Super sad that grant got voted off. My speculation would be Rob or Ashley will be on the chopping block next (unless... someone answers my question below haha)

There are so many possibilities for the finale. If Andrea comes back from redemption island, the 3 girls are definitely gonna vote off Rob. However, if he uses his immunity idol, my guess is that phillip is next to go. Unless they plan to actually blindsight Ashley and vote Phillip off in the F4, leaving Rob, Andrea & Natalie in the F3.
I have a huge feeling that Rob & Grant/Natalie are gonna be in the F2 >.<
The question i have is.. if you have the immunity idol, when will be the last time you could play it? F5?

Jeff said one person will be returning. Base on the 4 RI inhabitants now, I believe Matt/Mike has the highest chance. Followed by Grant. Andrea will be the next jury member.
5th jury member - Andrea 6th & 7th jury member - Grant and Mike
Matt returns back to game.
Matt, Natalie, Ashley, Philip and Rob in F5.
Matt loses IC and voted out. 8th jury member
Natalie, Philip and Rob = F3, Ashley voted out, last jury member
Rob wins HANDS DOWN. For the first time ever. Yay.
And yes, this is how predictable I think it's going to get. I CERTAINLY HOPE I AM WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Philip=Crazy without the 'N' word,pissed the whole tribe Natalie=Rob been carrying her all this while.....Only Ashley will vote for her(Maybe Grant),The Jury will think that she does not play the game at all. Rob=Everyone hates him but he played a great game with a bit of luck.
If the jury wants to make Rob pissed,they will only vote for Natalie unless Philip presents a great and fabulous speech;Philip will not get any votes.

I think that Rob wins too. If we were to examine every possibility of these people going against him...
Phillip - He's pissed every single person off. He might claim to have a great speech at the end to take down Rob. But he's forgotten that actions speak louder than words. All the annoying actions he's done to the people around him, they're not gonna let that go based on a single speech.
Natalie - What's she even doing on Survivor? She's done absolutely NOTHING.
Ashley - Same as Natalie. She might have started making moves towards the end, but that's certainly not enough. She spoke of getting Rob out, why didn't she do it at the Final 5? She had the Immunity necklace, there was no way Rob could get her out, why not stir something up, plant seeds in the others' minds that they were not gonna win against Rob? If her plan failed, she'd be in trouble the next episode. Then again, she was already in trouble to begin with. Why not make the best of what she had?
Grant - Physical, check. Mental and strategic, no. The Final 5, IMO, was the best chance for Grant, Natalie and Ashley to band together to get rid of Rob. But yes, they're just too mesmerised with him to do so.
Andrea - Same as Grant, I would say.
Matt - He spent like, what, 5 days in the game and 30 days on RI or something? He's not gonna make much of an impression on the jury members. He didn't really get to play the game, he just survived on RI all the while.
I think the person who has SOME chance at beating Rob is Mike. He MIGHT get Zapatera's votes.
But to take everything into consideration, I don't see why Zapatera should hate Rob. He did not betray them, he just did what he had to do, which was keep his tribe together, make use of the numbers and vote the other tribe out. They should give him credit for that. And Ometepe doesn't hate Rob too, in fact I think they love him to death. So to think of it very rationally, I say Rob wins. Geez.

Don't forget that Matt has been on RI with every jury member...he will have had time to bond (or not) with them all.
He could have made an impression on them...they all have seen him compete strongly.

Can you imagine Russells reaction on the finale if that would happen. OMG too funny. Have to say, I'm actually rooting for Rob at this point. He has controlled everything so well he does deserve to win. I thought Probst's blog was interesting when he made a comment about those that deserve to win.

No... Heroes VS Villians relighted the whole Survivor theme dying from the same things again and again. I agree Russell helped to make it good and think he's definitely an Allstar Survivor player, but I just didn't want to see him play again and again and do those evil things. This season, he got out real quick and good.
"Seems Like a No Brainer" = Either voting out Rob or somebody back from RI, or bringing Natalie/Philip to F3. Whatever it is, if Rob goes F3. ROB WINS, HANDS DOWN.

I think there is a very high possibility that Rob makes the Final 3. He has the HII which he can use to bring him to the Final 4. And he's a HUGE threat at challenges. Of course we have to consider the return of Grant/Matt/Mike from RI to give him a run for his money at the final Immunity Challenge. But Rob has a pretty good chance at winning and advancing into the Final 3.
Yeah, I believe Rob could win hands down the moment he gets there. But if Mike's in the Final 3 with him, I think Mike wins. Unless the Zapatera jury members are completely impartial people.
The more I think about the entire season and how it's just Rob, Rob and Rob, I believe that this season should be changed to be Survivor: Rob's Island.

I agree, I think Mike is the biggest contender at this point. He has always placed first in his RI challenges, indicating that he can beat Matt. And I think there is a high possibility of him winning the IC and going to the F3. If he gets to the top three then he has already won because there is no possible way that a jury with Steve, Julie, Matt, and Ralph is going to let Rob win over Mike.

I say if it's at F4 and Grant or Andrea had come back in the game, they would be in this picture because I think Grant or Andrea would still hang with this group. I do not believe that Matt or Mike would.
But I am thinking we are looking at the F3... JMO

It's possible that the RI winner did win an IC with the numbers game, especially Matt as smart as he is. But Rob would still pretty much control who goes home... Ashley. In the maze/puzzle, if Phillip, Natalie or Rob win the outcome would be the same: RI winner= Toast. :lol:

Ashley could still be around, just that the three of them are strategising without her. Which, of course, essentially means that they wanna get rid of Ashley and that would be the Final 3 all the same.
I can't wait for the finale! Will this season really be Rob's story, or will an upset happen? I'm looking forward to find out!

Immunity Challenge: Race across a balance beam while collecting a series of bags with numbered tiles in them. They must put the tiles in order from 1-100.

I knew Philip, Natalie and Rob will be the F3 and Rob will win it all. Rob has played the game so well this season and if he doesn't win = the jury sucks.
Seriously, nobody deserves to win more than Rob. He does his strategies and backstabbing so flawlessly such that he puts Russell to big shame. Russell, best Survivor ever? Take a leaf out of Rob's book. Please.
At the F5, Andrea has much sense to take out Rob. But she doesn't have much sense to at least get the rest get out Philip first. I mean, a shot in the F4 is definitely better than going against Rob and being the immediate next boot. She should have told Ashley that Rob wants Philip in the F3 and not HER and that she's going to go if Rob wins the F3 immunity. She just didn't think about all the possibilities. Or maybe she did and we were not shown.

Okay, this reason will be remembered as Survivor: Redemption, with the theme revolving around Rob's 4th Redemption and finally winning and not the complete Redemption Island complete failure twist.
What a better way to remember this season for.

Yeah that I think is why I hate Russell so much. Its one thing to manipulate the other players but do you have to be such a dick when you do.
Still do this day I think I would much rather have a Yul/Ozzie season (what 13 was it) where yo have a planner (yet one who is about as honest as you can be on survivor) and one who just tries to perform each task and the day to day actual survivor aspects of the game to near perfection.

The thing about them bringing old Survivors back, is that they focus on them too much and then we don't see what's happening for the new Survivors.
For example, even though Nicaragua was boring.. i enjoyed NaOnka, Jane, Holly and a few other people. And i can even remember their name because their limelight has not been snatch from anyone.
But for this season, with the RI, we see less of challenges and we ended up seeing Matt taking part in a challenge every episode and ended up those who were voted off were either not memorable or boring. Look, we didn't even remember what Russell had done.
My take is, either they do a FULL ALLSTARS with a theme, for example, winners VS losers, ALL WINNERS survivor, ALL 2nd/3rd place losers survivor (Survivor: Unfinished Business, anyone? :lol:) or they do a COMPLETELY new Survivor with an EPIC location and a WHOLE NEW CAST. No more addition of old Survivors in an entire new cast. Lame. LAME!!!

Wow, wow. Firstly, I'm shocked that Andrea won the duel on RI! I honestly expected Matt or Mike to be the ones returning. When Matt went out, my heart totally shattered and I really thought that Mike would win it all. But I was SO happy that Andrea came forth to win it! Love the underdogs.
I thought that the Final 5 was the pivotal point in this game. We had 3 girls, and 2 guys. That was THE moment for the girls to make a big move. I really held hope that they would do something about that! I was utterly disappointed when they didn't. Yeah, Ashley and Natalie knew that Rob had the Idol. Couldn't they have voted for Phillip instead? And then when it got down to the Final 4, at least it'd be 3 girls against Rob. If they'd wanted to take out Rob, they'd have a chance. Rather than going to the Final 4, 2-on-2 where it would be so much riskier. I really think that Ashley and Natalie missed out on a big chance to make a big move. That is why I'm so disappointed in this season. No one EVER wanted to take out Rob. Seriously...
That Final 3 was the most boring I could ever see. We have Rob, up against Natalie and Phillip. This is THE no-brainer. Who on earth would vote for Natalie (who did nothing in this game), and Phillip (who was such a nutcase)? I'm surprised that Rob didn't make a clean sweep of the votes and that Phillip actually got a vote. But come on, Rob was winning the whole thing, it's that boring.
I have no complaints against Rob. He played the best game he ever did, and would be one of the most deserving winners EVER. I'm just disappointed in the rest of the castaways who handed him the million dollars on a plate. Those times they could have made moves... They didn't. Even Redemption Island was disappointing. I expected it to shake up the season a little more, but I feel that it almost did nothing to the season, except add in a spiritual element courtesy of Matt. The first time Matt re-entered the game, he got voted out immediately. When Andrea re-entered, she got voted out immediately. It's just... Redundant.
My heart isn't too pleased with Rob winning (cos he isn't a favourite). But my mind says that Rob is ABSOLUTELY deserving. He was such a HUGE target at the beginning, but he rose above that challenge. He made alliances with the right people, and had total control over them. I thought that he played a pretty clean game and those moments when he talked about his family just made me go awwww. I see a different side to him this time. I think 10 years and 4 times of playing Survivor has really grown him as a person. It's incredible, and it's beautiful. I feel that this entire season is Rob's story of redemption. And kudos to him, he did it. Survivor: Rob's Island, out.

I agree with you on Rob being placed on Ometepe as a MAJOR factor of him winning this game. Zapatera wouldn't be half as adoring of him as Ometepe. I too was waiting for a big move that never happened. So congrats to Rob for being on the perfect tribe and playing a perfect game.
