I guess I'll make this one before the premiere gets underway.
This thread should only be used to talk about the show when it's on. Think of it like a game day thread in sports. There will be spoilers for those of you who aren't watching on the feeds, so discretion is somewhat advised.

Hgs will be forced to pick a partner and play in pairs. Julie says to the hgs expect the unexpected and Julie is revealing the first twist about the partners. Who you choose will be up to you if you win HOH you and your partner will be safe for the week and you together will nominate a Duo and they will have to campaign against each other to stay in the game

The feeds won't start until 1 am eastern, with the new show schedule - 9-10 pm pacific time.
I also think the veto will have to save both, and a new duo nominated, otherwise the Golden Key wouldn't work right.

Yes. Matt and Natalie were on the block in week three, won Veto, and took themselves off. Adam and Sheila went up in their place.

They had better not send him home too quickly. I seriously wasn't sure if I was gonna get the feeds this year until I found out he was probably coming back. That's what got me so psyched for BB this year. If only I didn't have to hear Rachael's laugh. :groan:

Well, I like the golden key so far. Seems like it will put a whole new spin on things.
I was pretty down on the pairs twist thing, but after seeing that being solo won't hurt for a while, I kind of like it.

they need to nom some of the newbies if just to keep their numbers.....they really need to get smart or the newbies will take out the vets...hope Dani and Rachel can live up to past performances and win comps so the vets can stay longer...if they take each other out, this will go south real fast

You know he may be older, but he's still a fighter. So glad I'm not the only ED fan in the house. Can't wait to see if he's still as spunky. I'm good with the returning houseguests banning together till they have the numbers but I really, really wanna see ED put Rachael in her place and you just KNOW he'll make mincemeat outta Brenden. Can't believe how psyched I am waiting for the live feeds to come up.

I'm definitely enjoying this season so far. The premiere was really promising. My favorite so far is Cassi - she's a sweetie! Adam is kind of annoying and, right now, I wouldn't be sad to see him go first. I'm also really happy to see those three pairs back; I like all three of them. :)

Looks like a good season; based on who they brought in, you know there's going to be a few good screaming matches. Is it bad that when i heard Rachel's laugh for the first time this season it sent a chill up my spine?
But i do hope for now the vets alligh to keep their numbers; but......hopefully they are smart enough to try to lure some of the newbies over...........only time will tell

Hey guys! I've decided I'm gonna try BB this year. I did a little of season 6, but stopped watching when Kaysar returned. Anyway, can someone give me a rundown of the All-Star duos? The only ones I know are Jeff & Jordan from TAR. I watched the first Epi, but missed tonight's. Danke!

Think this premiere was more interesting than many. To me it started slow, then picked up very quickly with each new twist. What will be most interesting is the concept of automatically pushing the person of the duo who does not get sent home into the top ten.
Strategy is very different now. Otherwise I think the producers realized that the returnees would pick off the new duos one by one. :neener:
Would have been nice to see Lane back though . . .
Looking forward to a good season. Off to watch tonight's show.

Veto: Chew gumballs to fill a board that will finish as a Veto symbol. If you fall off the balance beam that you're walking on, you're either eliminated or you can accept two weeks of slop. If you fall off again, you're perma-done.

That Veto competition proved that Rachel was still her usual self - that "I'm holier than thou" attitude is still going to come back. Jeff was right. She wasn't going to finish before Dominic. Why would she take the slop? It looks like a pretty stupid decision. I'm glad Jeff talked Jordan out of taking it herself.

I think it was sort of rigged but I don't think it was all rigged. Earlier today in the HOH, Jeff, Jordan, Brendon, Rachel did discuss what if it was A or B answers. Rachel had told Kalia to always vote A because Kalia didn't want to win HOH. And there were a lot of A's there at first. I was shocked when Jeff went out.

From the beginning there was jealousy - Porche and Cassi. Everyone knows what a bomb Danielle is. So I do not feel that jealousy (of one's beauty) allowed the elimination. I think jealousy is the word used for the blame, but truly it is more about the game.

Rachel's meanness is coming out now, big time and I am glad that Cassi would not let her get the best of her. Cassi is the better person by far and once again, Rachel's nastiness will be her undoing on the BB show. It won't be long until Jordon and Jeff turn against her and she will have alienated everyone, except Brendon, once again. She says that Cassi doesn't know how to play the game, but in reality, it's RACHEL that just doesn't get it!

Ten people are left after the eviction, right? Don't the golden key players get to rejoin the game at that point? I think it'll go to an individual format, which will start with an endurance HOH competition. I've been saying that endurance was how the cliques were disbanded in BB11, so I'm thinking endurance breaks up the duos.

JJ and B/R need to be knocked up their high horses. I hate that JJ are aligned with B/R because I was really pulling for Jeff but they (especially Jeff) seem full of themselves too now that they've spent so much time with the jerks. (:;)
Brenden and Rachel might be good competitors but they are going to have to win every competition to get themselves to the end. The reason for this is because they suck at the social game. Both of them are cocky and condescending to everyone and poor losers.
I really hate Brenden. Last season I hated Rachel more but this time Brenden is really under my skin with his attitude.

The pics on this board are more fun than the show this season! :groan: No contestants seem worthy of the prize thus far. Brendon is ridiculously obnoxious, Rachel comes a close second and Jeff and Jordon and close third and fourth in unlikeability. I used to like Shelly but seeing what a lying hypocrit she is who would throw anyone under the bus, she's off my list.
One by one, the big 4 will knock the rookies off, and then it will be between the last two vet couples. Who cares at this point who wins.
Worst season ever. Oh well, there's always next year.

Everyone's really annoying me this season, by far the worst season for me. The only person I REALLY like so far is Daniele, ONLY person to not be a follower, she's the only one thinking for herself and not playing for anyone else, the way it should be played. I hate how Brenden and Jeff act like they are the kings of the house, and want everyone to lay at their feet, and of course, they all do, not Daniele though :)

Watching the episode this morning, I got really annoyed with Jeff. He sat Dom down and was like, "You need to tell me the truth that you started the idea to backdoor me." Dom was like, "I never did that." and Jeff just yelled at him and was like, "I know you did, so don't lie to me!" I just feel bad for Dom because he didn't even stand a chance, and it was basically all Dani's house.
Were they rude to everyone in this episode? Jeff yelled at Dom, and Brendan yelled at Kalia. I can't stand their rudeness, and how they act like they know everything! :'(
I'm not a huge fan of Dani, but I'm just glad someone in that house isn't afraid to tell B/R & J/J how it is. When she told Brendan to shut up, it made my day. :P Hopefully she can stick around longer to cause more drama. :meow:

The worst is Shelly the way she threw Dom under the bus, lied right to his face. She's the dangerous one because the newbies trusted her. Good luck to her explaining her "character" to her daughter! And the vets are just same old same old B:)

Texas Lady - yes and the dynamics if Dick had stayed would be so different. Rachel wouldn't be blowing off at the mouth everytime someone looked at her wrong and then "offing" them. She wouldn't have that power.
Love the Live Feeds Board!! Just read the updates and feel that there may be a change of pace with the new HOH although it's still a fairly boring bunch (as compared to last season anyway). Rachel did it again though when Kalia tried to be friendly and Rachel threw it right back in her face and then started bad mouthing her. How could Rachel even wonder why everyone hates her?? She's awful, as is her fiance.

People complained on this site heavily about last season. Bring back the Brigade and get those annoying jerks Brendon and Rachel off my TV. These reality shows enjoy putting polarizing figures on our TV's and live streams because they know America and a good portion of the world loves a great train wreck, well you get that with Brendon (Narcissistic douche) and Rachel (Manic depressant). As I said in another thread, I wouldn't associate with either in real life past one casual conversation. I got killed on this site last year for criticizing both of them. They are equally as annoying and unbearable to listen to or watch. Period. My take.

Rip - Can't see how anyone could criticize you for finding Brenchel annoying last year - they have stepped up their level of annoyance now to being outright repulsive but especially Rachel was equally obnoxious last season. Brendon did a good job of holding in what an egotistical jerk he is last year but Rachel is no change.
I think the real train wreck would have occurred had Dick stayed on but it would have been more fun to watch because he would have squelched Brendon and Rachel's annoying personalitities. The only thing I like about Jeff is how he describes Rachel as a little bug flying around is head. Jordon is a fake - puts this sweet act on then will pounce and destroy when the time is right.
Only liking Dani and Kalia thus far. We'll see. Liked Dom but he didn't "get" the game enough to be able to play it well.

I think the biggest reason that Rachel is so disliked is that she has this childish sense of entitlement, like, oh boo hoo this one or that one made me cry or hurt my feelings when Rachel can dish it out like the best of them. And ruin their careers on BB because someone said something slightly wrong to her. Come on Rachel, this is the real world!
And now this season Brendon is even worse than Rachel.
If there was a prize for unlikeability, that's the one they'd get.

Can you imagine the strength if Dom comes back and aligns with Dani and Kalia? No one will trust Shelly again and Adam and Lawon will come back to the newbie alliance + Dani.
Dom is good at comps and could get rid of one of the J's or Rachel if he won HOH and they would then be in control.

I thought Michele lost her HoH because Chima was one of her nominations and Chima went on a rampage right out the door. Since her nomination left, her HoH was complete. Thats what they said on the show though.

Kalia in a bad position this week. On one hand she didn't allow Jeff to bully her and put one of the newbies up who might ultimately be her jury. However, she's put a huge target on her back which I wouldn't have done. I would have put Rachel up with Porsche who is not liked or likeable.

My first reaction was that it was rigged, but it's not unreasonable to think that Dom and Cassi split the "anti-Rachel" vote and there are people out there that are so loyal to Jeff and Jordan that they knew Brendon would help them more than anyone else. Not to mention that there are people out there who are anti-Danielle and wanted to spite her.

I feel like people thought Brendon would be chosen to battle back into the house...against Rachel. I can handle Brendon without Rachel. So I was really ticked when he won (although, I think Lawon threw it for Rachel's sake).

I feel like people thought Brendon would be chosen to battle back into the house...against Rachel. I can handle Brendon without Rachel. So I was really ticked when he won (although, I think Lawon threw it for Rachel's sake).

That's another variable that is quite possible. Rachel looked like she was toast early on, people probably thought it would be funny to have her compete against Brendon...oops.
This was a perfect storm that Danielle and Kalia completely screwed up and it fell right into Brendon and Rachel's lap.

My first reaction was that it was rigged, but it's not unreasonable to think that Dom and Cassi split the "anti-Rachel" vote and there are people out there that are so loyal to Jeff and Jordan that they knew Brendon would help them more than anyone else. Not to mention that there are people out there who are anti-Danielle and wanted to spite her.
I can see this. But, I also think Jeff and Jordan could do fine on their own. I don't want to portray them as riding coat tails, but their relying so heavily on the Vets in this game is what is going get them evicited and made part of the jury.

Him and Jordan get all mad and start yelling at her and telling her how stupid she is. And then Jeff is like, "I'll win the veto, and I'll show her!" :groan: That's what she wanted you to do all along.
And then Rachel just harasses everyone, and someone calls her out on it and tells her she's mean, and she goes and cries in the have not room about how everyone is attacking her personally, and no one likes her, but she is attacking everyone personally... :groan:
Don't get me wrong, it will be interesting to watch now that Dani & Kalia don't have all the power anymore, but it frustrates me so much that they are so mean to everyone, and when anyone tries to do anything against them they freak out, or cry, or harass the person, and I'm sick of it.

She was making her own threats about keeping Dom -- So it doesn't really matter who it is in that house -- they are all doing it-- some more blatant than others.

I voted for Brenden because of loyalty to Jeff and Jordan. I'm not gonna lie - they are the only reason I am watching so clearly I want them to win, Rachel annoys the crap out of me - but if she needs to stay for Jeff and Jordan to win I will put up with her.

What's sad is that it was absolutely the perfect storm.
Responsibility ultimately lies with Kalia and Dani because they botched the HOH this week. You have to take Rachel out when you have the opportunity. Let possible future events take care of themselves when they arrive. For now, take advantage of what you control. Kalia should not have thought she could get back into Jeff and Jordan's graces. She should have let Jeff play the POV and then put Jordan up.
America probably split its vote between Cassi and Dominic. You add in that when voting started, it looked like a foregone conclusion that Rachel would be gone and people probably wanted to try to make Brendon compete against Rachel in this comp just because it would be funny. lawon was never in the game -- he never played at all with anyone at any time in that house -- so how could he know what move he needed to do? he just floated around -- and was more interested in how he dressed than any other type of strategy for his game. He was clueless and deserved to go out. No way should he have stuck around to even be part of jury. Let alone get to the end over anyone else in that house.

Competitor I really agree with you. It was the perfect storm and I agree about Cassi and Dominic votes. I thought it would be between Dom and Brendon, mostly because they were the last two out.
Not that it would be what I wanted but Kalia should have stuck to her convictions, Jordan would have caused a harder choice for voting, I think Jordan would have survived and Brendon/Rachel competing to come back or stay. My guess is Brendon would have thrown it. We'll never know now.
Shelly has to have some kudos for saving Rachel to save Jeff and Jordan. She's put a target on herself but not right away.

I do not think it was rigged for Brendon (yuch) to come back. I think many viewers just like to view a train wreck and knew the other potential returnees would not have the "drama" of Brendon returning to his "love" and make the other HG miserable, and that is what makes for interesting viewing I guess.

I never comment on these boards, but I felt somehow compelled. This is the worst season yet! It is so predictable that CBS wants Rachel and Brendan back together. She is the most annoying woman and the viewers are forced to view him beating his chest with his PHD degree... Please stop with the UCLA shirts...... We all know where you went to school.. Now go do some good and discover a cure for cancer... Honestly, the casting director needs to find another job because you are going to loose more viewers. Why don't you get original and bring strong, NEW players to the table?? This show is becoming boring... IMO.. No offense, but Jeff and Jordan do not look in love and she is about as interesting as watching paint dry. Shelly is smart, but she plays all side.... Literally... Dani is the only one who has all of the players figured out, but she has not trusted her instincts... Uhg!!!!!! I have wasted too much time on these 5 minute fame seekers...

By far the worst season...As soon as Brenden got back in the game, for technically the third time ever, I really felt I should just stop watching the show. From here on out we're back to week 1 and 2, him taking over the house, bullying people, and kissing Rachel, should I even watch the show anymore? this season is once again predictable. Thanks Dani and Kalia for a little spice up, but goodbye soon and hello predictable boring game.
Oh, Jeff and Jordan fans, FYI, THEY WON ALREADY! and Jordan herself doesn't care for the money, she said herself she wants to be there just to spend time with Jeff...Yet you guys want her to get another half a million, are you serious?! they've had their glory, it's someone else's turn. Oh but she's so nice, she deserves to win every season right? O_o ugh.

The thought of actually watching the big bully brendon and his big mouth is so revolting that I'll skip a few shows until his ego settles down. By next week he'll be back to moderate revolting as opposed to extreme obnoxious which is what he will be serving up now!! Ugh

I think Dani will put up Bren and Rachel again, and we will finally get rid of one of them. Was hoping Cassi would come back as I don't care for Dani either, and did not want to see Dom, aka Jesse, come back and team up with her, although I did find him entertaining.

Texas lady - To me it's like bringing back Boston Rob time after time on Survivor. What's the point? He's gonna know the game lots more than the legit new contestants and of course have an advantage in that from his experience and "legend" he knew how to charm the newbie girls and take over. That's his strength and he honed it. And R and B and the J's also have the unfair advantage and thus makes it not an equal competition.
B and R are some of the most distateful reality contestants to begin with so who would want to watch him gloat, her fawn all over him and then have crying jags in between it all??? We couldn't stand it last season so why would they bring it out again. And the J's are so predictable - he bullies and she just keeps getting more and more boring.
A very disappointing season. The only person I find remotely likeable is Adam cause he's funny.

Just watched the Return of Jedi Brendon Show and trying to decide who looks more upset: Porsche or Dani?
I don't think Porsche's gonna be able to pull off crawling back to Rachel, but Dani has the bigger target. And Shelly will have to grow another face to handle all of her con jobs within the house.

Am actually from the Uk and only started watching the US version last year (unfortunately) and fell in love with this one, is so much better!
Anyway, so yea I'm not sure how it's worked in previous seasons and I was interested to see how America would vote, I just can't believe so many people wanted to see Brendon back. For the sake of a competetive show I felt it was a real shame as well.

Remember, I didn't update anyone this week, and I barely looked at the feeds - my uncle and his family are fans of the show but aren't into the spoilers - so I only saw what was on the TV and am totally voicing my opinion based on that.

You'll change you mind about seeing R & B reunited when you see how cruel they are together. Separate they are manageable, last season B was not bad at all as the underdog. But this season he bullies her into submission and then yells things at people like: "Don't talk that way to my fiancee" (only HE can talk that way to her). You'll understand if it starts up again and if R & B are smart they will develop a lower profile now but I don't think they are capable of this.

They showed Shelly on the deck with Kalia and Porche swearing she never ever made a final 3 with B&R, it was all a lie from R she was evil etc, then showed a flashback to her suggesting to B&R that they have a final three.
They showed her badmouthing Rachel to Jordan and Jeff at the nom ceremony too. It was really ugly and I hope her daughter didn't see it. I don't like her game play, but I thought it was a cruel edit.
They showed Jordan's interview practice with Shelly and it was pure Jordanisms.

I don't know what to think after that latest episode, it was my favorite one personally up until the very end, I would have loved to have seen B/R up, I just hope they keep their words in respect to Dani. On the other hand, I'm glad Shelly was up, she's been way too sneaky for my liking and I had a dislike to her from the very start when she voted against Keith.
Made me laugh when Adam went and talked to Dani. "If I win HoH, I won't put you up next week", well, we know that ain't gonna happen :lol:
I think Dani has put herself in a strange position, she wants to be in the veterans good books which she may be now but saying that, I still think Jeff/Jordan may possibly vote her out if they get a chance and the move she made was good for her, not really for Porche and Kalia.

And I actually disliked the way Shelly plays from DAy 2 when she ratted out on trusting Dom when he confided in her and told her she was the only one he trusted in the house. Shelly (had 2 faces at that time, now she has grown 4 or 5) ran right up to Rachel's HOH room and betrayed Dom, thus leading to his being eviction.

EXACTLY! She has been betraying people since the show began and as the summer comes to an end, practically everyone is onto her evil ways. And then she has the audacity to put on this poor me, woe is me, this house has bad people in it act. She has always come across as obnoxious and devious and she'd throw anyone under the bus type of person. I feel sorry for her daughter and hope she doesn't use Shelley as a role model IRL.

I know. When R says how she doesn't know why "America hates her" I believe her that she doesn't get it.
The mystery to me is how America voted Brendon back. Why???? I think Dom would have brought a needed fresh approach to the game. With B it's just more of the same. :(

I admire Dani for her toughness in doing that. :yess: I didn't see her other season, but I like her tenacity a lot this season. She's not a lying weasel like Shelly and she doesn't have the drama of R & B that we get so tired of on BB. I do think her game would have been entirely different if ED had stayed.

B/R have been in a tizzy since JJ were straight with them that they didn't have the votes to keep B-- so they JJ were going to vote with the house. B/R said they wouldn't have voted for Jeff if the situation was reversed (BS) since B/R were just up in the HOH trying to throw Jeff under the bus to D -- like put up Jeff instead of B -- he's won money, etc.

Otherwise, she's going to the end and if she, and the JJ's are in the final 3, the jury may well give it to her because J already won and Jeff is associated with J who already won. What do you think?

HOnestly I would not put it past her. I have seen her throw really nice trusting people directing under the bus and watch them being run over (ie Dom when she used his confidence to have him evicted). When J offered her the isolation plus the call at first she said no no and then I could see hesitation and in those seconds I would not put it past her to conjure up the tears after thinking how good this would make her look.
JMO but I put her in the same league as Russell on Survivor. Except Russell didn't get even one jury vote and if these guys don't wise up I could see her using all of her tactics to get her to the $500K. I hope I am wrong because she's played a very dirty game, but we'll see . . . . Again, hope I am wrong :duno:

The double eviction is like 2 weeks in one. First there is a fast vote to evict then they are told it will be a double elimination. HOH comp which is short, then nominations, POV comp and another POV ceremony, then votes and 2 leave in one night.
I believe Brendon and Matt went home last year, but I don't remember the order. :lol:

Brendon was the 2nd to leave last year. Shaving his head to get the POV only brought him 30 more minutes in the house :lol:

Thanks! I believe I now remember that it was Hayden. I also remember him winning many of the competitions in the final weeks. He became a great competitor when Kristen was evicted so he could focus more on the game :lol3: Seemed like a nice guy and I was glad he won.

Kind of figured that Adam would be the swing vote in that second eviction. Wasn't sure who he was going to vote for after watching him converse with Jeff/Rachel lately.
Jeff's kind of right in the exit interview, though - it did take a while for them to wake up and make that move.

Haha. I think she's kicking herself for flipping side so often. As far as I can tell, her thing about Jeff coming between her and her family...I think what she was trying to say is that she wants the money, and with Jeff getting any further along, she would have lost out on the money for her family to Jeff or Jordan.
The way I have to look at it is, Jordan made it to the end in her season...and ultimately won the game (without Jeff). She could very well do that again this season. She just has to be smart and fight for it.

You are not missing ANYTHING!! We all know Shelly is crammed full of B.S. and she would throw anyone anywhere under the bus to win. She wings it and the HG have, like sheep, believed her.

How could he see it? Shelly was like a mom to Jordan, and he didn't realize it until earlier today. You know you did something wrong if you get Jordan cursing at you......
But he DID see it; at one point in the DR he says that he THINKS he can trust Shelly but there was dubiousness in his eyes. He should have followed that instinct and further added to that what a mean, catty, generally rotten person she has been to others in the house and figured out that she is the = to ED or Russell and gotten her behind outta there. He could have done it, but he got carried away with her "promises".

I don't think so; Porsche was starting to come to Jeff to cut a deal and he might have been able to work out taking her to the final 3. There was no question in my mind that Shelly was using the JJ's to get to the end and would turn on him in an instant. With Porsche he had more to work with - Porsche is not a mean, catty beotch, Shelly is and I think on one level Jeff saw that but didn't want to believe it could happen. He was not thinking in a calculating way as Shelly always does!!

Also, I think Jeff was afraid of doing what he did in BB11 and take out one of his allies that may turn on him prematurely instead of someone he is positive is against him.

Okay, time for the jury house.
Brendon by himself for a week. Looks like they get some more creature comforts - such as schoolwork for Brendon. He'd love to see Daniele walk through the door. He gets his wish.
Daniele thinks that Brendon is still a zombie - he's alive and she has to deal with him.
Daniele wants Jeff to walk through the door next. She's getting her wish. She also wants Adam to win. Not sure if that happens. We'll see more of the jury after the break.

Interesting to see Brendon so genuinely likeable in jury house. Reminds me of how he was last season after R was evicted and people really liked him. I don't know if B was so happy to see Dani and have R still in the game, but even last season there was a likeability factor to him w/o R.
It's like R = likeability; B = likeability; but Brenchal on BB = a train wreck. I would like to think that off BB they are a nice couple.
I think B was extremely kind to Dani (even making her fresh OJ) considering she evicted him twice!!!! And R has been fun and considerate of people's feelings.
One of the more interesting things about this season . . . .
