Occupation: Harvard Law Student
Personal claim to fame: I won the Dean’s Scholar Prize at Harvard Law for an essay I wrote on the “Survivor” jury system. It was one of the few times in my life where my personal interests and academic obligations coincided perfectly.
Inspiration in life: My family.
Hobbies: Guitar, trivia and studying the music and history of The Beatles.
Pet peeves: People who think or act like they are smarter than they actually are and people who don’t have a sense of humor.
3 words to describe you: Neurotic, insecure and brilliant.
SURVIVOR contestant you are most like: I have some of the humor of Rob Cesternino, the candor of Jonathan Penner and the intelligence of Yul Kwon.
Reason for being on SURVIVOR: My respect and admiration for “Survivor” and my desire to make it even better. My secondary motivation is to experience some adventure and excitement in my life during a time when I otherwise feel like I’m on autopilot.
Why you think you’ll “survive” SURVIVOR: I have a strong sense of humor that can defuse tense situations and an ability to listen to conflicting viewpoints and devise a rational compromise that is satisfying to all parties involved. I also have a slender frame that doesn’t take up much space in a crowded shelter.
Why you think you will be the sole SURVIVOR: I understand other people and how they function. Sure, I’m bright and have an extensive knowledge of “Survivor,” but none of that does any good unless you’re able to figure out the reasons why other people do the things they do. Not only can I do that, but I’m also confident that I can leverage their desires and motives in a way that best serves my game.

I really liked him and his insecurity in his vid, it was very honest and just how many of us might feel!

I think it's awesome that this season has a lot of super fans instead of recruits. He seems like he knows the game really well, and I enjoyed his pregame interviews, especially the one with Dalton Ross. Unless he is completely different in the game, I'll be rooting for him. Although, does anybody know how to pronounce his last name???

I want to pull for this guy. He is one of us. But people who understand the game don't always play it well. Hell, I would suck at Survivor.
I have a feeling he will be one of the first out. But here is hoping he wins this one for nerds everywhere.
And as for his name, I think he is studying law because he is hoping people will hire him by accident, thinking he was the guy who got O.J. off.

One of my two favorites of the season. He and Dawn would be my dream Final 2. Plus he's a hometown favorite!

Cochran is a sure favorite of mine. He's a nerd but he knows it for sure. He reminds me of Woody Allen somehow. I don't get see why Ozzy said he doesn't contribute. He looked like he was contributing as much as anyone. Its one thing to be weak and another thing to not contribute. It seemed like Ozzy is using Cochran's weakness as being the same thing as doing nothing to contribute.

Just watched the first episode and man is he annoying...and sexist. I can't wait to see his torch snuffed.

Well before tribal council he was like "Oh I'm gonna get beaten by girls" and all this stuff. All talk, no action. Sorry Cochran, I thought you would be alright but obviously not.

In his defense, he was practically in an anxiety attack, and was getting desperate. I mean, there was a really good chance he would be the first person voted out, which would be devastating for him. So I'll cut him some slack there......

I've been doing some researching :wall: and have found out that this guy used to be like a troll on Survivor Sucks. I'm going to do some more sleuthing now... :snicker:

Yes indeedeeo. Some comments on their say stuff like "I hated him when he was a troll here and I still hate him" and stuff. Maybe he wasn't a troll, but he definitely was a user on Sucks.
