Amazing Race teams and camera crew just rushed past me.
From what I can tell, she's on a layover at an airport waiting for a flight, but doesn't say which one. Maybe somewhere in Asia, possibly at a connecting point like Dubai. I've tweeting for more information.

No reply from her so far, or any other tweets to anybody.
From what I can determine she was in The Philippines and after a 12 hour flight is on a layover. She said about a hour ago that it was 4 AM, so that doesn't match up with Dubai, since it was 5 AM an hour ago. The time matches up with the east coast of Africa, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq and points north.
Since we have Dubai as a possible destination, I'm leaning that way and would guess that she's off on the local time.

I checked a map of the mall and P. F. Changs is on the Lower Ground floor with numerous restaurants. That floor also has an elevator to the 124th floor observation deck of the Burj Khalifa tower, so it makes sense they might be going there. I already talked about this in the speculation thread before I got this tweet, but it seemed to make sense to repost it here.

I really don't know if this tweet is about TAR Norway, but the description does fit one of the teams, so I'll post it here. That could fit perfectly! AusTRALIA is still upcoming. As far as we can tell, the info on AUS is very reliable. It is just too specific to post right now...
And since TAR Israel should have had their finale in Singapore, I am not aware of any other races running just now.

It sounds to me like Kris saw them leaving for the airport at the beginning of the leg. It's possible that they went straight from Dubai to India and we haven't missed a leg, though it's also possible there was a leg between Dubai and India. Timing would be tight for that though. Being a first time production, I'd expect them to allow more time between legs than the American version.

I can't tell where Julie lived or where she might be going, but wanillabean is from Melbourne, so it is possible Julie is flying to Melbourne and saw them for that reason.

His page says he's from Eugene, OR. His recent tweets give no evidence of him traveling and mention stuff like playing Madden Football, but I doubt he'd be taking his Xbox while traveling. However, he posts quite a few pictures, most of which don't look like Oregon, but can't be pinned down to a specific location, such as a palm tree and a car with a non USA license plate.

I think this might be genuine. He is from Oregon but a lot of his Tweets point to being in Vietnam. And that's definitely a Vietnamese license plate on the Audi. But he may have been flying back to Oregon via Singapore when he met them.

I see that you mentioned Qantas QF010 earlier. If that's right, then I take it that your contact was in Singapore. If the lead from Sydney is true, then that does make Melbourne less likely. However, we don't know for sure what day they are going to be at Bondi Beach, so I wouldn't give up hope for a leg in Melbourne. It's still possible. If you're able, it might still be worth going to the airport in Melbourne to see what happens.
A leg in Singapore does seem very possible now. Very sneaky of them to follow TAR Israel just a few days later. Plus, I've seen many, many tweets lately about The Amazing Race in Singapore at the zoo. I'm pretty sure that must have been a week long activity for school kids, but it completely buried any sightings. I was skipping over anything that said Singapore the last few days.

His twitter page says he's the Head Lifeguard at Bondi Beach in Sydney. It could be that Melbourne is the second leg in Australia!
Zouly, did your contact say what airport she was at? I note that yenz_lim and HEYJULIEE_ were only off of Twitter for 2 to 4 hours after their sighting, so that would fit with a relatively short flight from Sydney to Melbourne.

I see that you mentioned Qantas QF010 earlier. If that's right, then I take it that your contact was in Singapore. If the lead from Sydney is true, then that does make Melbourne less likely. However, we don't know for sure what day they are going to be at Bondi Beach, so I wouldn't give up hope for a leg in Melbourne. It's still possible. If you're able, it might still be worth going to the airport in Melbourne to see what happens.
There are two direct flights to Sydney leaving from Changi airport, Terminal 1 in the evening that the racers spotted...
If she suspect believed that they're boarding different Qantas, it could be QF06 direct to Sydney arrive at 6.30 this morning...

I don't know that any other versions are filming right now, so I expect that it's the Norwegian TAR. It matches up with what ZouLy's contact yenz_lim statement about the rout going to India and Vietnam, so that sounds like good information.

Ello people, Dan Down Under from the Sucks forum here. One of my really good friends was at Coogee Beach (Sydney) today and texted me a few pics of TAR: Norway being filmed on the beach. By the looks of it there was some sort of beach volleyball task, and she said she yelled good luck at the "2 hispanic looking dudes"before they ran away. This was about 6:40pm - 7:20pm our time. Might I say, it was pretty effin late to be at Coogee but the weather was amazeballs today.

Maroondah Dam is about an hour's drive east of Melbourne. Here's a panoramic view of Maroondah Dam. It doesn't look high enough for bungee jumping, but I could be wrong.

The Eureka Skydeck is apparently the Southern Hemisphere's highest viewing platform.

I'm guessing their task may have had something to do with the Edge Experience which is a glass platform extending out over the side of tower.

The instagram picture appears to show production people and not teams. It did include this statement:
“Eureka Skydeck... I'm just leaving now, but as I was leaving the Amazing Race contestants are coming through in 15min!!!! the camera crew is setting up now!.... so cool,! as I love this tv show......”

And the different versions also tend to use existing bungy sites for safety reasons. Last time I checked, there's no bungy jumping sites in Victoria that are anywhere near high enough for a TAR to use - if memory serves, the highest is less than 100 feet.
If the task at the dam is as terrifying as stated, I'd put money on it being skydiving - Lilydale Airport is less than ten minutes flight time away, and the dam's has plenty of spare room for landing. We've already got abseiling in the Blue Mountains, so it can't be that, and there's not enough native wildlife in the area for an animal task, but Healesville Sanctuary (probably the best place in the country to do touristy crap like looking at koalas and kangaroos) is in the same area as well.

I agree that they are probably counting lanterns. However, it's possible they are looking for a specific lantern. They all look a little different from each other.

That white building appears to be Santa Casa Da Misericordia, which I've included a picture of below. From Wikipedia:
Holy House of Mercy of Macau (Portuguese: Santa Casa da Misericórdia; Chinese: 仁慈堂大樓), is an historic white building in Macau's Senado Square. Established as a branch of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia, it was built in 1569 on the orders of the Bishop of Macao.

It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Historic Centre of Macau".

2 missing legs sounds about right, though it could be 3. I was hoping for North America, but I'd expect some word would have come out if it had been there. The US and Canada may have been too expensive for their budget. So South America and either Europe or Western Africa seem possible. I'd expect that the final leg was in Norway, but with a new race, who knows what they did?

There is a slim possibility of Monument Valley, but NOTHING confirmed, count this as spec.

If they did go to Monument Valley, I'd think the Grand Canyon and the other National Parks in that area would be a possibility. But there's no evidence of that at this point.

This is our Melbourne Gaol sighting I previously hinted at. Filming occurred on the 25th of January. Contestants apparently had to try "to answer questions in order to get out of their jail cells".

Presuming filming occurred on the 17th of Jan.. currently double checking though. No contestants sighted, just the crew filming Freddy doing standups.
And thanks to another anonymous source, Hue looks a possible destination...
