Best Loser, are you before time? My show hasn't start.
Somebody start feeling race karma power :cmaslol !
This is such a good leg.
This is such a good leg.
The only thing that would make this leg better is if Beekmans get first and twins get eliminated. :reindeer
This is such a good leg.
Recent finales have seem to have two RBs and a dual partner task. So far we have the bungy RB, the flag/salutation RB and the dual partner pizza task.
Agree with you with the recent finales, DrRox; but the problem this season is that we already had 11 RB performed along the race. Here's the list, leg by leg:
1. Tennis table and Fallopian Tubes.
2. Balloons.
3. Serve lunch at restaurant.
4. Repair bus.
5. Build a scale.
6. Sell in the Grand Bazaar.
7. Unlock the locks.
8. Time zone puzzle.
9. Switchback
10. Tennis at Manacor.
The thing is we already have two more legs upcoming, and only 1 RB to perform. Unless they change the rules and teams have to face 14 RBs instead of 12, what would allow a 7-7 count in the last leg with a double RB.
Watch GGF be so full of themselves in NYC. This season is already the worst in TAR history and if they win its the worst worldwide race ever.
Nadiya and Natalie being positive about their elimination. :cmaslol
This is one of the best seasons ever! :cmas9 What a great F6 teams! :cmas16

Minus the farmers. They are honestly the worst team in TAR history and with this season sucking in China, Inonesia, Bangladesh, Russia & Spain it has set the bar so slow for other races. To be quite honest I feel bad for Trexie, Chips, Nana, and Abby/Ryan being on this season since they are such great teams racing in the worst route ever alongside some of the most annoying(not even in the funny way like Flo, Kendra, Nicole etc). Hopefully those 4 teams get to return in a future season with better teams. Thanks.

There's still a crazy memory task. But it's Trey and Lexi race to lose! :cmas9
What Beekmain failures. KARMA HAHA
Once again:
He who sows the wind will reap the whirlwind.
I'm in love with this memory challenge.

Awful finish to the worst season on the history of the show besides the Family Edition. A team that didn't even come in 1st or 2nd the whole race besides the last leg won the 1 Million dollars. I really don't know how lucky a team can get on the Amazing Race. First they got a Non-Elimination Leg that saves them from elimination. Then they got saved because another team was U-Turned when Josh and Brent would have been the last place team. I have nothing against Josh and Brent, they seem like nice guys, but winners of this show? Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
Season 22 better be good because Season 21 was overall just a poor season. From the cast, to the locations, to the drama, the tasks, and the winners. I don't think you could say any 22 was good in any of those aspects. Maybe I am overreacting but Season 21 was an absolute failure. Locations weren't interesting, few interesting teams and awful winners.

"Nice guys do finish first some times" - Josh and Brent
Okay, I hate to say this but this is probably one of the best seasons ever! I'm not being biased but it was a spectacular finale. Nobody know who will win until 5 to 10 minutes before the show! WHATTTTTTTT?

I agree on EVERYTHING except the Family Edition part. At least the teams were decent and weren't awful and the race had good tasks despite being in North America(though notice 'edition' not a real TAR) and I liked it, way better than most races and dang more better than this hole that is TAR21.
And..... congrats to..... Josh & Brent!!! :cmas26
They have OFFICIALLY made the record for the least averaged placing to win TAR!
Is this the first time ever a Finish Line was indoors? :cmas19
I think this is one of the best finales ever. Tons of drama.
While I agree that this route isn't one of the best, I definitely don't think this is the "worst season ever". :cmas30: I also don't understand where all this Beekman hate is coming from...
Beekman were the underdogs definitely, but I loved that this season was exciting every single leg such that Andy and Tommy or Rachel and Dave didn't win every leg. The final 6 teams all won legs and it was nice to watch that all the teams had capabilities and not just a one sided affair.

im gonna agree and disagree with that. this WASNT a trainwreck season like some others, but it WASNT terrific season. it was in the middle. this finale was spectacular, they were the best legs. and i did not realise the memory challenge would be such a bitch! i mean, they were out til night time! i am very dissapointed the beekmans won. dont get me wrong, i like them, but they werent deserving. if a deserving team wins, i'll be happy regardless if i like them or not. after leg 4, they either placed last or second last in every leg. now thats pretty poor if you ask me.
i love it when underdogs win, but not when they ran a completely **** race and were not strong at all! e.g. kisha and jen were NEVER in danger of elimination, but the beekmans were on the elimination list 7/12 legs. wth
For those who say worst season ever pleaseAre you kidding? There was not a single new country in this season. Even Family Edition went to new countries!!!!! And it's not just that, but the locations in the countries were the same as what they always go to!
Every season is unique with new locations and teams. I don't think there has ever been a "worst season"
I was hoping for the twinnies to win but knew of their demise hopefully they and James and Abba are back for an All Stars run.
People who are saying that it is worst season ever and do not like the winners should stick with Survivor.
Embarrassing that Texas does not know the UN symbol. Come on people!
Phil promises next season is going to be worth watching! Not for nothing, what would he say? Don't watch its boring lol.

Bangladesh, Turkey Indonesia were visited once.
Spain and France had locations never visited before
Shanghai/Moscow/Amsterdam yes recycled but what race doesn't
Still a good mix of a route even if not the best route imaginable.
People who are saying that it is worst season ever and do not like the winners should stick with Survivor.
Any winner is deserving if they win the final leg...
Just saying. :cmaslol

Haterz gunna hate. Like it or not, Brent and Josh won and whinging won't change that fact :)
It was one of the best finales we've had in a LONG time. The whole underdogs story was amazing and tbh, it's nice to see underdogs win instead of dominating teams who've won leg after leg after leg. This was WAY better than Rachel & Dave last season (sorry Prophet :cmas19)
Sure the route was horrid, but it really wasn't as bad as you all make it out to be. The Russian, Turkish and Holland legs were quite impressive everything else wasn't that bad so that was alright :) This 2 hour episode definitely made up for what was lacking in the season though imo :D Not the worst season by far.
Umm did anyone heard who say the title?
I will repeat once again. Just because your rooting interest doesn't win does not make it a bad season.
I don't need to be told by anyone that this is a bad season because your favourite team didn't win or anything like that. I enjoyed the season, it was exciting throughout, the teams were really competitive and there was a good mix of different personalities, the route was decent and some tasks were really MEMORABLE, and the winner will always be deserving. If you win, you win. A GREAT season overall.
There, see how perspectives can go. :cmas9
So no, it was not crap because the team who got 2nd to last EVERY leg starting from Bangladesh. It was crap because of the route and the cherry on top was the worst team winning. Thank you.
Any winner is deserving if they win the final leg...
Just saying. :cmaslol
If they took a penalty like how Rob and Amber took a penalty in season 7, I wouldn't mind cause It was good move.but the way they took it, oh man!
QuoteIf they took a penalty like how Rob and Amber took a penalty in season 7, I wouldn't mind cause It was good move.but the way they took it, oh man!
The way they took it was because the pool was closing and the other Detour option was not available anymore. They didn't quit. So what's wrong?
I don't see your logic. A team who gets penalized for using wrong transportation because they did not read the clue properly (which is their own fault) and win is acceptable.
But a team who gets penalized four hours because one detour option was not available and they did not get to continue trying the detour they were doing anymore because the pool was closing (which is obviously not their fault) and win is unacceptable. Please note that even James and Abba managed to complete the Detour, despite how pathetic we've seen they were. A few more tries and I'm sure Josh and Brent would have gotten the clue, if not for the hours of operation.
Is it rather unpleasant for you only? Because I don't quite get your logic. And I'm sure others don't too, even if they are not a Beekman lover.
I will say that I consider this one of the best final legs ever, mainly because it was heavily mental as opposed to the heavily physical one last season. Having teams take almost three hours to complete the final challenge really shows how the difficulty spiked. Consequently, I think this hello-goodbye task is one of the strongest candidates for a Switchback in future seasons (who else thinks we'll see this next year in TARAus?)

I don't think they're gonna do this again though.
It's one of those things that could only be used once.
Switchback Roadblock is usually something that has things to do physically or with luck.
Besides, as of right now, I bet all of the upcoming teams will take notes for something like this and if a switchback RB like this appears, they'll be done in like no time

I'm not a Josh and Brent fan. I'm a fan of logic. You don't have to be sarcastic because I was seriously genuine in knowing where did your logic of them not deserving because they quit a Detour come from. :cmaslol
If you said they don't deserve to win because they sucked every leg, came in second to last every leg; that I understand. But because just based of them being forced to quit a Detour? Erm, ok. If you say so. :cmaslol And it doesn't help you contradict your words by saying it's okay if a team took wrong transportation, got penalized and win and that's fine. I guess I better stop confusing you because you seemed confused yourself. :cmas18
I am okay with any of the final three winning. I was rooting for Trey and Lexi and Beekman if you ask me.

He said TARAus. Not TAR US. There's a possibility it may be used in TARAus, but definitely not TAR US because as what you've said, teams will start taking notes now.

I don't see it that way. Either they're forced to quit or not, bottom line They did not do the detour. And wasn't the penalty was supposed to be 24 hours?
It's just me though, but I don't think a team who quitted a freaking detour (either way they're forced or not) deserved to win a million dollar. I still would've preferred the Chips to win though... :P

Hoping for much better in Season 22.

I'd say all of the final six + Amy & Daniel are All Star material
My fav reaction when teams entered were of the twins. One was clapping and the other had their jaw on the floor saying OMG! :cmaslol :cmaslol :cmaslol
At least 4 teams I can see back:
Nadiya/Natalie and the Chippendales for an all stars run (that is now three straight seasons where a M/M team could likely make an all stars version with M/B and A/T)
James/Abba and Ryan/Abbie for another unfinished business for obvious reasons.
Embarrassing that Texas does not know the UN symbol. Come on people!
I completely agree! As a Model UN delegate, this saddens me. :(

It was one of the best finales we've had in a LONG time. The whole underdogs story was amazing and tbh, it's nice to see underdogs win instead of dominating teams who've won leg after leg after leg. This was WAY better than Rachel & Dave last season (sorry Prophet :cmas19)
Where are you getting 4.25 from? I have 55/12=4.5833, which would make them the lowest average placing winners.And..... congrats to..... Josh & Brent!!! :cmas26
They have OFFICIALLY made the record for the least averaged placing to win TAR!
Is this the first time ever a Finish Line was indoors? :cmas19
Actually, season 16's winners, Jordan and Daniel had a lower placement average for a winning team (4.3333) compared to the Beekman Boys (4.2500)
I'd say all of the final six + Amy & Daniel are All Star material
I don't think the twinnies were being homophobic against the Beekmans, the way the called them "Evil Gays" was very similar to how they called James & Jaymes the "Stupid Chippendales" and I loved how the girls admitted that they were never nice  I would love to see the Twinnies back, since they were almost set to go to the finale, but were screwed by a local in the end. If I had to pick two All-Stars from this season, it'd be Twinnies (new Dustin & Kandice) and Abbie & Ryan (new Amanda & Kris). James & Abba would be deserving for a second chance, but the other two strike me as more interesting.
Let's do some basic arithmetic regarding the number of teams that might qualify for the third AllStars season, which I expect to be around AR25. That means that the pool of talent would be from 6 seasons. 12 teams divided by 6 seasons is 2 teams per season! Also, it is entirely possible that some teams from the past (particularly Colin and Christie) will be asked to participate. I think it is a certainty that no team who has been on 2 seasons already will be selected for the 3rd All Star season.
So, what does this mean? Those who postulate this team or that team but in some cases 7 teams from AR21 are in for a nasty fall in my opinion.

Erm, apskip... maybe not 7 teams but 5 teams is always possible. Look at TAR 18 which is literally TAR 14 and friends.
Abby&Ryan, James&Abba and maybe Amy&Daniele for another Unfinished Business seasons.
Overall, this season will be in half top position in my rankings. I am sure there will be many teams from this season to be back for next All Stars since most of them are All-Star worthy! :cmas9
I wouldn't be surprised either! They did a really good job casting. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if this is TAR14 for the next AS!
Really, guys, really?
Abby&Ryan, James&Abba and maybe Amy&Daniele for another Unfinished Business seasons.
i would love to see lots of this season's teams again in a future season, but those three you said are definitely the top contenders
i hope NaNa come back though

yeah and 4 of those teams got booted out 11th,10th,9th,8th... :cmaslol
I would say yes maybe to Margie&Luke, Amanda&Kris (Two hotties only in TAR 18 :kisses, well and Mallory I guess), and Kisha&Jen
But Mel&Mike and Jaime&Cara? :mas25
Tony&Dallas and Brook&Claire would be so much better :cmas16 :cmas16

Brooke and Claire were asked to participate, but one of them was pregnant and they declined :cmas4. I hat ehow Amanda and Kris were invited back. They didn't really do much to be invited, they got eliminated leg 4 (at least Zev and Justin lost their passports.)

If they do that they will be my most favourite team ever. :cmaslol
Wait, Brook & Claire are awesome characters in the race, they are all-stars material, but for Unfinished Business, not sure if they had a big of a story as Ronald & Christina or Jet & Cord... what made them lose the $1 million racing around L.A. County unlike the listed above? I only totally remember the last half of the finale when they arrive at the Rose Bowl floats via helicopters.Let's do some basic arithmetic regarding the number of teams that might qualify for the third AllStars season, which I expect to be around AR25. yeah, Claire was pregnant, so they declined. I really want them in the next All Stars (is it possible pick team from TAR 17?). They are definitely one of the strongest Female-Female teams in TAR history. And they are FUN...!!! I love their spirit :cmas9
