I was thinking about all the teams I couldn't remember even if I tried forever, and I wondered if this changed from person to person. The worst offenders for me were:
Cyndi & Russell (TAR2): The only thing I can remember from them is that: a) they were pastors who thought that God would help them on the race and b) They picked up a clue from a RB in Thailand.
Cindy & Russel (TAR4): Who were these people? I can only remember them stepping onto a pitstop mat and getting eliminated.
David & Jeff: The team thought of when it comes to unmemorableness. I can only remember them completing the FF in Brisbane and waiting in Sydney for the flight that made them a day late.
But the ultimate unmemorable award goes to:
Katie & Rachel: After I watched TAR17 for the first time, I went back and looked at all the teams, and I could not remember ANYTHING about them. Everything drew a blank. I rewatched the season about 2 weeks ago and now can only remember them in a car and running to the Pitstop.

I forgot half the teams from TAR 20 except for the Final 6. And that's bad cause it's just last season.

The most unmemorable teams are those who you don't even think they were ever on the show. :lol:
By now I can only pick up one example--the second team eliminated on China Rush S1. A lot of people have almost no memory about this Mexican team.

I normally remember their names and know which place they got eliminated... Katie and Rachel are not that bad.. I know they got eliminated just because there was no bunching for the leg they were racing.

TAR 16 - Monique & Shawne, Dana & Adrian
TAR 15 - Garrett & Jessica
These are some of the teams I bet most of you can't even remember post all-stars season. :lol:

The most unmemorable teams are the teams with no story regarding their elimination other than finishing last for being too slow or are pretty much ignored during their elimination episode.
TAR 2 - Hope/Norm
TAR 3 - Gina/Sylvia
TAR 5 - Bob/Joyce
TAR 10 - Vipul/Arti
TAR 12 - Kate/Pat ? (the married lesbians)
TAR 13 - Anthony/Stephanie, Ty/Aja
TAR 14 - Brad/Victoria
TAR 15 - Marci/Ron
TAR 16 - Monique/Shawn
TAR 17 - Andi/Jenna ? (real birth mother and adopted daughter)
TAR 19 - Ron/Bill, Jeremy/Sandy (the least memorable finalists in TAR history)
TAR 20 - the female border patrol agents (I forgot their names)
TAR 21 - Rob/Sheila

The only reason I remember them was because when I first joined RFF, David had a picture of them as his avatar. :lol:

I just started watching season 16 again, and I was all "...woah! it is like watching a whole new season" because a lot of the teams were so invisible the first time!

Season 16 wasn't that bad. The final 8 teams were at least memorable. :lol: Or maybe because that was the season they visited Singapore so I particularly remembered the final 5 teams...

Screentime/editing NOT personality is what makes a team memorable/unmemorable imo...
And I am going to disagree majorly with Jessica and Garrett being on here....having the pleasure of having gotten to know them post race, I think had they survived further they would have been hard to beat...both are very well travelled, fluent in several languages, smart, athletic and very fun...and charming!! Y'all would have LOVED them. :'(

I agree. The first eliminated team in the present season I can't remember anything about actually, certainly they had less coverage/drama than the first team last season (which had a decent cast I thought).

My pick for most unmemorable team is Brad & Victoria from TAR 14. They were just as invisible as Anthony & Stephanie and they lasted one leg longer. B & V were hardly shown in the first 2 legs. In leg 3, after B & V took a risk and missed their flight connection at the beginning of the episode, B & V were absent from the episode until Phil eliminated them at the end. Besides, even though this shouldn't cont, Anthony and Stephanie were the stars of season 13 Elimination Station.

You know, the Insider Vids are the place to get to know teams a lot better. There is a lot of story development in those vids that there is just not time to show during the 42-ish minute episode. Brad and Victoria had an excellent storyline with a lot developed in those vids...Victoria's challenges with her multiple hip operations, why the race was so important to Brad....they were definitely not invisible, I felt we were really given a very personal glimpse into them!

Anita & Arthur are goddesses, js. Brad & Victoria weren't that unmemorale, at least I still know how they got eliminated and they threw cakes at each other.

Dani and Danielle were on Season 9. Or on season 11: Eric and Danielle.

Really? TAR 9 is the one season I remember everything about the teams. Season 19 had a lot of unmemorable teams.

...TAR 12 had one of the most memorable casts ever. Kynt and Vyxsin, Ron and Christina, Grandpa Don & the kid, Lorena and Jason...they did pretty good IMO

Oh my why you forget them lol... Well i watched season 4 above so i dont know your first 2 lines really... David jeff, final 3 and never made to the finish line right? Meredith and maria, sisters with curly hair? Oh i love kelly and jamie, fighting for last with the bamas? I remember jeremy more than sandy. Just ying to remember too. :)

The only ones in that list I even want to remember are probably Rontina, but even they were overrated :| Just my opinion
One of the most unmemorable teams for me is Julia & Marianna. Sooooooooooooo boring, even Ari & Staella and the ministers are more memorable then them.

Going to go with David and Jeff, and Jeremy and Sandy.
David and Jeff seemed nice enough, but out of all the teams that made the final 3, they are the only ones I tend to forget. they didn't get much screen time, they were overly likable or despised, they were just sort of there.
Same goes for Jeremy and Sandy, though I remember them a bit more because it's a more recent season.
I base this mainly on the fact that both teams reached the final 3 without much fanfare, there wasn't much to go off when it came to them, they both seem nice, but they aren't memorable at all. I expect some low-placing teams not not be as remembered, they weren't around as much, but when it comes to the top 5/6 in each season, most people remember them and have developed opinions on them, these two seem almost too generic.

I know. I can kinda picture them but I definitely don't remember a single thing they did or said. I don't remember them being in the F3 even. I remember the other 2 teams perfectly, but not them.

David & Jeff were more memorable that Jeremy & Sandy by far even though the 2 guys didn't have much personality. It was quite amusing to see those 2 physical guys struggle so much doing the life guard Fast Forward in Australia. Also, David & Jeff were the only Final 3 team to duplicate what the Guidos achieved by being eliminated in race and not cross the Finish Line. Jeremy & Sandy were a generic couple that managed to finish the race without anything significat happening to them.

Lol i know the name but it confuses me so much... Im confused with teams with either kris or jon in their name.

Shockingly, I completely forget about some of the S9 teams momentarily like Lisa & Joni, Wanda & Desiree, Eric & Jeremy ( :o ), and Lake & Michelle. The only teams I found interesting were Fran & Barry and BJ & Tyler. The route was kinda messed up with the Brazil - Russia and Australia mid-show connection.

All I could think of from TAR16 before their elimination was Jody & Shannon. :lol: But that's probably just me. The clown couple and team lime green weren't in for long, one of the reasons people don't remember them. Funny I can remember the early eliminated teams better than winners like Freddy & Kendra and TK & Rachel. :duno:

^ First team eliminated from TAR9. Not super-memorable except for the fact that one of them was terrified of flying and overcame it by coming on the race.

I found myself not remembering the first few eliminated teams in TAR 12, TAR 16, TAR 19 and TAR 20... and it's only last 2 seasons but I can't remember their names... :cmaslol
