Does anyone know when the show actually starts on tv over in Australia? I would've looked further but I don't want to find out any spoilers. Thanks....

As an Australian I agree with this - I'd even say 2-3 weeks is being generous. In some cases shows I watch have gone from 'coming soon' to its on in three days with no warning.

I guess you have a point.
Once apon a time went form comming soon to Tuesday 7:30 in the last week or so.

Yeah, most shows on Channel Seven are previewed as 'Coming Soon' and then one day out of the blue, they start saying 'starts __day week', so there's a good chance we won't know until 2 weeks or so before it starts.
Last year we started May 16th I think, which is only 3 or 4 days away now, so we're definitely starting at least a little bit later than last year. :(

I'm hoping it'll start around that time, :tup: but the 25th is a Friday, and I doubt it will be on a Friday, especially with all the sport that it would have to compete against for viewers.
It will never be Friday, Satarday or Sunday.
Friday, 7 has AFL in Melb, Ald, and Per.
Satarday is movies and nothing happens Satarday on Australian TV.
Sunday, 7 has DWTS and Crime Dramas.
I would have to agrre with 23rd after AGT but this is only spec at this time.

Speculating at this point but it definitely won't be on a Friday the 25th. The premiere in Melbourne is on the 23rd so they may likely either air it the same night or hold it and air it on the 30th.

Haha this is how us Aussies differ from you Americans, but I'm trying to get tickets to the premiere on the 23rd of May. I don't think they'd air it on the same night as the premiere as that would ruin the exclusivity and point of having a premiere. So the following Wednesday the 30th of May seems more likely.

23rd would be awesome, but I think if 23rd was the day, we'd probably have seen some advertisements about the airdate by now. :(
I would love TARAus to take the Thursday 7:30pm timeslot, personally. There's very little to watch on Thursdays, lol, and nothing good is on at that time. :lol:
But I do think that Wednesday would be the most likely timeslot. :tup: There's reruns of things giving (I think) aside from Talent. The dramas on Thursday won't finish for a while. Once Upon A Time started today on Tuesday, and I think Tuesday is completely infeasible.
If they did Monday nights again like last season, they could potentially grab a LOT of viewers by airing it before/after Revenge. ;)

Good guess but they won't compete with The Voice, that's pretty much shooting yourself in the foot. With Revenge being on the same time as the Voice that can't be helped and isn't as risky as it's not a locally produced show. They will try and find the best timeslot for the race and it's looking like Wednesday after AGT is the best time potentially (I'm still sticking with the 30th May 8:30/PM start).

Yeah, I'd bet shunting TAR US off into the late night wastelands is as much about its low ratings as it is giving most viewers a few weeks away from TAR before this returns. Remember way back when Seven was playing catchup and had seasons 6 and 7 without a break? TAR7's ratings really, REALLY suffered.

This show the best reality show on TV last year, not only did it stay true to the much loved US format, it actually bettered it with detours and roadblocks where the lead could change due to the difficulty of them.
Also casting was great as well and it looks just as good this season. A blog post of the cast will be up soon.
