Bates and Anthony in the snow will really help them. I think they'll win their 4th leg this next week.
My view of the place where the Cheese throwback takes place is that it is obviously not in Locarno. My guess is that it is somewhere in the Obernese Alps.
I am further refining my guess to Brig or Visp (both south of and at higher altitude than Interlaken) as the area in which the climbing takes place. The cheese throwback could be there or nearby.
The cheese shack may not be the same, I don't remember seeing it when I visited the slope in Feb 2011 (TAR 14 was filmed in Nov 2008).
Here's a permanent structure at the bottom of the hill if more footage shows up!

I don't think it could be a Pit Stop because it is a very mechanized process to get there. It would be very anti-climatic to see teams bunched up fore the next ride.
They may go there for the Roadblock clue (it's one ride away from where we see Wynona rock climbing).

The promo monkeys were being very literal in their use of the word "cliffhanger," as in literally hanging from a cliff, not the use of the word that would imply (to us) a suspenseful holdover to the following episode.

Edit: The closest location I could find with weather information near the Eiger mountain was Grindelwald, Grindelwald, Kt. Bern. However, I can't find daily precipitation information at that location especially during the five days between the listed timeline dates for the prior and the subsequent days. The only Interlachen station I could find with information is next to a lake, and that doesn't help.
I guess adding the gnomes was bound to make it impossible to careful navigate the cheese wheels down the slope without falling off or losing control.
Hopefully nognomes were damagedracers were injured during the task. :)

For heaven's sake people, do NOT quote all the caps!! The pages will take forever to load. I number them, if you want to refer to one, use the # or find and quote JUST that one.
Also note that the slope has clearly been already used...so this is not the first batch.
And, about the Roadblock... I thi I will not like it. So,ething tells me that a racer cannot get ahead another one. I have the feeling that because of the cliffhanging thing, racers have no space to overtake other contestants? That is the feeling I get. I would not rather see Wynona delaying some teams because of that. :res:
Speaking of the likely roadblock, I was trying to make out who the other people doing the cliffhanger challenge are, besides Wynona in the last preview put out. I see a female with a green helmet, long hair, dark top and grey pants (Caroline/Jennifer?), someone wearing a blue coat with gloves that say "CAMP" on them (from the 1st person perspective shot), and a guy with green helmet, dark top, khaki pants and blue shoes. Can't make em out any better than that though
