Cochran
(http://wwwimage.cbsstatic.com/base/files/styles/136x170/public/cast/john_cochran.jpg)
Name (Age): John Cochran (25)
Tribe Designation: Bikal
Previous Season: Survivor: South Pacific – 13th castaway voted out/5th Jury Member
Current Residence: Washington, D.C.
Occupation: HarvardLaw Student
Personal Claim to Fame: Flipping on my tribe, being reluctant to take off my shirt on day one of Survivor: South Pacific.
Inspiration in Life: My Family – for supporting and putting up with me.
Hobbies: Beatles music, guitar and Survivor.
Pet Peeves: Self-entitlement and lack of a sense of humor.
3 Words to Describe You: Brilliant, insecure and neurotic.
If You Could Have 3 Things on The Island What Would They Be and Why?
1) Frisbee – It’s fun and doubles as a dish. 2) Cards – To pass the time. 3
) Sketchpad – I like to doodle!
SURVIVOR Contestant You Are Most Like: I have the humor of Rob Cesternino, the intelligence of Yul Kwon and the candor of Jonathan Penner.
Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: I love Survivor! I’ve watched it, talked about it, studied it, written about it and dreamt about it for half my life.
Why You Think You’ll “Survive” SURVIVOR: I’m too passionate about Survivor to let harsh elements, starvation, sleep deprivation and abrasive tribe mates deter me from lasting all 39 days.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole SURVIVOR: Having played once before, I know the sorts of mistakes I’m susceptible to making. I didn’t win the last time I played and I have no desire to repeat history. I still know more about Survivor than virtually anyone else who’s ever played the game. Now I feel more mentally and psychologically prepared to put my theoretical knowledge of the game into practice.

<3 HE'S BACK Y'ALL!
-
Ugh. Cochran. As pointless as Brandon. :P
-
ew why
-
He better not be as awkward as the first time around :|
-
Not predicting or what. But he's going to be a pre-jury this time round for sure. :lol3:
If he made it to the jury, I'm going to have a change in opinion in him for sure. But I think not.
-
From what I've learnt, I guess his gameplay this time is totally different from that in S23.
-
Haven't watch this guy from previous season (thanks to CBS deleting all my fav utube channels :res: )
But from the introductory video above, he said he didn't have much to offer on the table whereas most people kinda eager to show off what they are (especially the fans - for obvious reason :P ), and he also confess that he disappoint his fans from not being what he promised the last time around, so.. I do hope that he can change and be a 'new me' just like he said, should he remain the same character, oh well, you know what to expect
-
I liked him on SoPa because he was the underdog... but I hope he plays differently this time otherwise it will be hard to watch.
-
"This is a new Dawn... a new day".. :lol3:
-
Worst ever to bring back. If he wins i will puke. :helpme
-
kid cracks me up. Hope he doesn't win though

I think that just about sums up my thoughts as well.
-
I like Cochran so much more this season. Gonna root for him to win!
-
Did Cochran really just provide us all with the mental image of the helpful bush guy (Tata) spanking it to thoughts of Andrea and Brenda?
:lol3:
-
(talking about the native hugging all the girls) "if I did that I would be considered some sort of a creep or something" :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3:

Best quote ever. <3 :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3:

Cochran is hilarious this season. I love his assessments of the other castaways. :lol3: :hrt:

They're wittier yet more accurate! He's playing so much better when he's not so timid and all!
-
Is 100% better than last time around! I will be really happy if he wins!
-
A lot more confident this time round. Either he realised he needs to be more confident or being in comfortable position does that to you. Or both,
-
:welcome: to RFF, Dunkle Schoko!

Thanks georgiapeach. Pleased to be among fans of survivor.

:hello2: Thanks

I think Cochran might have just become my favorite player this season. Who would have picked him to win that Immunity Challenge? Probably no one.
-
Making a bold prediction, based on the edit, that this season is Cochran's to lose. :lol3:
-
I've been thinking that between him and Brenda. But Brenda would probably be getting a fair amount of screen time now if she was a big contender.
-
Looking at how the Amigos get tear down, nobody sees how big a threat that Cochran is and actually thinks Andrea and Dawn = bigger threats = Cochran winning.

It could be the case, but the Amigos were talking about voting off Cochran before he won Immunity, so maybe people do see him as a threat. ???
-
I don't think they see him as much as a threat as compared to Andrea. It's still Andrea + Amigos + Dawn... Cochran is just the joker who won Immunity twice... by luck/chance or whatsoever. :lol3:
-
And racer... What Cochran said this episode would be what I considered as "smug" and "arrogant"... + a little "delusional". :stare

Are you being serious? He was joking about winning so many Immunities since nobody thought it was even possible, let alone himself.
-
It was painfully obvious that he said the challenge beast comments as a joke. The fact that so many people took at as something more than that is hilarious to be quite honest. I didn't see anything smug/arrogant/delusional about him (then again I haven't seen him be smug/arrogant/delusional any time I've seen him.) The one possible thing was the relishing in Malcolm's departure but it was clear in that instance that it wasn't personal either, just Cochran relishing in the act of taking out a very competent social/physical/strategic player.
-
Didn't the amigos say we need to take out the highly strategic player Cochran or something similair? I think they are very aware of how smart he is.

He got a little carried away. I know he's kidding don't worry. But I think it got a little into his head after he won Immunity and went on to talk about how's he's winning all the challenges this season. I don't have any problem with that actually.
The type of smug and arrogance that I cannot stand... = Philip and Russell. Those are the worst. :lol3:

Yeah, they did. But then he won Immunity. I think perhaps the three votes for Andrea may have been directed towards Cochran if he didn't have the necklace.

I think they are.. it's funny how nobody thought Cochran could be a threat suddenly one day. :lol3:
