Well , every season we see people saying that the country was BAD used or "THE EPISODE IN THAT COUNTRY SUCKED".
Let's start off analysing by continents.Let's start with EUROPE.
What was the BEST EPISODE you saw in Europe , and what was the WORST EPISODE you saw in Europe?
MY OPINION :
Worst : Season 18 - Episode 8 in Austria , i hated that leg. The Roadblock was just too easy , and had no drama with the teams.
Best : Season 19 - Episode 8 in Denmark. I loved that one!!! Classic music Roadblock and easy Double U-Turn! :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:

my fave was probably Venice in s4 i loved the mask roadblock.

Season 6 and Season 18. I actually loved Season 18 Leg 8. The detours were hard and I loved that they had to drive from Vienna to Salzburg.

Worst: TAR 10 in Finland. Mud, cave, rappel. They could've gone pretty much ANYWHERE in the continent (or world) for those sets of tasks.
Best: TAR 3 in Grindelwald. Testing teams' travel skills, mental acuity, physical dexterity and endurance all in one leg? I love it.
Honorable mentions: TAR 17 in St. Petersburg (first Detour was great, second RB and miscellaneous tasks were great - they could've had the BEST LEG EVER with a bit of reconfiguration but they settled for two good legs), TAR 12 in Italy (difficult tasks + self navigation + several forms of transportation to cause people to get loopy and hateful toward each other? good times)

I loved season 6, mostly because it had a lot of good Europe legs, I especially liked Sweden (might be biased since it's my home country and the race happened within walking distance of where I live), and France. TAR 3&4 were not bad either. Of the recent series TAR 21 was really good, especially the legs in Russia, and the Denmark leg in TAR 19 worked well too. I hope for more visits to Denmark in more seasons.

Worst: I think TAR 10 in Finland. TAR 19 Episode 10 in Belgium 2 came close. I hate the Roadblock task, although the Detour is good.
Best: I think TAR 18 Episode 9. Austria -> Liechtenstein -> Switzerland. Measuring Liechtenstein is one of my favorite tasks in history of The Amazing Race!

I think Europe legs is one of the few things TAR have improved on.
TAR 18's legs were fantastic because the tasks were good, the locations were beautiful and there was some drama. I also LOVE night legs so that helped.
Similarly, TAR 16s were at night and had good teams in it as well as some interesting tasks.
TAR 17 and TAR 3 were also decent.

I think TAR5's Russia and the memorable caviar roadblock is missing.

TAR7's visit to London ranks as one of my favorite legs ever (though I don't get the boats).
And who can forget Ken & Gerard punting in Season 3? :lol3:

I like season 7 and Rob and Amber on it too, however their use of a guide through the whole of that leg made a joke of it and may have been the lowlight of that season for me.

I liked the swiss legs in S3 as well.

How come Russia's only included some of the time? I know as a region part of it is in Asia, but politically the entire country is part of Europe.

TAR21's route was just terrible all around. First season ever to not visit a new country, and it was just pretty lame...

Finland and probably Ukraine are probably gonna be my choice for the worst ones, although i really like the Ukrainian pit stop location :hoot:
I can't really find my favorite for the best because i really like when they visit Europe, since i'm living in Asia :hrt:

My favorite Africa leg : The leg 2 in Ghana (TAR17) . The selling roadblock was so <33333
My worst Africa leg : The first one of this TAR22.

I miss the days when they'd visit two African countries in a season.

I'd go with 1, 6, 7, 10, and 17 as ones that i really liked.

Just a minor quibble: Season 10 also visited Morocco.

The Madagascar leg of Season 10 was the worst African leg ever easily!
The best... hmm... thats too hard to decide. Season 6, 20, and 22 were really good.

Agreed. The only good part was "We was lookin' like the Macy's Day parade" during the mattress task. But the Mauritius and Morocco legs were good. I'd honestly say the best could have been the first Africa leg ever! The first Tunisia leg. Also I'd say the second legin Ghana in S17 and Ethiopia in S6 are up there as well.

Lol. I quite like the Madagascar leg. I think it's good. To be honest, African legs are really good. My worst African leg is probably TAR 20 Tanzania 1.

The scenery is spectacular indeed :hrt:, but I don't like the Detours (jumping for one minute? Really?) and building a tent task. I don't know, but I think I don't like Season 20 much :lol:

I'd say that Season 7 and 10's Africa Legs were my favourites. South Africa is such a cool country and I wish they would visit it more, Botswana was great as well and very memorable for the footrace to the pitstop and the crash beforehand. Season 10 legs in Maritius, Madagascar and Morocco were very cool and entertaining.

Season 20's Africa leg was the most memorable. Because teams got to stop racing and appreciate the nature. Other than that, the whole season sucked. :lol3:

I actually love the Madagascar leg in Season 10. The cow lips FF, the first intersection ever, taxis without gases, D/K beating the FF :hrt:

Africa has been poor recently, I guess because of budget cuts and the producers wanting to play things a lot more safe than they did at the beginning. Now we see them guiding contestants from one task to another or giving them the direct route to the pitstop, and the legs seem short generally too. The days when a team could get lost for ages driving in the desert as in season one seem long gone.

Worst: TAR 20 in Tanzania (both legs) They could've had one decent leg (tent task, safari, the Speed Bump converted into a RB, the second Detour minus a U-Turn) but instead chose to have two lame ones (yes, Nary and Jamie falling five days behind hurt things but...*shrugs*)
Best: TAR 5 in Egypt (1st) - THE SPHINX THE SPHINX THE SPHINX. TAR 6 in Ethiopia - Surprisingly pretty leg, decent tasks and an overdue elimination. What's not to love? TAR 17 in Ghana (2nd) - This is the standard for what all linear legs should be. BOTH a Detour and an RB, transportation less of a factor, and additional tasks to shuffle the team order.

Having seen Season 12 onwards,
My favorites were the first Burkina Faso leg is S12, the Seychelles in S16, both Ghana legs in S17, and the 2nd Botswana leg in S22.
I didn't like the first Tanzania leg in S20.

I forgot about TAR 5 Egypt. That leg was amazing. That season was amazing.

I forgot about the Africa legs in TAR 5 too! Egypt, pyramid, the Sphinx, airport dramas were epic, the ostrich eggs... And let's not forget the iconic 'Habibi!' :jam:
