I like Brendon, he is nice. But Rachel is just annoying. I will never understand how some people could like her and hate Jet and Cord.

He just couldn't leave it alone, even when she was reduced to tears he would still keep picking at her to demoralize her and demean her. It wasn't until he got the boot that she came into her own again and could play the game and then win it! She's far smarter than she is given credit for having.

Kudos for her for standing up to him. :tup:

Post by: kungfuwomn on March 16, 2012, 01:25:33 PM: I agree nothing angelic about Vanessa for those Rachel fans who watched the live feeds 24/7 in BB12 when they first met Brendon was always trying to support Rachel she broke down alot in the begining and was kind of wild with her mouth and Brendon calmed her down.Yes their have been many times where you would hear stuff Brendon said and would say wow did he just say that but you have to look at both seasons and have watched all the live feeds and followed them since both shows ended like i did to know that they are really a perfect match they are so much alike that it causes friction like Rachel said during bb12 Brendon is the boy version of her and she is female version of him.And what people didnt see during the ep and what CBS didnt show was Rachel was sick as a dog and needed an IV but she wouldnt take it so she pretty much did that without an IV so imagine doing all that with stress,teased and being sick then she finally took IV before starting the sausage which if you know trying to eat after that was probably really hard.So i give Rachel and them much kudos for not finishing Last and not giving up.

uhhhh.... I dont find complaining about being on something thousands of people want to be on entertaining or at all interesting. I hate when people go on the show and then they complain about being there.

I really feel sorry for Brendon, how he puts up with someone like that is beyond me, clearly he loves Rachel and will do anything to make her happy but those tantrums on the screen are extremely irritating to watch, god knows what its like for Brendon. The guy is clearly saying whatever he can to make her chill out and keep her happy but every single episode now she clearly starts kicking off.

The guy clearly deserves a beer for being such a legend in dealing with her.

I mean no disrespect I just don't find her likable at all, infact it makes me want to stop watching or mute the episode and look away till shes done. After watching 20 Seasons now shes probably the most unlikable person I've seen on the race.

Brendon is cool though, very likable racer. Kudos to him.

Tantrum is the only way I can describe all her outbursts thus far on the race. I'm unsure if shes playing to the camera and being completely fake but oh my.

Hope the moderators don't mind my opinion. Not everyone can give happy responses.

Vanessa & Ralph were ahead of them at this point...
Rachel is the one with problems in this case as she couldn't actually come to the realisation that Brendon had flipped Ralph off and didn't make things better by butting in and causing an uproar. If Ralph had just continued to try to talk to Brendon politely as he was I'm sure they would've resolved it (but then that just wouldn't be as fun would it!)

Vanessa and Blonde evil rachel both made rude comments about rachel during the show so having people talk about you along with pressures of racing caused the Rachel breakdown with brendon in previous ep along with her finally calling vanessa out.Its obvious to me once again people are jealous of rachel because not only does she have a bubbily personality but she is a fierce competetor and the other teams probably figures oh great here's this reality winner of 500k and we have to compete with her?Plus personally I think she's jealous of the relationship that rachel has with brendon cuz she doent have that special kind of partnership with Ralph.

I guess it makes for more interesting tv for many people, makes sense I guess. No doubt that was part of the attraction of getting someone like (emotional/hypernervous) Rachel on the show especially in a mix with highstrung diva Vanessa.

Really tbh I don't care at all about their little catfights and all the drama about them.
I think Bopper/Mark and Jamie/Nary are a breath of fresh air away from this drama, the drama between Rachel and Dave whenever things go slightly wrong (though granted they do get themselves together again mostly), and the arrogance of the borderpatrol guys. :(

Maybe I haven't seen enough TAR series to appreciate the dynamics and surely the show would be a bit more boring maybe, without them - but to me they don't make it more entertaining to watch tbh. I think the cultural things, challenges and group dynamics between teams/ intrinsic team dynamics have plenty to offer apart from all this drama about nothing... :(
So I guess from now on I'll be rooting for either of those two teams :lol: , even if I think the FBI agents aren't doing very well sofar, at least not as well as you might expect.

So for me I would really like to see either of them go and I don't really care much for which of the two since to me both of them can be held accountable for the situation as is now, and both of them have been rude, insulting and overly dramatic during the race.
At this point I just hope neither of these teams will win, but given the self-destruct mode they seem to be in most of the time contrary to some other teams I think it - hopefully- won't be likely. :)

People always want to think in terms of catfights as they find that entertaining. Phil set it up in Vanessa's intro though saying she is a woman who has problems with other women, that's the role she is acting out.

Vanessa is a beautiful woman on the outside, inside, not so much.

Episode 3 was too much of a BB flashback, M/B, K/S, N/J and E/A were still at the harp detour when they left, so they KNOW 4 teams are behind them. They start the detour, J/D, M/B, N/J, K/S show up, so with E/A not there yet, now it's 5 known teams behind them when they she finishes :conf: and heads to the pitstop, but Rachel see J/D finish the RB and you hear the familiar bawl/whine :'( "Jersey Shore is going to beat us!", followed by the breakdown on the mat. I could understand being frantic IF you thought you were next to last and had a strong team on your heels, but, :rolleyes: when 1/2 the pack is behind you?
