IMPORTANT! Even though we are a spoiler board, we do NOT want to have the episode spoiled while it is airing.

This will be more important than ever this season since Canada will be airing ahead of us any week we have Sports delays>>like this one! We are anticipating about a 20-30 min delay tonight.

SO!! If you are watching anything but an EST US feed, it is your responsibility to be sure you are not ahead of us if you want to post/update in this thread. Other feeds may be way ahead of us.

SO PLEASE ** NO OUTCOMES ** to be posted before the show is done airing East Coast time!

Anyone breaking the rule is at risk of being banned. :browsie:

And NO future spoilers either!

7 teams raced from Hanoi to Botswana.

Chuck & Wynona got to a slow start signing up for the last flight. Wynona had to step up and do the roadblock... Joey freaked out at the roadblock. At the detour, Bates & Anthony did fire and they ended up getting first.

Chuck's hunting skills helped Chuck & Wynona get their highest placement so far. :hearts:

Max & Katie came in last but were spared elimination.

7 teams remain... who will be eliminated next?

Joey & Meghan depart at 6:23 AM.

Caroline & Jennifer depart at 6:28 AM. They talk about how important their faith is.

Mona & Beth depart at 6:37 AM.

Max & Katie depart at 6:49 AM. Max says they've been underperforming... They can't find the cars.

Mona & Beth see that Caroline & Jennifer have been pulled over by a police officer. 820 pula... they have to go pay the fine today at the police office! :o

Max & Katie ARE STILL LOOKING FOR THEIR CAR. :groan: They finally find it. :groan:

Yay linear legs. :res: They find out that they have to waterski a mile on crocodile infested waters... Bates is worried... There's a sign. Bates asks about the crocodile situation. The driver tells them that there were no crodiles when he checked last night... They get into the water. Anthony is much better at waterskiing than Bates. :lol3:

"Gosh... are we there yet?" I thought Pam & Winnie were lost for a second but nope. They're at the roadblock. "FAST FORWARD!" But they're second so they're doing the roadblock.

Roadblock: Deliver goats upriver in a traditional boat to a goat pen. Then travel back down a river to receive their clue. The team member doing the roadblock will be rowing while the other team member holds the goats.

Winnie is doing the roadblock. Pam: "The goat is peeing all over my leg." :lol3:

Bates & Anthony won the fast forward. :res: :res: :res: The boat driver will drive them to a safari taxi who will take them to the pit stop, Royal Tree Lodge. Bates got to take his shirt off... he shows off his body. :lol3:

Caroline & Jennifer have to pay their speeding ticket... but the police officers won't take American money.

Chuck & Wynona reach the cluebox.

Wynona is doing the roadblock. The goats run away from her. :lol3: The locals have to help her get a goat that ran off the boat. :lol3:

Mona & Beth arrive at the roadblock.

Joey & Meghan are lost.

Caroline can't leave the police station. Jennifer gave a man $100 to exchange into pula... She hopes he will return... Commercial.

Beth is doing the roadblock. They're in weeds. Beth yelled after Mona gave her instructions.

Max & Katie see Joey & Meghan behind. They arrive at the roadblock... But there's the speedbump!

Speedbump: Finish making a skirt and then perform a ceremonial dance.

Joey does the roadblock.

Pam & Winnie get the detour clue. Brains or brawn...

Brains: Go on a horseback safari looking for 10 animal cutouts. Then they have to organize the tiles in the order the cut-outs appear.

Brawn: Stack firewood onto a traditional sled. Then they have to convince donkeys to deliver the wood with a carrot... omg. :lol3:

Pam & Winnie pick donkey. Chuck & Wynona pick horse.

Wynona: "You look handsome in your hat up there." :hrt:

Caroline & Jennifer pick donkey. Mona & Beth pick donkey.

Joey & Meghan get on the water taxi. They're about 5 minutes ahead of Max & Katie.

Mona & Beth are about to deliver their firewood... but then their donkeys get out of control! Caroline & Jennifer have out of control donkeys as well.

Mona & Beth are off to the pit stop! Caroline & Jennifer are off to the next pit stop too. Mona & Beth sprint to the pit stop! They're team #2! :hearts: Caroline & Jennifer arrive soon after. They're team #3.

As to the preview, looks to me like it is a switchback, just that this time, there was all snow on the ground. The last time we saw cheese, the soil was muddy and soft from snow melt, so it had to be the difference in the time of year of filming.

TAR 22 was filmed about two weeks later into November than TAR 14, and that could be enough to have snow in Europe, especially in Switzerland.

That could help explain exactly how bad M/J's navigational skills are. And based on the preview, Wynona probably will regret not taking one of the running Detours instead of saving Chuck for a climbing one. Unless there's another shocking surprise, I think Chuck & Wynona are the ones that will be eliminated next leg.

LOL at all of you complaining about linear legs and it ended up being the best episode this season! So much drama and suspense! I was literally on the edge of my seat at the end. SO shocked that Pam & Winnie are out, and also disappointed because they were strong, smart and funny - one of my favourite teams that were left. OH WELL anyway the FF was decent, RB was challenging but could've been more interesting, and a very photogenic Detour DONKEYS <333333333 I'm loving this season, it's so unpredictable and it's been such a fun ride! Can't wait for Europe!

For what it's worth, and I don't know if this was discussed elsewhere, but I checked out the currency conversion between US dollars and Botswana Pula. I'm not sure what the rates were in November, but right now 820 Pula = $99.63 US. So, the show had it about right, give or take a few cents.

Glad Pam and Winnie went as some probably supported them as they thought they would go far. Yes I've been told spoilers may have said otherwise, but not everyone actually likes to follow spoilers.

The use of a FF just to get a first place and being used by the team in the lead with nobody actually able to compete against them is a weak point. And all that sinister music as if they would actually be in danger with the crocodiles lol, oh well I suppose it scared some of the stupider parts of the audience.

The tension in the episode was more with the teams rather than the audience as we knew Winnie and Pam were last and the footrace was actually not so important anyway. I enjoyed seeing Joey and Meghan win that, even though Joey can sometimes be annoying I think they are the most rootable for me.

The boot order overall has been decent this season (maybe John and Jessica could have lasted more, though John annoyed). But the roller derby mums, hockey players and country singers are all expendable to me.

Many people erroneously jumped to the conclusion that YouTube went home based on ONE clip showing them behind Max/Katie. The problem with that assumption is that NO ONE KNEW WHEN in the ep that clip came. They could have been in the first two, last two, or anywhere in between. The caps and clips did not identify any order, in fact they tried hard to have us believe Jennifer and Caroline were in trouble. So any errors were NOT in the spoilers, it was in the "jump to conclusions" of the readers.

There was no show on the 7th due the Country Music Awards which were aired live. Bakck to normal this week. And mark that the finale May 5 is a 2 hour episode!
