(I think he is saying that the kids made deals with investors to see who could sell the most.) Joe says he went through a rough patch last year, he made a mistake of giving a guy 50% of his idea, the guy is a millionaire and he just took it. Once it became profitable, the guy took it. Pictures of all the menus, recipes, he wrote the manuals. He sold it but pennies on the dollar, he couldn't keep up with all the lawyers. They put themselves in a bind, and the guy just took it. He'll never again have a partner. An investor but never again a partner.
