Title: Teams not stepping on the mat?

I can't say I've noticed this, but is that true? Teams haven't been standing on the Pit Stop mat this season? Why on earth would that be? But glad to hear that its going to change back next season!

Everyone has been so careful to stop with their toes at the edge that I thought it must be a new rule. But Phill tweeted last week that no, they had NOT asked teams to do that!!

Since the mat behavior isn't a new rule, I guess Phil doesn't mind being embraced/attacked at the mat!

I've been finding his tweets during the show really interesting, this includes answering questions. A few other things:

Would like to take the race to Antarctica, though timeframe for shooting is very short.

Showed interest in a question about whether they would do an all-female season.

Says he has a really bad track record for guessing the season winners.

Post by: Glamazon Racer on October 31, 2011, 09:07:34 PM: Yes, I noticed a few teams not stepping on the mat, such as Liz & Marie on one of the episodes. Glad to hear it will change back, as I was a little confused - the mat began to seem rather redundant.
