Quick Recap thus far:
Teams are on one of two buses to Banff, Canada.
The first one departing at 8AM carries Paul & Steve and Cops
Second and last one departs at 9AM and carries the three sets of siblings.
Once there, they need to make their way to Wild Bill's Saloon and ride a Mechanical Bull for 60 seconds (between both team members)
Teams are able to go over 60 seconds for an additional prize..
All teams just want to beat Paul and Steve's time and all do so, Groseph and Shandrew battling it out for the mystery prize :)

Oops, I missed the beginning of the show being back on! :lol:
Apparently the cops won the prize... 30 min head start on the other teams.
Teams now head to the junk yard at the base of Rundle mountain to find their next clue. HoO from 8.30am - 4PM
Cops enter at 8.30 and find a roadblock - climb a 25 meter frozen waterfall.
Shane completes it without much trouble and they leave before the other start.
DETOUR: Search or Ski?
Search - Find a receiver in 400square kilometres of snow to trade it for the next clue.
Ski - Complete a Slalom course to receive the next clue
At 9AM, Jo, Lucy, Paul and Joseph elect to do the roadblock. Paul does well and finishes second, Jo and Joseph struggle and finish in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Lumelia in last with Lucy stuggling really badly. Emilia is worries about her. BREAK

Cops are at Lake Louise doing the Detour.. chose to do SKI
Shane is alright at it, Andrew not so good :lol: They finish after their second attempt after going through the wrong flags at the end during their first try.
Paul & Steve choose Search, after Steve explains he can't ski :lol: Paul compromises to do search even though he's a black ski runner They don't get anywhere and consider switching
Groseph and Twins at Ski together.. Jo does well, Michelle struggles a lot.
Grace falls over a local who tells her how to ski (:lol:) and she ends up making it to the end.. Now she's yelling at Joseph to listen to her and hurry up :res:

Groseph finish the detour in second. They're heading to Great Divide Dog Sledding, need to find their next clue on a tree.
Boofheads decide to switch detours and head to Ski, Lumelia finally show up and head to Ski, then change their minds and do Search? ???
Jo finishes the Ski track, but goes through the wrong gates :lol: She then tries again and the twins finish the detour in third, Boofheads in 4th.
Shandrew find the tree and are told to head to the Chateau at the Fairmount, Lake Louise. Crack open an iceblock to find your clue (Think TAR Israel).
Lumelia still stuck at the Search, still trying to find their beacon :'( :'( :'(
AD BREAK

Shandrew Finish breaking their ice sculpture - head to the pitstop, Banff Springs Hotel.
Shandrew Check in as Team #1
Groseph finish their ice sculpture and read their clue, off to the pitstop in second.
Twins and Boofheads arrive at the ice sculptures in 3rd and 4th.. Boofheads immediately begin cracking one of the sculptures already used :lol: They didn't even notice the clues in the bottom and begin hacking away at the top of the sculpture :lol3:
Twins sneakily hide where they're hacking.. Boofheads are too busy and focused on the task to notice them! :lol:
Lumelia at the Sleds, currently in last heading to the sculptures :'(
Paul and Steve manage to break their sculpture off the stand, keep hacking away at it and basically destroy it. And still don't even realise what they're doing wrong :groan: :groan: Twins off in third, Boofheads still at a loss at what they're doing wrong :lol: Jo and Michelle super ecstatic to have outsmarted the boys and be in front of them :hrt:

Paul and Steve FINALLY figure out their mistake, Steve runs across and sees all the clues :lol: They finish and head to the Pitstop. Lumelia briefly shown finishing the task and head to the pitstop too. :(

The sisters are eliminated :'( Such a sad moment, but they're glad they got this far and had the best time. Both glad they did the things they did, even if they cursed the amazing race for making them do it at the time :lol:
NEXT EPISODE - TOMORROW: Race heads to China. Paul seen on the Great Wall, an eating challenge involving starfish, Jo & Steve at a roadblock enduring a foot massage. Jo and Michelle break their alliance with the cops and one team makes a crucial mistake.

Oh, Lucy & Emilia...I almost thought they would put another Dandrew and overtake P&S at the ice sculture task. They had an excellent run, though.

Great to see the race back, after the Olympic break. Hopefully, that won't hurt the chances for season 3.
It was a remarkable run for Lucy & Emilia, as they did make it a lot farther than I thought. And to think, they could have been the 1st team eliminated. I did like one of their comments, about Botox arguing about the stiletto being the best tool to break the ice.
And finally, a team other than Paul & Steve winning the leg. And only Steve can get away with making the comment about riding better in bed, to the twins. If it was Paul, the twins would go ballistic.

So sad to see the sister go. But what super stars! I think you'll find Steve made the comment to Lucy and Emilia. I doubt the twins would be walking anywhere with the Alphas.

The bullriding task said to me that the other teams are all afraid of Paul and Steve.
Every single team went into that task knowing that only the winning team would get a bonus prize, but every team went into the task deciding that they were going to beat Paul and Steve's time. It shows that they think the Alpha's are the team to beat.

The show's been hammering in the "We want to win" from the Twins more than any other team, so I'll be really unimpressed if they actually do.

Did anyone else notice those giant numbered poles in the background with pictures of eliminated teams on them? Was that an unaired challenge or just something totally random and irrelevant for no reason?

Anyway, it seems that there are many pictures of teams near the location..

And about the picture you posted, sapphirepit, it seems that they have to sort the pictures of the team that arrive last in previous legs to its respective leg number. (Lucy & Emilia is in number 1, Adam & Dane is in number 2, Sue & Teresa is in number 3, Kym & Donna is in number 4) :duno: :duno:

Another thing about it that I'm curious about is that it is at the bottom of the ski challenge, so if this is an unaired challenge did the people who did search have to go back up to the bottom of the slalom and complete it?
