COACH
Benjamin "Coach" Wade (39)
Current Residence: Susanville, Calif.
Previous Seasons: “Survivor: Tocantins” and “Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains”
Benjamin Wade, more commonly known as "Coach," is returning to Survivor for a third try. “The reception for me, when I step on that beach and am chosen to be on a tribe, I’m just going to kill ‘em with kindness.” He still owns his eclectic persona that viewers love from previous seasons, but the symphony conductor, men’s soccer coach and pastor promises that, “Coach 3.0 is going to be different than any time you’ve seen him.”
Coach believes that it is his experience and his leadership that make him an asset to his tribe, but he’s reevaluating his strategy this time around. “I’ve got to come out here and I’ve got to be confident but not arrogant, strong but not intimidating, I’ve got to be humble but not weak, I’ve got to be honorable but not self righteous.”
What does he think of Ozzy, his competition? “He is a great warrior in challenges, he’s great at survival, he’s going to be a tough competitor on the other tribe.”

I'm not making any "ews" or "omg I love hims" til the premiere :) I am giving him a chance and not doing first impressions
-
Let's just say he will do a Russell Hantz. :hrt:
-
For me, Coach gives me the inverse of the "Rupert" effect. Every time I see Coach on another season, I find him more lovable. I didn't like him in Tocantins at all (partially due to my Stephen fandom). I liked him enough in HvV (but between him and Courtney, I'd rather loose him). And now, I think I like him enough that I hope he stays for a while. I like him more than Ozzy, but I LOVE Savaii (Ozzy's Tribe)!
-
Yeah I was never really annoyed by Coach. I always found him kind of funny.
-
I may eat my words for giving him too much credit. But I am wondering if this season Coach won't finally learn how to control the crazy and go all the way.
-
I hope Coach gets far. He's fun to watch if anything.
-
I can only say that after a ridiculous season of watching the most annoying, boring HG ever on BB, it is SO nice to see Coach! :yess:
He is definitely one of the good guys!
-
It seems to me that he has not been so crazy this time around, with meditations and stories and such. Could it be the editing or has be changed? :duno:

Never liked him before because I loved Russell Hantz but I find him HILARIOUS during this season! I also root for him! :hrt:

Precisely. As of now, I'm taking back my EW. comment. But seriously, maybe they focused too much on Brandon. :duno:
Or maybe... Brandon makes him sane.

According to Stephen Fishbach from Survivor Tocantins, Coach is still the same Coach, but this time his edit is different....
-
His edit was very good and I think he should have won over Sophie and Albert.
