:conf:  HAPPY TAR FINALE DAY!!   :conf:

Even though we are a spoiler board, we do NOT want to have the episode spoiled while it is airing.

This will be more important than ever this season since Canada will be airing ahead of us any week we have Football delays...

SO!! If you are watching anything but an EST US feed, it is your responsibility to be sure you are not ahead of us if you want to post/update in this thread. Canadian feeds may be way ahead of us, especially when the US has a football delay, like this week possibly!

SO PLEASE! Absolutely  ** NO SPOILERS or ANY OUTCOMES ** to be posted before the show is done airing East Coast time! Anyone breaking the rule is at risk of being banned.  :browsie:

Otherwise, come watch with us for the best weekly viewing party in town!!

We will have a LIVE streaming video posted every week we can find one. So if you are overseas or just on the West Coast and want to watch right away...please join us! You can follow along and PLEASE help update as the show unfolds! We hope everyone will join in the fun!! :wohoo:

LIVE STREAMING VIDEO links will be  HERE (http://forum.realityfanforum.com/index.php/topic,27950.new.html#new) and will normally be put up about 20 minutes before show time. These are a good check as to what times we are seeing the show.

Previously on The Amazing Race...

11 teams began a race around the world. There were epic battles, gruelling challenges and devastating defeats. Teams experienced blood (Trey & Lexi with the bull detour), sweat (Chips with the bamboo) and tears (Abbie & the nice lady <33333). 7 teams were eliminated. Trey & Lexi and Nadiya & Natalie made an alliance and got the Chips to join. They managed to eliminate Abbie & Ryan with the double U-Turn plan. The alliance celebrated until the twins failed at the detour.

The Chips had a bad start. The drew on the strength of family and started having more fun. Though they struggled with their conscience, they U-Turned Abbie & Ryan to help launch them into the final 4.

Beekmans appeared to get close to elimination lots of times but they found a way to make it to the final 4.

Trey & Lexi began the race as travelling novices and with each leg, their confidence grew. They game in first 3 times and falling deeper in love along the way.

Twins were loud and proud. They gained friends and foes. They unknowingly woke the competitive drive with the Beekmans and now they have a Speedbump to race for a spot in the final 3.

In a fight to the finish, only 1 team will emerge victorious...

"Have fun at the Speedbump!"

Along the way, there were epic battles, gruelling defeats...

My finger my finger... do you need a medic? (Trexie)

2 of the F4 teams made an alliance and got a third team to join them. (Trexie and Twinnies)

Abbie and Ryan were mentioned.. boo. (For the U-TURN conspiracy)

Plan backfired on the twins. Chippendales got off to a rocky start and the family's motivation (just give them a million edit... oh CBS, -_-)

Farmers appeared destined for elimination... for sucking almost every leg.

And made it to the F4. What a short introduction.

Trey and Lexi come in as novices... and fell deeper in love.

The couple blazed the trail to the final four. Is this the Olympics??

Sri Lankan were loud. Okay, Phil just say they can't shut up.

Sri Lankan face a Speedbump tonight.

Only one team will emerge victorious~~~~~~~

Trey & Lexi depart 1st at 9:32 AM. Make your way to Barcelona, Spain. Then proceed by train to Loire Valley, France. Then they will find their next clue on a Ford Escape.

Chips depart 2nd at 9:46 AM. They get $100something (?) for this leg of the race. Jaymes & James talk about how they want to help their family with the money.

Josh & Brent depart 3rd at 10:27 AM. Josh speaks French.

Natalie & Nadiya depart at 11:14 AM. :o They say they can rely on Trey & Lexi and Chips to help them. Twins talk about how Beekmans have coasted, blahblahblah. Yuck.

All teams are on the same train. The alliance is sitting together. This dream team is disgusting. Twins talk about how Beekmans are taking the last spot, whatever. Josh & Brent overheard that there's an alliance to get them out... Jaymes invites them over, but Josh & Brent have already heard... omg this is yuck.

And we're out of the train station. Route info: Pick up 8 empty crates from a cafe. Using the hands free lift-gate, load their Ford Escape. Then kick the lift-gate again. :cmaslol Drive to the Chateau de Villandry and find a Stone Dog and their next clue. And now we get the Chips talking about how cool the kick lift thing is.

Josh: "I want one. Get me one."
Brent: "If we win the million."

:cmaslol

Beekmans are sitting in their car while the other teams are getting directions. Beekmans are just going to follow them because they know there's an alliance.

Natalie/Nadiya: "The Beekman boys are going to come from behind. That's what they like to do." :cmaslol

Natalie and Nadiya talk about how Beekmans are taking up a spot, blahblahblah. Twins tell Chips to lose the Beekmans. Beekmans hear that... Twins are being nasty.

All teams are looking for the Stone Dog... They're pretty much all running together. Josh starts speaking French to this man to help him. Gosh. The other teams are lucky. Mad run to the clue.

Find Leonardo da Vinci's final resting place: Chateau d'Amboise.

Natalie & Nadiya have a speedbump. Beekmans tell them good luck sarcastically! :cmaslol GO BEEKMANS. <333333

Speedbump: Help a woman lace up a corset.

Twins are being super nasty, telling Chips and Trexie to lose the Beekmans.

Trey and Lexi will depart first at 9.32am

Teams are going to Barcelona, Spain... then going to FRANCE!

Jaymes and James at 9.46am.

Okay Chips, I know you need the money, stop reminding me.

Josh and Brent. 10.27am. GO BEEKMEN.

11.14am, prepare for a leg to fail.. TWINNIES.

Twinnies: We want it more than them (Beekmen)... OH, REALLY? *rolleyes*

Josh and Brent overheard an official alliance. Chippendales go *GROUP HUG* erm, hypocrites.

And teams arrived in FRANCE!

SELF-DRIVING. HAHAHAHAHAHA. DIE TWINNIES.

Okay, what a lame task for advertisement for FORD. -_-

Beekmen completely following. LOL. I like their attitude.

BEEKMEN VS NADIYA AND NATALIE. GO BEEKMEN SCREW THEM!

Beekmen fooling the hell out of the dream team alliance.

Nadiya and Natalie will now complete a Speedbump. Lacing up CORSET!

Work from the top to the bottom to lace it properly.

LOL. What a competitive leg.

And we're back. Twins are in the castle and they start putting on the corset. They say they should have told Chips and Trexie to wait for them because the Beekmans wouldn't have gone anywhere...

Beekmans find it interesting how Chips and Trexie have ditched their alliance. Chips and Trexie are using Josh for his French. Beekmans start leading and Chips and Trexie follow.

Twins have completed their speedbump. And now they're going back to the dog.

Beekmans don't know where they're going. Chips and Trexie follow them into a gas station, lol.

Twins start proceeding to Ambroise.

Trexie parks earlier. Josh & Brent get a spot closer to the building. Chips are right behind. Trexie get the first clue. Beekmans and Chips are right behind.

Detour: Chow or Plow.

Chow: Teams will have to make the daily meal of a bunch of dogs. Sort, weigh and cut various types of meats for dogs.
Plow: Use a traditional horse and plow. When the field has been properly cultivated, they will receive their next clue.

Only 2 teams can do Plow at once... Chips are doing Plow. Beekmans don't want to be stuck waiting for Plow... Trexie are going to do Chow. Beekmans decide to do Chow with them. Beekmans tell Trexie to wait for their car, but Trexie just leaves.

Twins arrive at the castle.

Chips talk about losing Josh & Brent. blahblahblah.

Natalie & Nadiya are going to do Chow.

Trexie are going to switch to Plow. They're the first ones to the detour location. Lexi mentions Trey's muscles again... Lexi mentions horse farts. How nice.

Chips and Beekmans can't find the detour.

Lexi is leading the horse while Trey & Lexi are plowing. Twins arrive at the detour next. Trexie talk about how they made up so much time. Twins are going to do Chow. Chips arrive and see the twins. Beekmans see the twins. Twins are really happy about being back in the race.

Twins and Beekmans are doing Chow. Twins complain about Beekmans being on their tail.

Twins say that people use their knife to stab people in the back... UHHHH, WHAT? There's tons of trash talking between the Beekmans and twins. This isn't even trash talking, this is basically arguing. :cmas18 Speak about dysfunctional...

Chips start doing Plow. Trexie has already gone through their lane twice. James' forearms are killing him. Uh, okay.

Josh & Brent find a strategy. They start distracting the twins by asking questions about their alliance. Twins can't cut and talk, so they just stop the conversation.

James' forearms are burning.

Natalie/Nadiya: "Hurry up... they're bloody done... these bastards."

Josh & Brent dumped down the meat and now they're weighing their pellets. Natalie & Nadiya are like omgggg. :cmaslol

Trexie are done the detour. Proceed to La Cave des Roches. James are done the detour. Jaymes kisses the horse.

Lexi talks about how great it was to see the twins. Oh shut up.

Beekmans dump out the food... and now they're done the detour! HAHAHAHAHA. HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT.

Natalie/Nadiya: "The Gays bloody beat us."

SUCKS FOR YOU. :cmas3

Nadiya and Natalie: Stupid bloody dog... -_-

And my feed hanged.

Trey and Lexi were the first to reach the final resting place for Leonardo Davinci.

DETOUR! CHOW OR PLOW!

In Chow, teams need to make the daily meal for a pack of hounds.

In Plow, teams need to plow the field. When the farmer decided the field has been cultivated, they will receive their next clue.

Trexie are changing to PLOW. (This is why we stay by ourselves, we are rocking it)

Trexie first to reached the Detour. Jaymes and James lost and see Beekmen along the way.

Trexie are still first at Detour and rocking it. Their horse is obviously not broken.

I think the horse likes Trexie!

Omg, Nadiya and Natalie caught up with Beekmen and Josh and Brent. OMG. They caught up!

I think Nadiya and Natalie made a wrong choice not to plow? Plow looks slower.

Nadiya and Natalie VS Beekmen again. But they are farmers, I think it's no problem for them?

Nadiya and Natalie became the evil guys today! "Evil gays are going down"... Omg, I think Nadiya and Natalie will get loads of gay hate after this episode.

Chippendales doing Plow. But they look like they don't know what's happening.

Nadiya and Natalie slower than Josh and Brent... with a strategy with deboning.

Josh and Brent talking to twinnies, because they cannot cut and talk at the same time.

Is this the legendary good at multi-tasking ability for gay guys?

Josh and Brent... almost DONE?? Omg. Imagine they finish Detour first? That would be.... scary?

Natalie: If we lose them again, we will kill ourselves. LOL.

Trey and Lexi are in 1st place again for completing Detour first!

Chippendales done in 2nd place.

Nadiya and Natalie, I told you... you didn't do Plow and screw yourselves.

Josh and Brent finishing their Detour!

Josh and Brent in third place and the pack of hounds... LOOKED SCARY!

And we're back with the Beekmans leaving the detour. Beekmans see that the other teams have already left.

Trexie reach their next clue. Roadblock: "Who's a fun guy?"

Roadblock: Find mushrooms. They have to memorize 3 kinds of mushrooms. Then they have to find 10 of each in the caves. The cave is really dark. There are tons of mushrooms in the cave...

Chips are at the roadblock. Jaymes is doing the roadblock.

Josh & Brent are not good at directions... :cmas7

Twins are out of the detour.

Jaymes yells in the cave for Lexi. Lexi continues picking mushrooms... It's basically pitch black in the cave at parts... It's like a maze... The lights go on and off... Lexi runs into pitch black. Jaymes is the first one out. Jaymes' mushrooms are wrong. Lexi finds her way out... And Lexi has completed the roadblock!

Pit stop: Chateau de Chenonceau. Trexie leave the roadblock.

Jaymes is done the roadblock. They're going to the pit stop. They use the kick lift to put in their bag.

Trexie go to the wrong castle... They're 15 minutes off. Chips get directions to the right castle.

Natalie & Nadiya run into the cave looking for their roadblock clue. Josh & Brent get the clue before them. :cmaslol

Race between Trexie and Chips to the pit stop... Oh! Jaymes & James are first to the pit stop. They're team #1 and they will be one of the 3 teams racing in the finale. They have each won the Ford Escape!

Pit stop:
1st - Jaymes & James

So I was right about the RBs:

Recent finales have seem to have two RBs and a dual partner task. So far we have the bungy RB, the flag/salutation RB and the dual partner pizza task.

Agree with you with the recent finales, DrRox; but the problem this season is that we already had 11 RB performed along the race.  Here's the list, leg by leg:

1.  Tennis table and Fallopian Tubes.
2.  Balloons.
3.  Serve lunch at restaurant.
4.  Repair bus.
5.  Build a scale.
6.  Sell in the Grand Bazaar.
7.  Unlock the locks.
8.  Time zone puzzle.
9.  Switchback
10.  Tennis at Manacor.

The thing is we already have two more legs upcoming, and only 1 RB to perform.  Unless they change the rules and teams have to face 14 RBs instead of 12, what would allow a 7-7 count in the last leg with a double RB.

Beekmen are done before Nadiya and Natalie.

Trexie first at Roadblock. "Who's a fun guy"?

Roadblock is to find mushrooms, search a dark maze for 10 of 3 different varieties of the mushrooms.

Beekmen are lost. Nadiya and Natalie still at Detour, in last place. Will they do a catch up again?

Trey and Lexi completed the Roadblock in first place, they are going to win this leg again! Good job Trey and Lexi!

Trey and Lexi are driving 2 km to the pitstop.

Jaymes and James got it. They are driving to the pitstop.

Nadiya and Natalie totally not reading the clue and running into the cave.

Trexie VS Chippendales. Chippendales may win the leg. OMG!?!?!

That was UNEXPECTED!

Trexie didn't win this leg??

As the winners of this leg, they have each won a car. OMG. Wow. Wow... WOW!

Trexie are going to kick themselves for this.

Nadiya and Natalie completed the Roadblock and are in third place!

Josh: I hope they don't know their way. LOL.

Bitchy beekmen again! <3

And we return with the twins leaving the roadblock... Brent comes out of the caves... His mushrooms are correct... Off to the pit stop.

Brent asks when twins left. Josh says 10 minutes.

Beekmans get directions. Brent hopes they have navigation issues... Twins get directions and now they're going... Josh is not following the signs. He's just heading towards the direction. Twins ask another person for help. Twins found out they're gone in the wrong direction! :cmas9

Josh & Brent have hit a road with construction. They have to go a different way...

This is so intense...
...
...
...

AND IT'S JOSH & BRENT! :cmas9 Josh & Brent are team #3! Josh looks shocked!

Natalie & Nadiya arrive at the pit stop... They're the last team to arrive. And they've been eliminated from the race. Twins say they need to be more positive instead of crazy. Montage of all the fun they had on the race.

Pit stop:
1st - Jaymes & James
2nd - Trey & Lexi
3rd - Josh & Brent
4th - Natalie & Nadiya (ELIMINATED :cmas27)

Jaymes & James depart 1st at 1:33 AM. Fly to New York, New York. They have a post card attached that says wish you were here. The post card will send them to the Coney Island Boardwalk. The clue is hidden in a sign.

Trey & Lexi depart 2nd at 1:44 AM. Chips realize that whether it's twins or Beekmans, they both know their way around New York.

Josh & Brent depart last at 3:06 AM. Josh knows his way around New York. Home advantage. "Don't count your million dollars before you got it in your hands."

Chips and Trexie wait in the airport for the last team... And it's Beekmans!

Chips say goodbye to their bags. They leave it. No friends. Trexie won't be sharing information. Josh & Brent want their last leg to be their only win. All teams are on the same flight...

Touchdown! Chips run out quickly and get the first taxi. They're off to Coney Island. Trexie and Beekmans are right behind.

Minus the farmers. They are honestly the worst team in TAR history and with this season sucking in China, Inonesia, Bangladesh, Russia & Spain it has set the bar so slow for other races. To be quite honest I feel bad for Trexie, Chips, Nana, and Abby/Ryan being on this season since they are such great teams racing in the worst route ever alongside some of the most annoying(not even in the funny way like Flo, Kendra, Nicole etc). Hopefully those 4 teams get to return in a future season with better teams. Thanks.

Chips are at Coney Island… they’re looking for their clue, but they don’t see it. They don’t see a red and yellow flag… because it’s not there! Trexie are looking for it as well. Trexie walk by the poster… Chips can’t see it… They both go into the park.

Josh & Brent stop close to the poster... Chips think it's an entrance to the ride. Trexie can't find it in the park either. They're both going to the beach. Josh & Brent are comparing their post card to the view...

Trexie find the poster and they see their clue. Beekmans find the poster as well. They're both off to the next location. Chips see the Beekmans running away... Chips can't see it.

Trexie are off by taxi to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Josh & Brent are right behind.

Chips can't see their next clue still... Commercial.

Then Josh and Brent.

FINAL LEG. IT'S A FINAL THREE DASH AND ALL TEAMS ARE TOGETHER!

Trexie and Chippendales can't see the hidden clue.

Trexie running further away

Trexie figured the clue.

Beekman found it.

Jaymes and James LOST. They don't know what's happening. James and Jaymes still don't see it. :O

We are back with the Chips still being confused. Jaymes finds their next clue... And now they're off to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Jaymes says they're 15 minutes behind.

Trexie and Beekmans speculate about the clue being on a Houdini poster... Trexie arrive first at the roadblock. Roadblock: Who's ready for a great escape?

Roadblock: Teams will have to wear a straight jacket. They'll be suspended upside down 15 stories high. Then they'll have to figure out how to escape from their straight jacket. When they do, they will then basically be doing a bungee. Trey is doing the roadblock.

Josh & Brent arrive at the roadblock. Brent is doing the roadblock. Trey is scared.

Chips arrive at the roadblock. Jaymes is doing the roadblock.

Trey has seen Houdini escape from a straight jacket before... He has to get his hands above his head first... He does it. Trey frees his arms. He's afraid he's going to do something to the harness... And he frees himself! He's flipping all around. Trey: I'M STILL VERY SCARED. :cmaslol

Make your way to Lombardi's Pizzeria.
Title: Re: FINALE PARTY! SHOW updates and commentary *start: 800PM or later* note rules

Trey & Lexi are proceeding to Lombardi's Pizzeria.

Brent frees his arms... He gets rid of his jacket. And now he's free falling!

Jaymes is now getting out of his straight jacket.

Josh & Brent are done the roadblock in 2nd.

Jaymes frees himself. They're right behind Beekmans. Chips' taxi is gone. All teams figure out their next clue is sending them to Lombardi's Pizzeria.
Title: Re: FINALE PARTY! SHOW updates and commentary *start: 800PM or later* note rules

Trexie arrives to Lombardi's first. Route info: Deliver 10 pizzas to 3 locations on foot. Teams will have to memorize 3 locations and deliver the pizzas. Lexi is remembering 2 addresses and Trey is remembering 1.

Beekmans arrive at Lombardi's. They start to deliver their pizzas.

Chips finally get a taxi.

Trey & Lexi deliver their first order. Beekmans deliver their first order. Trexie deliver their second order. Beekmans incorrectly deliver their second order... Trexie correctly delivers their last order. They're back to Lombardi's! Beekmans incorrectly deliver their third order...

Trey & Lexi get their next clue. Chips just arrive and begin to deliver their pizzas. Their next clue is an emblem of the United Nations. Proceed to the United Nations Headquarters and receive their next clue.

Trexie figure out it's the UN HQ and they're off by taxi.

Josh & Brent find out they made a mistake. They have to redo it.

Chippendales finally see it after fifteen minutes!

Trexie are still in first place!
Josh and Brent are in second place!

Trexie finds a RB! Roadblock: Suspended 15 stories upside down. Don't panic and escape, then free fall..

Brent in second place.

Followed by Chippendales.

All three teams are still at the same location! :O

Trey completed his Roadblock! And the other two teams are not even get started yet.

Teams need to go to first Pizzaria in NY.

Brent has escaped! Brent completed Roadblock in second place!

Chippendales are completing it!

Chippendales cab are gone.

It's Trey and Lexi's race to lose.

Teams need to deliver pizzas. They need to memorize address to screw up their brain memory.. TO PREPARE THEM TO SCREW UP THEIR MEMORY CHALLENGE.

LOL

Josh & Brent begin delivering their pizzas again. Chips start delivering their pizzas. Josh & Brent correctly deliver their 2nd order. Chips correctly deliver their first order. Josh & Brent correctly deliver their last order. Josh & Brent bicker a little bit. Chips correctly deliver their 2nd order. Beekmans figure out the emblem is the UN... and they're off to the United Nations Headquarters. Chips deliver their last order and it's correct. They ask about the emblem and they're off to the UN HQ as well.

Trexie arrive first... Roadblock! The other team member has to do it.

The team member will have to correctly join the hello and goodbye from the flags they're from. :cmas9 I LOVE THIS CHALLENGE. Once it's correct, they can raise the UN flag to get their last clue! Lexi is doing the challenge.

Beekman and Trexie have 2 correct each, and Chips have 1.

But everyone is getting the rest WRONG.

I think it's down to who's lucky enough to get it correct.

I actually think Chips may finish this first because they were the ones who always greeted the locals/taxi drivers and they are the only team I've heard from the F3 doing so.

Awful finish to the worst season on the history of the show besides the Family Edition. A team that didn't even come in 1st or 2nd the whole race besides the last leg won the 1 Million dollars. I really don't know how lucky a team can get on the Amazing Race. First they got a Non-Elimination Leg that saves them from elimination. Then they got saved because another team was U-Turned when Josh and Brent would have been the last place team. I have nothing against Josh and Brent, they seem like nice guys, but winners of this show? Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

Season 22 better be good because Season 21 was overall just a poor season. From the cast, to the locations, to the drama, the tasks, and the winners. I don't think you could say any 22 was good in any of those aspects. Maybe I am overreacting but Season 21 was an absolute failure. Locations weren't interesting, few interesting teams and awful winners.

I agree on EVERYTHING except the Family Edition part. At least the teams were decent and weren't awful and the race had good tasks despite being in North America(though notice 'edition' not a real TAR) and I liked it, way better than most races and dang more better than this hole that is TAR21.

ASDFGHJKL; THAT WAS A CLOSE/AMAZING ONE

Joys & Disappointments of the Finale:

Joys:
- Both Legs 11 & 12 had tight finishes.
- Better tasks, I guess, eh
- Lexi struggling; I actually would've been ok with them winning but they were boring.

Disappointments:
- Chips falling behind :cmas4 it was abacus lady all over again
- SO WHEN WE FINALLY HAVE A CHANCE AT A NIGHTTIME FINISH LINE, THE FINISH LINE ITSELF IS LOCATED INDOORS. OMG HOW BEAUTIFUL IT WOULD'VE BEEN IF THE FINISH LINE WAS AT ANY RANDOM PARK IN NYC..

I didn't want Beekmans to win but I came to love them in the finale. I don't know, I didn't appreciate the dream-team against them, so I started to root for them. Soooooo happy

im gonna agree and disagree with that. this WASNT a trainwreck season like some others, but it WASNT  terrific season. it was in the middle. this finale was spectacular, they were the best legs. and i did not realise the memory challenge would be such a bitch! i mean, they were out til night time! i am very dissapointed the beekmans won. dont get me wrong, i like them, but they werent deserving. if a deserving team wins, i'll be happy regardless if i like them or not. after leg 4, they either placed last or second last in every leg. now thats pretty poor if you ask me.
i love it when underdogs win, but not when they ran a completely **** race and were not strong at all! e.g. kisha and jen were NEVER in danger of elimination, but the beekmans were on the elimination list 7/12 legs. wth

Okay, I hate to say this but this is probably one of the best seasons ever! I'm not being biased but it was a spectacular finale. Nobody know who will win until 5 to 10 minutes before the show! WHATTTTTTTT?

Care to explain how this was one of the best seasons ever? I am wondering this because I think this was hands down the worst season besides Family Edition, which I don't even really count as a season.

Good for you that your rooting interest won, but Josh and Brent were the least deserving winners in the history of the show, and that isn't an opinion, its a fact that they they had the worst average placing of any team to ever win the show.

I also thought the locations were boring. Too much of China and Russia. Plus, two legs of Indonesia is pure torture. The rest of the locations were not too bad, but overall the route was awful, nothing new and nothing that interesting.

I also thought that there weren't that many interesting teams on the show. The final three might have been the most bland final three in the history of the show. A lot of people hated the Twins, but at least they brought some drama to the show, the rest of the teams were so non-conflictual and they were just not interesting.

But thats just my opinion. Care to explain what you thought made this one of the best seasons ever? Saying your rooting interest won doesn't count though. Any actual reasons?

The best part was the final task. It was anyone to win or lose.

Lexi slowed herself down with tears, that will win you nothing. A shame they were great racers.

The Chips were impressive with the Flags, congrats to them on finishing so fast. They have never come across as being the best at the mental challenges. Good guys.

The Josh and Brent won the final challenge and rightfully deserve the million. They methodically solved out that flag challenge. Just as deserving as the rest to win.

Remember never to buckle under pressure and you may will the race.

Beekman were the underdogs definitely, but I loved that this season was exciting every single leg such that Andy and Tommy or Rachel and Dave didn't win every leg. The final 6 teams all won legs and it was nice to watch that all the teams had capabilities and not just a one sided affair.

It was a refreshing change for a memory challenge, and Josh won the game for them with his maths problem way of solving the task. They took 2 hours plus to complete it and it was anybody's game.

This was a hard finale task and nobody, except the best could do it. Josh and Brent deserved to win as much as all other one leg winners does (Eric and Danielle coughs).

I loved how the Beekman ran their race, completely under the radar and then turning on their power to win the very last one. And it's not like they stumbled upon two NELs or what and crashed and burn throughout. They had some decent legs too. IMO Dan and Andrew were worst.

I believe all of us have our different favourites so just respect that okay? I was hoping Trey and Lexi would get it too but too bad, Lexi couldn't keep it calm. Chippendales seemed disappointed but... hey, they tried.

Great end to a great season. Would have been happy if any of the F3 teams won, since twinnies are not there. :cmaslol

I won't pretend to know so much because I didn't even watch Family Edition, I thought it was a waste of my time. I am purely just judging it on the concept of families racing around the United States, I don't find that very interesting. As far as the actual season was concerned, I didn't watch it, so maybe I am dead wrong. However, I just assumed it was awful.

Back to Season 21 though. This was just an awful season. People cloud their rooting interests and reality. Just because someone liked Josh and Brent doesn't mean this makes this one of the best seasons ever. Maybe they enjoyed this season the most because their rooting interest won, but enjoyment and reality are different. I have never clouded my rooting interest with reality. The season should be graded upon locations, drama, personalities of the teams, and how deserving the winner was. I don't think Season 21 did very well in any of those categories.

It DEFINITELY was not one of the worst seasons ever. It's not one of the best, but it was really good! We don't hate the Beekmans, we just think they dont deserve it based on the fact that they only used their skill at the very last challenge.

I also don't think the teams were incredibly interesting. The Twins were interesting whether you liked them or not, that you can't dispute. However, the other teams are basically seen on every season. Trey and Lexi are the young athletic couple, Chippendales are the Alpha-Males, Josh and Brent play the role of the underdog gays. I just don't think this cast was that interesting. I am not basing this off of one or two teams, I really think overall there were very few teams that were interesting.

The last thing I base it off is drama. Except for the twins, there was nothing. The twins created all the drama on this season. The rest of the teams were so non-conflictual.

Its not about not liking the winners. They didn't deserve to win. I am perfectly fine if a team wins that I didn't root for if they deserved to win, but if I see a team that didn't finish 1st or 2nd once besides the final leg, in addition to finishing last or second to last for every leg from leg 4 on, its not hard to put the pieces together that they didn't deserve to win.

Bangladesh, Turkey Indonesia were visited once.

Spain and France had locations never visited before

Shanghai/Moscow/Amsterdam yes recycled but what race doesn't

Still a good mix of a route even if not the best route imaginable.

Not one new country, and the same countries all over again. Thats a poor route. The winners were not deserving, and the teams were not interesting. The finale was good, I will give you that.

I will repeat once again. Just because your rooting interest won does not make it a good season.

I don't need to be told by anyone to switch to Survivor or anything like that. I didn't enjoy the season, it was boring, the teams were boring, the route was the same old route I have seen many times, and the winners were definitely not deserving. A bad season overall.

Thank goodness there is Survivor, because this season (and the last 2) of TAR were really really boring.

I will repeat once again. Just because your rooting interest doesn't win does not make it a bad season.

I don't need to be told by anyone that this is a bad season because your favourite team didn't win or anything like that. I enjoyed the season, it was exciting throughout, the teams were really competitive and there was a good mix of different personalities, the route was decent and some tasks were really MEMORABLE, and the winner will always be deserving. If you win, you win. A GREAT season overall.

There, see how perspectives can go. :cmas9

I completely agree. If you make it to the end, you deserve to win. Also, there is no requirement that you have to win a leg (other then the final one) to win the race. All you have to do is survive to the end. I am annoyed hearing people say oh they were saved by NEL too, NEL is just as much a part of the game as the U turn. Overall, I loved this season, was rooting for the Chips, but am very happy for the Beekmans.

Haterz gunna hate. Like it or not, Brent and Josh won and whinging won't change that fact :)

It was one of the best finales we've had in a LONG time. The whole underdogs story was amazing and tbh, it's nice to see underdogs win instead of dominating teams who've won leg after leg after leg. This was WAY better than Rachel & Dave last season (sorry Prophet  :cmas19)

Sure the route was horrid, but it really wasn't as bad as you all make it out to be. The Russian, Turkish and Holland legs were quite impressive everything else wasn't that bad so that was alright :) This 2 hour episode definitely made up for what was lacking in the season though imo :D Not the worst season by far.

Kudos to Josh and Brent!

This season, though, is particularly boring for me. For one, I never cared it is the finale tonight. I'm always ecstatic during finale days, but I don't know, this time, I'm not.

Also, I took a quick rewatch of the intro of the teams this season. I realized this is a boring cast for me. Well, they were edited that way. I just quite like Trey/Lexi. I love Natalie/Nadiya. James/Abba were rootable, but not that much. hmmzzz for Josh/Brent. Amy/Daniel who? Caitlin/Brittany who? Rob/Sheila who? Gary/Will had a good intro, but they were horrible, especially as fans! Abbie/Ryan LOVE. Jaymes/James LOVE. Rob/Kelley were obnoxious, well Rob is.

I also blame the editing big time (for the last three seasons of TAR). I still want the TAR17 edit in music, and cinematography or stuff like that lol, which is EPIC EPIC EPIC.

No. The race was not bad JUST because the worst team won. It was NOT because of that. It was because there were only 4 good teams through the whole race and the route was AWFUL.

Shanghai, okay nice city, though wheres the culture? As far as I'm concerned that hole of a leg could have taken place in any chinatown in America. Indonesia, the tasks were alright, but very linear and I got bored watching despite how much of a great nation Indonesia is. Bangladesh. Awful awful awful. If they would have focused on creating good tasks instead of focusing on the poverty it would have been better. Natalie & Nadiya saved Bangladesh. Turkey was a decent leg, fine, but Turkey can do better. The Amazing Race Production can do better. Moscow for the nth time. The library task was quite boring but the only good thing about the episode was the Olympic swim coachh and the key task was linear. 2nd Russia was linear with the space between teams, and was decent but TAR could do better in Moscow, the leg seemed forced. Amsterdam was a good leg, probably the best in the season. Then Spain was awful. It was just awful and it just seems like everyone has gotten lazy, I mean not even a new country? They had so MANY opportunities and they just WASTED them. Even the new locations. France was alright  but detours were unbalanced and the RB Sucked, as well as placement orders. The finale was crap crap crap. The final task that took hours came down to luck.

So no, it was not crap because the team who got 2nd to last EVERY leg starting from Bangladesh. It was crap because of the route and the cherry on top was the worst team winning. Thank you.

I loved the season because teams are what make up part of the entire season. I loved the teams this season and the cherry on top was a great final three with a great finale task and the entire outcome of the race was unexpected. Who would have expected James and Abba to lose their passports? Who would have expected Abbie and Ryan to be eliminated? Who would have expected Nadiya and Natalie to be eliminated? Who would have expected Josh and Brent to win?

Random race is random, but awesome. :xmas110

I don't give a damn about the tasks much, some tasks were lame and mediocre, but there were some really good ones.

This was actually one of my Favourite Final Threes ever on The Amazing Race (perhaps only topped by TAR3's and TAR18's Final Threes, and maybe TAR17's) because I actually liked all three teams. Was obviously cheering for Trexie, but I was fine with the Chips or the Beekmans winning.

But I do think it was an absolutely awful season. Only 16 and 19 were worse, in my opinion. However, the final leg was one of the best final legs in recent times.

I usually hate it when a team magically wins the last leg despite winning none before. USUALLY is the key word.

Before the finale, I did not want the goat farmers to win. Like other people were saying, I did not believe they deserved to win based on their past performance.
But I started to root for them when the twinnies were talkign smack about them on the train. I always feel so bad for teams who are mistreated for doing nothing wrong. You should never accuse someone of not wanting it more. Then they argued with the twinnies :cmas22. That was clever arguing to distract them from the actual task. Great job Goat Farmers, use your brains to get yourselves ahead. To top it all off, they were able to get 3rd in such an exciting finish.

Leg 12 begins, I doubted they would win due to the hometown curse. What I loved about this finale is that the editing did not reveal who won. Each of the final 3 got equal edits. I was so happy for them to finish that final task. AND THEN WIN!!!!

They had so much against them: delayed flights, being forced to do the synchronied swimming, people who hated thme and would do anything to get rid of them (TWINNIES :cmas12), that I do think that, despite their lackluster rankings, they did deserve to win. I was not a fan of you guys before this evening, but now, GREAT JOB AND GOOD LUCK WITH THE FARM!

This phrase covers it all.  They deserved to win, because they were fastest team in the final task, in spite of the vitriol spewed at them by the Twinnies.  They were such a loudmouthed homophobic pair, I was ecstatic to see them gone, especially beaten out by the team they were bullying.

I was cheering for the Chippies, but am content with the Beekmans, as they fought hard in the last few legs.

I bet Abby and Ryan were back flipping when Josh&Brent arrived...   :cmas50

I remembered posting something here before that goes like this
"The Chippendales didn't need to U-Turn Abby&Ryan (and saving Josh&Brent). They're so far behind. If Josh&Brent end up winning, they're gonna look back at this."

Can't believe it actually happened.  :cmas5

Don't get me wrong, I like Josh&Brent. But seeing them winning is absolutely horibble.
I am a huge fan of Dave&Rachel, and compared them to Josh&Brent, OH MY GOD I think I am gonna do the backflip myself.  :cmas22

a team who took a freaking penalty at a detour, ended up winning. Oh heaven!
If they took a penalty like how Rob and Amber took a penalty in season 7, I wouldn't mind cause It was good move.but the way they took it, oh man!

but anyway, congratulations to Josh&Brent  :cmas26

no nothing's wrong. it's just not quite pleasant for us fans.
a team who was penalized for not completing a task ended up winning. penalized for using wrong transportation and still winning is one thing, but penalized for not completing a detour and winning, it's not good

I don't see your logic. A team who gets penalized for using wrong transportation because they did not read the clue properly (which is their own fault) and win is acceptable.

But a team who gets penalized four hours because one detour option was not available and they did not get to continue trying the detour they were doing anymore because the pool was closing (which is obviously not their fault) and win is unacceptable. Please note that even James and Abba managed to complete the Detour, despite how pathetic we've seen they were. A few more tries and I'm sure Josh and Brent would have gotten the clue, if not for the hours of operation.

Is it rather unpleasant for you only? Because I don't quite get your logic. And I'm sure others don't too, even if they are not a Beekman lover.

I will say that I consider this one of the best final legs ever, mainly because it was heavily mental as opposed to the heavily physical one last season. Having teams take almost three hours to complete the final challenge really shows how the difficulty spiked. Consequently, I think this hello-goodbye task is one of the strongest candidates for a Switchback in future seasons (who else thinks we'll see this next year in TARAus?)

Yes it's not their fault because the pool is closing or whatever.

Sure, Josh & Brent deserved to win. They're just like the other winners, you know like Dave&Rachel, or Nat&Kat, or Meghan&Cheyne.  :cmas23

It's one of those things that could only be used once.
Switchback Roadblock is usually something that has things to do physically or with luck.
Besides, as of right now, I bet all of the upcoming teams will take notes for something like this and if a switchback RB like this appears, they'll be done in like no time

I still would've preferred the Chips to win though... :P

And the 'whoever  has the $1,000,000 quote for that season will win' curse (is it a curse?) has been broken!

I don't know maybe Jaime & Cara's "This Is How You Lose A Million Dollars" has broken it all. Well, I don't know if that counts :cmaslol

To be honest, I think this is definitely much much better than Season 20. For me, at least. :hides

I didn't enjoy season 20 like the way I enjoy this season. This season is really entertaining, with the most of the teams are really great, a lot of nail-biting results almost each leg, good challenge (yeah, some tasks are not good, like racing with the bulls, but at least it has something with the culture compared than rappel down in Italy, seriously).

The finale is great. I love that hidden clue. It's really smart. I am sure teams spent a hell amount of time there. The Houdini-Roadblock is awesome! It's really cool, with that straight jacket and that hanging. Pizza tasks are good, too, since I think its purpose to distract teams' mind before the final challenge. Hello-goodbyes task is perfectly executed. It will be lame if there's no bunching. It surprises me too to see they really took a lot of time to do this challenge. That must be difficult.

Overall, this season will be in half top position in my rankings. I am sure there will be many teams from this season to be back for next All Stars since most of them are All-Star worthy! :cmas9

Hoping for much better in Season 22.

I think I must agree with you.
Dan and Jordan was the worst winner up until last night.
At least Dan and Jordan had some strategies back in season 16. They took it slow on purpose and just strike at the end.

While Josh and Brent is like "You know what, Let's just get there and do this together." It's like they don't actually care. Even Ryan realized it when he said "They got what they need going further in the race" before he realized there are no more empty slots in U-Turn mat  :cmaslol.

When Brent said "We would have you guys U-turned us and we'll do this thing together." I was like  :cmas18 "HELL NO! What the f*ck? Just freaking go!" Yes that was so nice.... but this is not "The Amazing Friends".

Even Phil is not so excited I think. These are some of Phil tweets about final three as I could remember :
"Congrats #Chippendales on the new Fords"
"#Trey may have future in magic. I don't think Houdini himself could escape from that faster than him"
"Beekmans never won a leg, but they are from NY. Home advantage? Oh well!"

God Ryan is such a baby in there. When Jaymes&James and Trey&Lexi walked in he just stood there like he didn't care. Seriously like grow up! People said this season is a lot like season 16, well I guess they are right. We got a male version of Brandy up there. (remember Brandy who got so upset over Caite for U-turning her.) I wonder how will he be if he got evicted from the BB House?

And he tweeted something like "...the winner will get a free chippendale show". He said in his interview that he dated Jaymes V. He was so upset he got U-Turned. What a baby! Go talk to Kris&Amanda they got u-turned twice they're doing just fine

I once thought that the editors may not like him that's why he didn't get a very good editing. But now I think the editors are just being real and honest.

well,  The Twins and The Chippendales have really strong edits I guess they'll be in All Stars no questions.

Not so sure about Trexie. Their edit was not that sharp even though they won most legs.

Abby&Ryan, James&Abba and maybe Amy&Daniele for another Unfinished Business seasons.

The winners never really got a strong edit actually. DaveRachel ended up being boring winners. Booper's way more famous. I love'em though they're awesome.  Ernie&Cindy's are just plain boring. Nat&Kat's? I don't know I was too busy laughing at Brook&Claire. Dan&Jordan's, well Jet&Cord was in there too so..  :cmas16

My fav reaction when teams entered were of the twins. One was clapping and the other had their jaw on the floor saying OMG!  :cmaslol :cmaslol :cmaslol

At least 4 teams I can see back:
Nadiya/Natalie and the Chippendales for an all stars run (that is now three straight seasons where a M/M team could likely make an all stars version with M/B and A/T)

James/Abba and Ryan/Abbie for another unfinished business for obvious reasons.

I don't think Andy&Tommy are capable for All Stars though. Yes they won like half the race but they ain't no stars. Unfinished Business certainly. Put Bill&Cathy in All Stars  :cmaslol (I am  dead serious! if they're looking for an old couple All-Stars)

Poor cast, and for most of the race poor tasks and locations too.  Possibly in my bottom 5 of all seasons.  And I agree Dan and Jordan were bad winners, though overall that season may have been more memorable for me.  To get back on track they might learn from the last Australian season which was classic.

The memory task featured languages so I guess that favoured the goat farmers as one of them seemed to be good in that area.  Would have preferred Trey and Lexi to win, though she did have a breakdown eventually (as I predicted several weeks ago).  Wonder if she finished that memory task or if they were just told to go to the finish...

The Chippendales were a pretty weak team mentally, they only u-turned Abbie and Ryan because of pressure from the twins, not because of their strategy.

Also when a team says they are the 'good guys' that's a bit annoying, I'll decide for myself who the good guys are.  Reminds me of BJ and Tyler.

And when the farmers said it was winner takes all that was quite obviously wrong.  Teams who don't win can actually still get a lot of prize money.  Obviously the producers don't like people knowing that they want the focus to be completely on who wins.

Awful finish to the worst season on the history of the show besides the Family Edition. A team that didn't even come in 1st or 2nd the whole race besides the last leg won the 1 Million dollars. I really don't know how lucky a team can get on the Amazing Race.

Take a look at AR11, where Eric and Danielle won despite not winning a single leg before the finale. The same applies to AR18 where LaKisha and Jen never won any leg until the finale. Both were All-Star seasons.

Let's do some basic arithmetic regarding the number of teams that might qualify for the third AllStars season, which I expect to be around AR25. That means that the pool of talent would be from 6 seasons. 12 teams divided by 6 seasons is 2 teams per season! Also, it is entirely possible that some teams from the past (particularly Colin and Christie) will be asked to participate. I think it is a certainty that no team who has been on 2 seasons already will be selected for the 3rd All Star season.

So, what does this mean? Those who postulate this team or that team but in some cases 7 teams from AR21 are in for a nasty fall in my opinion.

Congratulations to the goat farmers. Poor Lexie, tired and frustrated. but hey you won several trips. At least each of the final 5 won at least 1 leg.
Wonder how Abbie or Ryan would have fared on the last task. Would James & Jaymes have won if they had not u-turned A & R? Possible. The final task too over 2 hours. Ouch.
It is funny how the Beekman's pretty much had last place until the very end.
Loved the show. Loved the enthusiasm of all (except the Beekman's), but they were nice.
I think the most boring winners were Dave & Rachel.

Erm, apskip... maybe not 7 teams but 5 teams is always possible. Look at TAR 18 which is literally TAR 14 and friends.

yeah and 4 of those teams got booted out 11th,10th,9th,8th...  :cmaslol

I would say yes maybe to Margie&Luke, Amanda&Kris (Two hotties only in TAR 18  :kisses, well and Mallory I guess), and Kisha&Jen

But Mel&Mike and Jaime&Cara?  :mas25
Tony&Dallas and Brook&Claire would be so much better  :cmas16 :cmas16

Abby&Ryan, James&Abba and maybe Amy&Daniele for another Unfinished Business seasons.

i would love to see lots of this season's teams again in a future season, but those three you said are definitely the top contenders
i hope NaNa come back though

Overall, this season will be in half top position in my rankings. I am sure there will be many teams from this season to be back for next All Stars since most of them are All-Star worthy! :cmas9

I wouldn't be surprised either! They did a really good job casting. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if this is TAR14 for the next AS!

Really, guys, really?

I want the Chips, Trexi, Twinnies, Amy/Daniel and Abby/Ryan in the next AS, which I think is enough.

for an "Unfinisihed Business" theme season, yes!!!  :cmas16 those three would be fit right in.

but if it's an "All Stars" season, both The Twins and The Chippendales have a really strong and good edits this season.
I guess they both would be first on list to come back for AllStars

Just like Bopper and Mark last season...

Brooke and Claire were asked to participate, but one of them was pregnant and they declined  :cmas4. I hat ehow Amanda and Kris were invited back. They didn't really do much to be invited, they got eliminated leg 4 (at least Zev and Justin lost their passports.)

Amy & Daniel are one of the few early boots that actually showed potential, and I wish they'd bring them back.

Yes they didn't make it far but they did have some unfinished business to do...  :cmas9

(well I personally think they got invited back because the season needed a good-looking eye-candy couple.) ):cmaslol

yeah, Claire was pregnant, so they declined. I really want them in the next All Stars (is it possible pick team from TAR 17?). They are definitely one of the strongest Female-Female teams in TAR history. And they are FUN...!!! I love their spirit  :cmas9

Wait, Brook & Claire are awesome characters in the race, they are all-stars material, but for Unfinished Business, not sure if they had a big of a story as Ronald & Christina or Jet & Cord... what made them lose the $1 million racing around L.A. County unlike the listed above? I only totally remember the last half of the finale when they arrive at the Rose Bowl floats via helicopters.

I think that their late arrival at the Rose Bowl was primarily caused earlier. It could have been bad seating on the flight, delay in getting a taxi at LAX or driver error getting from LAX to the Long Beach docks. The fact is that Claire/Brook were far behind at the first checkpoint of the Long Beach docks and never recovered from that.
