Depends where you live or what stream you use. Not all areas get it at 8:22. I get it at 8:00 ;)
Is it just me or the Roadblock is too easy? :stare

Yeah, I think it is too.

Why do they have to put their mouth on that?Because that's the way to lift the lion's head
Yay Abby Ryan
Oh my god this episode is great so far!!!
Caitlin & Brittany's driver got them lost. They switch drivers. Gary & Will arrive at the U-Turn before Caitlin & Brittany. They can't decide whether to U-Turn Caitlin & Brittany or Rob & Kelley because they don't know who is behind. Commercial.

I really hope Gary & Will U-Turn Caitlin & Brittany. That would make it so much more dramatic.
Yay Abby Ryan
Hate Brittany Caitlin! Stuck up b*tches! lol
It was an incredible finish, Gary and Will who u-turn Rob&Kelley and this team has finish the leg, Caitlin&Britany who are lost...U-Turn doesn't have 100% kill-rate again!
Okay right, Rob & Kelley u-turned Gary & Will so why did Gary & Will u-turn Rob & Kelley?Because it's Blind Double U-Turn. Gary & Will didn't know who U-Turned them

Um I liked them. They enjoyed it unlike half empty michigan midgets who didnt give a crap.

The Michigan team are huge fans of the show and I can tell they're enjoying it. :) I don't know what Caitlin and Brittany were doing on the show, they were kinda random.
This was the finished Phil mentioned in some pre-season interviews about two teams racing to the mat neck-and-neck, and one team went left and the other team went right at a fork, and that made the difference.
Gary and Will have been very lucky, but history suggests that at some point their luck is likely to run out.
it was blind einstein
I'm still unsure if I liked the train in the middle of the leg. (Kind of) makes the Roadblock unimportant. It seperated the teams, it also did helped the drama in the double U-Turn since it basically came down to the bottom 4.Without the train ride, there wouldn't be a reason to use the U-turn because (on paper) the RB was "easy". How many plate-breaking shots were shown? Not that many. The RB was already misplaced to begin with (serving Sumatran cuisine in Java... :res: ).

If the RB was in the same town/city as the Detour, we wouldn't have the scene with the top 4 of the 5 teams making a pact not to use it, whilst the bottom 4 are strategizing because they know they're behind.
I think we need a team of taxi drivers next season!:hearts:
Yay Abby Ryan
But they won the third leg :'(
3 Hours between trains :oh1050am - 736am = 3 1/4 hours between trains.
The teams on the train are getting pretty competitive. They're all willing to U-Turn.

Huh? Not one of the first 6 teams elected to U-turn anybody. Since they had no knowledge of what was going on for the way-behind second group, only the first group would have been a potential target. Although some teams made it sound altruistic, their decision not to U-Turn anyone made perfect sense. It preserves their right to U-turn for any that happen later in the race. If they had used it on any other team, the 15 minutes or so that it cost that team would not have made any appreciable difference in the finish results.

If the U-Turn wasn't blind, they would have known Caitlin & Brittany were the only team behind them. :oh

How would Gary/Will have known? They did not know due to the anonymous aspect that Rob/Kelley U-turned them and those 3 teams were the only ones on the 1050am train to Bangil.

Nobody deserves to go home because of getting lots of bad taxis. I heard excuses from people on another forum about the last episode with people saying they can't have tried different taxis (even though they did). I think people want to think the right elimination happened and so think badly of whoever gets eliminated. I actually liked their passion for the race, which I think was better than the team that survived. I suspected they would get eliminated though because they showed them being overly confident in an earlier interview segment.
The tasks still pretty much suck, either too easy or too quick. The main drama is still who gets the most bad taxi drivers. Maybe they should make the taxi drivers the stars of the show?
I know bad cabs should never be the reason to eliminate a team (Amy and Daniel and the blondes)... but sometimes teams just have to be decisive and leave or grab another cab if they sense something is wrong. I know it's easy for us to say but when on the real race, situations and scenarios are different.
HOWEVER, for Caitlin and Brittany's case, I was shocked when they realized that Gary and Will turned another direction, AND they knew how badly their driver sucked, didn't stop him immediately and follow them till death. It was their lack of decision making that caused them the race. The blondes knew that they could outrun those two any day, so why split apart? If both teams go the wrong direction, then so be it.. at least they are together. It is very different from Amy and Daniel's case where everything is out of their control and even though they abandoned their cab, it was too late. The blondes had the choice to make a decision to follow Gary and Will, instead of going left... but they didn't. And that caused their elimination, IMHO.
But I thought they did change taxi drivers several times during the day, same with the team which was eliminated last week. How are they supposed to know whether they have finally got a decent taxi driver or not? I think, again, it's just people making excuses for the result to try and make the race look better.
Keep in mind that the editors do tell you things by implication; if a team keeps having problems with one taxi driver (or a series) they may show a couple of quick clips of those without beating us over the head about it, especially in this phase of the Race with a lot of teams, and multiple locations to cover. The blondes were shown making all sorts of mistakes before that last ride to the pit stop. They wasted a lot of time trying to find the location for the U-Turn, and kept going over the same (incorrect) territory without thinking it through.
I can;t believe they didn't ask locals about the location they were given, because it seems to me any resident would have recognized the intersection with little trouble. So their elimination was due to their making mistakes that were even bigger than Gary-Will, who seem to make enough of them as it is.
I love the randomness of this season... now if... Ryan and Abbie didn't win last leg...
Okay, but they are nice people!!
