Angie: Great song choice and... loved the tender moments from the beginning, and the note at the end was AMAZING.

Angie AND Lazaro: Lazaro forgot the LYRICS again. Thank goodness Angie saved him. Poor Angie. Hopefully when Lazaro gets eliminated, Lazaro's fans will go to Angie. And whoever chose this song for them to sing as duet should be shot.

Kree: Great vocals, but she was pitchy? Really pitchy at some point. And she chose a song that majority of the age group don't know or haven't heard before. The audience response tells... I didn't like it as much as the judges did.

Candice: That was so boring... just good vocals... but she's losing that X factor and I agree with Nicki, I fell asleep with that song. There was very little attitude... :(

Amber: Great song choice, REALLY good vocals but I felt something missing from the song . Like, the attitude, the OOOOOMPPPPPPPHHHHHHHH factor? However, she picked a really recognizable song which will be some extra votes as well.

Amber, Janelle and Kree: Sorry, Amber killed the song. The other two were really boring. The song was boring. Why do we even need a rock week?

Burnell and Candice: Burnell started and killed the song. Then Candice came in and killed Burnell. Best duet of the night.

Burnell: Great song choice. I really enjoyed his performance. It was stellar and I think he did the song justice. He was neither off pitch and caught the tempo of the song really well. He didn't make the song his own but he didn't kill it either.

Lazaro: I think he did it justice, it was decent. BUT everyone of all ages know the song, but he didn't BLOW US AWAY with the song.

I think it's sad to watch the deterioration of Lazaro. He started with such promise! His song was in the wrong key for him and he began badly. He did pick it up as he got into the song but the song was arranged badly for him. It's something that happens every year on AI and I don't know why they don't fix this flaw. It's also becoming a huge embarrassment that he forgets or never learns the words to the songs and his fellow contestants have to carry him along.
I didn't agree with the judges, I thought Burnell sang well and I thought this was a good song for him, and that he's getting better and better. What do I know? ???
Amber sang well, really well and Janelle wasn't as strong as usual but the judges loved her.
Kree is Kree. Outstanding every time she sings but this wasn't her best performance. Probably because she was in a lot of pain. She is a star and will be a huge star.
Candice is great, I love her and she too will have a career after AI.
I hope tonight is the night that Lazaro is put out of his misery but I don't see it happening. Sad to say.

That's it. I think we can solidify our Final 2 for this year's American Idol to be both Angie and Kree.
And Lazaro being in the Top 3 is a huge insult too. Way too huge an insult.
Janelle and Amber are in danger if they don't think of ways to buck up their performance. In fact, Janelle may be gone in 6th place next week if Lazaro's votes continue to go crazy with all the tone deaf people in America.
And besides for Lazaro, I'm glad American Idol doesn't have any shock eliminations so far. ALL the guys deserve to go before the girls. :)

So far, I've got the elimination of Paul, Devin and Burnell accurately predicted. And this is how I think the rest of the season will go:
6th: Lazaro (He is toast next week, Janelle's fans will go crazy and start voting)
- If he's not gone next week, the shock elimination will belong to Amber for sure, which the judges will then use the SAVE, making Lazaro go in 6th yet again.
5th: Janelle (If Amber OR Candice has a shock elimination next week, then they most probably will have TWO eliminations the following week, of which Lazaro and Janelle are toast)
3rd/4th: Amber or Candice, depending if the judges actually start giving Amber better comments and start complaining that Candice is predictable/boring/lacked X factor yada yada
2nd: Kree (Janelle's fans will ALLLLLL go to her)
1st: Angie (I would love to say the judges and Nigel are pushing for Angie to win. I'm serious... not that I'm complaining. BUT, IT'S OBVIOUS!)
Yay at AI finally having female winner and all-female F5 POSSIBLY. PLEASE.

Lazaro being in the top three IS an insult. I could not believe it when Ryan announced it. Our neighbors probably heard me screaming NO!!!! Not only are people tone deaf, they are missing quite a few screws.

I feel American Idol is doing an injustice with Lazaro. He is not ready emotionally or ability to be in this spotlight. This is going to crush him. With a brilliant son with autism, I feel I can honestly say STOP VOTING FOR LAZARO!
Why are people voting for him when he doesn't even remember the Lyrics? American Idol should have an automatic elimination if you forget your lyrics.
I also agree the winner will be Angie or Kree. I have thought of Angie winning from the beginning but she does need to do something with her hair. Done letting off steam... :hoot:

I honestly think we have been too critical on Lazaro. It is not our fault that Lazaro is still here. The judges have chances to eliminate him but they didn't. America kept him in. He is to be blamed for forgetting the lyrics.

I feel sorry for Lazaro. He was a better singer when he first started and relied on his own instincts. They are not helping him with the advice he's been given. However, I also think he is somewhat lazy and probably he's been given a lot of leeway because of the stuttering and this is not been helpful for him either. If he really wants to have a career he has to do more and yes, stop making excuses for himself.

Wow, I can't believe that 4 guys went out consecutively. I'm wondering if anyone rigged this season to make it so obvious that the girls are heads and shoulders above the guys? I mean, none of the guys even had the potential to win it, NONE, how can it be?
Having said that, I'm not complaining. It's time for a girl to win. High time.
