I didnt REALLY mean I was bumping. I was really just bitching and moaning about the fact that we have all these people here that have been preparing for days saying that they would be able to capture the teams at LAX when the race started but we have little info so far. I understand that it is rude of me to act like that if there are people who have taken pictures and gathered info but havnt been able to post it yet.

We have had twins on season 2,3,19,20 and 21. The last male african-american twin team was in Season 3. I think its safe to say they will bring something different to the table as opposed to the Twinnies and Liz and Marie and definitely Elliot and Andrew who I can hardly remember guys! But its funny - we asked for twins for so long after the Doublemints, and then all of a sudden its four in a row :P

Personally, I'm not that sad to see Indonesia again. Yes it was visited for two legs two seasons ago, yes we just had two awful legs there this season in the same island. But now it's Bali, and it has never been visited before (I just hope that it's not another two legs, then I'll be pissed off - except if they go to Sulawesi or a remote island - but then again, they just went to Tahiti one leg ago).Actually, Bali had been visited in TAR Asia 1. :)
I just hope that they'll visit Nepal or Laos in the next legs to keep up with the first good locations that we have.

Bali is interesting as it has a unique culture from the rest of Indonesia. Well Indonesia is ethnically diverse anyway.
I'm not disappointed they went to Bali, but I hope this season is geographically diverse. They just had 2 legs in a tropical island. Now they're in Bali. I hope they visit mountainous regions, crowded cities, picturesque towns in the upcoming legs. It's winter. I hope they at least visit a snow clad region perhaps in Northern Europe.
I think the route so far is inspired. And a leg in Nepal with the Himalayas is just what HD TAR needs. Canterbury region of New Zealand is really gorgeous, so that'll be awesome and Tahiti and Bora Bora are iconic places, and from what I've heard the tasks sound awesome. Add to that the definite story of the Father/Son, the grumpy-fiercely competitive asian team and the awesome older Alabama team, plus heaps of other entertaining looking racers, I think we have a real season on our hands. Now all that we need is for the editors to do it justice...goodness I am hoping.

I disagree with this so much, Europe is my favorite continent for the race to visit. But dont worry, due to many legs in europe in Season 21, Season 22 will probably only have 2-3 legs in europe.
How about 0 legs mainland Asia and 0 legs Europe? This is quite feasible given where there now are. You only need 7 legs in Africa and South America/Caribbean.
I'm thinking, how can TAR not be spoiled in BALI? It's filled with Australians and Americans! :lol:

Not exactly. We have 8 legs with the one in process right now. Here are the most probable continent orders:
Africa to South America to U.S.

I doubt that the route will get within 2000 miles of Europe, so 6 continents is a non-starter if I am right.
Not a flight expert, but after making a couple of research and seing the huge cost difference between flights from Africa to South America (most of them passing through Europe or Middle East) and Africa to Europe, I doubt that they'll go to SA. :(

I understand you perfectly. In the first years, long before I joined RFF, we had to dig deep in the net to get some info, then came the international versions, then came the social media, then came the strike and TAR filming was moved up, then organizations, then institutions, then everyone was racing...
Now we not only have all of that, but we have people imagining themselves on the race... It is crazy!
Someday we might even find out that Forrest Gump started it all! :lol3:

Guys, listen. Melbourne is a great place to live, probably the best in Australia, but if you want to design a leg in Metro Melbourne, you will find it very hard. The only way to get around this is go to Ballarat/Great Ocean Road/Phillip Island.

I will speak only for my country. You're only saw a glimpse of things that Argentina can offer. TAR has preferred in last seasons the south of the country - Bariloche, Ushuahia - mostly, making an exception with Mendoza and the leg and two half legs in Buenos Aires (TAR5 and TAR7/20). Salta is an example of exploring the northwest, which furthermore have traditions deep based on indigenous traditions. They can choose the northeast - Iguazú Falls is the iconic place (already visited in TAR2, but on the brazilian side) - but the zone called Mesopotamia has a lot of possibilities -; the center - provinces like Córdoba and San Luis have outstanding landscapes -, the Atlantic Coast has never been visited - you should experience the whales sightings in Puerto Madryn, Chubut, and it would be an awesome thing to watch on TV -; and the west - without Mendoza - also has places that can be used wisely. And all of them without the necessity of use the urban cities.

And Team A would be like "Hey you know what team B has just arrived. They're weak, they get lost a lot, if we U-TURN team C (4th team) and then void another U-TURN, TEAM C will be dead last. We'll just cut a deal to tell them they owe us one. Besides, we're keeping a weaker team than us which is good."
what's the point of the amazing "race" then? it's not even a race anymore. If team B literally pass team C because of the U-TURN, there's no point in calling it a "race", not because of another team's effort.

I see your point and I never thought of it like that, but any good racer would probably systematically go through them and only use their memory to see what others have done.
It kinda sorta also reminds me of the dune buggie hourglass task in TARAus 1, you have to know which ones you have done and which one's other people have done, but there is still a whole bunch of luck involved imo, which I don't like. Leave the luck to taxi drivers and other stuff, not tasks.

im not sure if they are having a proper start line task BUT THEY ARE DEFINITELY HAVING THE TEAM INTRODUCTIONS. THEY DONT SHOW IT IN THE SNEAK PEEK BECAUSE THEY WANT TO SAVE IT FOR THE ACTUAL EPISODE. GAH

This season, everything is focused on Dave and Connor and each and every leg I feel like throwing up when they mention the word 'cancer'. Yes, I get it. MOVE ON.
I am going to bitch about the comments made at David and Connor:
Well the trying to do whatever it takes to win a leg makes sense. They know they are not going to win the race, so they might as well try to win as many prizes before they eventually leave the show. TRUST ME, you would ALL do the same if you were in their situation.
Also, why are people still complaining about the cancer story being forced? They barely mentioned cancer in episode 4!!! The only time I felt it force was episode 2, but that was because of the crazy ending.
Of course this team would get the majority of airtime! David is racing with a moon boot! No contestant has ever ran with an injury like this on the show ever. (I haven't seen international versions btw)
I just love David and Connor. Most people would just leave the show after injuring their achillies. But the fact they stayed and are actually winning legs is just amazing :luvya:.
These guys in my opinion, are the most inspiring team EVER IN THE AMAZING RACE HISTORY!

I know peach, I don't blame Dave and Connor at all and actually liked them on the first episode. Then seeing how he raced to the pitstop just so he can win the leg and injured himself (which is dumb), using the Express Pass when they don't really need it (which is also dumb) and then cheating at last leg's Roadblock (which is sly), my respect and liking for this team is 0% right now.
I honestly wouldn't mind them if it wasn't the "David & Connor's Amazing Adventure in a moon boot (+ bonus footage of 8 other teams racing around the world)". It's not them I don't like David & Connor as people, it's the fact that their whole ordeal is rammed down my throat for a full 10 minutes every episode, for four straight legs. I also kinda don't like how they're portrayed to be so inspirational and defy-all-the-odds people when they're clearly just as competent as everyone else - they've won two legs with a moon boot for god sake. It's not like they're struggling or anything :res: Nice people, I get it. But their edit is extremely irritating.

The second most bonehead move of AR22 has been David and Connor not waiting out the fishing expedition a little longer. That pond was stocked so that you could hardly miss catching a trout. If they had continued doing it and not used their Express Pass then they still would almost for sure have caught a trout and finished first in that episode. Then they could have extended their stay in AR22 by one more episode by and gotten one more prize once they did use it to skip a ROADBLOCK.

Rachel NZ looked amazing in that leg, I dont know what episode you have watched.I like WRP visiting the South Island of New Zealand since it is beautiful there, but the tasks just told me nothing about the culture or landscape of the mountainside terrain. I at least wanted to see tasks using the landscape as an advantage like sheep herding or another Zorb task down the side of the mountain into a lake or something. The fishing task was using the landscape, but isn't that exciting.

I think people were only moaning this week's leg for being linear because the first team had a sizable lead, which wouldn't have existed had not half of the teams bald snarked half an hour into the first side of the Detour. It's not bad design, it's bad teams putting themselves behind.
I thought the cast of TAR 21 was much more likeable... I'm finding it hard to root for anyone in TAR 22. I'm not crazy about anyone.

well probably because most of the tar 21 casts were great to watch. Jaymes&James_Natalie&Nadiya were good TV. Trey&Lexi and Abby&Ryan were competitive as hell
but since they left Istanbul, it wasn't so much race anymore, and more DRAMAS, in airport, losing passports, let's U-TURN them ,and stuffs like that. In 2nd leg of Russia, none of them looked like racing at all. JJ&Trexie literally run the leg together happy like it was not even a race, NatalieNadiya AbbyRyan and JoshBrent ran the leg alone as if they were five hours each behind, so did in Amsterdam, except this time it was Josh&Brent and Abby&Ryan together.
this season we got more competitive teams and we actually see them raced each other, neck in neck. Even not-so-strong teams like Caroline&Jennifer and Chuck&Wynona could play catch up, and not just because other teams got lost by their cab driver, or their plane got delayed, or one team lost their passport, or something like that. probably that's why I liked this season's cast better

BuuYaa, Polaroid is talking about likability and rootable factor for a team, not circumstances that happened on the race that made this season better. There's a huge difference.
I disagree Dan, FF on a linear leg literally gave Bates and Anthony the win this leg. I agree that had the FF been on last leg, and 3 teams were allowed on the first flight, it will make for some really good FF moments VS-ing etc.
Whenever anyone says "cast" I think the ENTIRE cast. So when someone says "TAR 21 Cast" I'm not only thinking NaNa, Jaymes & James (who I liked), I'm also thinking Gary & Will :groan: , Rob & Kelley :groan: , Caitlin & Brittany :groan: who were really boring imo.
When I compare both casts .. it's pretty much TAR 22 > TAR 21
