hilton and the Intercontinental), making it a likely site for a visit. Didn't get anything out of the staff there, but one security officer at the gate was so intensely sure he didn't know anything that I suspect something is up. I'm guessing Pit Stop.
Another location that would make a good second Pit Stop is the Liwa Oasis outside of town. I didn't have the time to visit, but it seems like exactly the kind of place production would choose in an attraction-starved town like Abu Dhabi. This is entirely speculation (albeit an intelligent guess), but mark my words!

This came up in a casual conversation with someone tangentially related to production, and he/she offered two locations: the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. Since the Mosque came up in the opening sequence, there's a chance we'll see the Emirates Palace too?
Jahili Fort means they are going to al-Ain, a city on the border with Oman. (It's still within Abu Dhabi Emirate, similar to Niagara being in New York State but away from New York City.) Famous for its desert and camel market (which was recently relocated to a very modern complex behind a shopping mall). If they don't return to Abu Dhabi city that same leg, the Pit Stop should be easy to predict: either the fort or somewhere in the desert.

If we go by shirt colors the one on the left is probably Amy (light blue) the two on the right are Nicole&Travis (similar hight, dark blue)
But to be honest, this pic always looked strange to me, at the moment they never look like our racers to me... and I'm still not sure about it...
