If you are watching anything but an EST US feed, it is your responsibility to be sure you are not ahead of us if you want to post in this thread. Canadian and Asian satellite feeds are often way ahead of us.

SO PLEASE ** NO WIKI UPDATES or Satellite Viewer updates** to be posted before the show is done airing East Coast time! Anyone breaking the rule is at risk of being banned.

Otherwise, come watch with us for the best weekly viewing party in town!! :party:

Live stream videos will be posted weekly if we can find them, links below. For those who are not on East Coast time, you can follow along and PLEASE help update as the show unfolds! We welcome everyone to join in the fun!! :wohoo:

THIS WEEK the USA just changed to Daylight Savings Time...so check your DVR's and if you are outside the US, be aware that the show will be starting at 8PM DST now... So look for it an hour earlier!

Loads of screaming (AND EATING) from Ronald.

And intense competition ALL the way to the pitstop.

My favourite task of the leg would of course be the Yak. It reminded me for a brief moment that TAR used to be letting racers stop for a brief moment and enjoy some exotic location or breathtaking view! :tup:

I liked it that they're doing it.. they got their wish for Mel and Mike.. since they destroyed Mel's legs in Australia... and we know another team's gonna fall victim of their evil plan next week.

And i think Kent and Vyxsin's performance are shocking me the most as of now. They never got worst than 5th place in Season 12 and this season, they haven't got better than 7th place after 4 legs?!

I also like the fact that Margie and Luke finally didn't get screwed by FLIGHTS (TWICE) and finally came in first, before teams like Jet and Cord too!

Another very amazing performance comes from Gary and Mallory... they seemed to be like the David and Mary.. only picked cause they're kinda popular and from a very recent season. I honestly thought they would suck and eat up by other competition when i first heard they were spoiled to be racing on the race. After 4 legs... they have come in Top 3 on 4 of the legs?! Something you wouldn't expect from a parent-child team! Very shocking performance! :tup:

The double uturn is kinder than the regular one imo. It gives teams a chance to beat the other one.

I know.. i just didn't think they would actually do it. I was keeping hope alive by actually believing that the 30 minutes penalty that Kent and Vyxsin will be getting on the next leg is a NEL penalty.

But turns out that it's actually maybe their flight penalty that they will be getting. It just didn't occur to me that the evil producers will do two TBC. :groan:

I think the spoilers from the 5th leg shows Kent and Vyxsin checking in next leg but receiving a 30 minute penalty. I believe that should be their "flight penalty". They didn't take the official flight that they're assigned.

No. It would only be a penalty if Zev had taken it to prevent her from finding it. He had an honest mistake. The Globetrotters situation lest leg was a different thing entirely. I do have to say that as much as I loved the episode, I felt bad for both Zev & Justin and Kent & Vyxsin. Both just had a tough break mentally and just couldn't catch up.

Yes, and for example last season.. Phil did mention that teams have been assigned flights, but if they're able to find earlier flights, they can go ahead and book tickets. This season, this seemed to be the ONLY flight that teams should take, maybe all the other flights are hours ahead or behind, that is why the producers wants to "play it safe" and make sure all the teams arrive safely in China without any issues.. if not the race wouldn't be exciting if a few teams lag behind?

Not for this season though. I think this is a TBC leg and there will be no Marked for elimination and whatsoever. Imagine the goths getting it and cowboys not getting it despite being last on the first leg on a similar leg like this?!

Precisely.. imagine they got a penalty meant for this leg to be penalized next leg... i think the "conventional pitstop" truly screws things up. :groan:

But maybe because the clue says keep racing, that is why they can't give the penalty immediately?

It sounds much more like a Marked for elimination penalty which would hit at the next Pit Stop.

What season was it (I think 9) where teams took the wrong route, but the route actually took them longer, ie no time gained. This was when they still did the 30 minute penalty +/- time gained or lost.

Was that the damn Greece leg again, that both Lake & Michelle and BJ & Tyler drove for hours int eh wrong direction. One team got booted the other went on to win the damn race.

Thats the type of behavior I love seeing from them. I hated season 15 after the were seriously taunting Mika (who was already mess), it wasn't needed and showed incredibly poor sportsmanship.

But Ron and Christina DID NOT take the marked bus......then they stopped and got on one in the middle......they should have gone back to get the bus, where they got on the electric tram......They did get an advantage. Still, the rules are the rules. Remember when Toni & Dallas lost their passports? They walked instead of taking a taxi (slower option) but they were told to go back and take a taxi.

It sounds much more like a Marked for elimination penalty which would hit at the next Pit Stop.

What season was it (I think 9) where teams took the wrong route, but the route actually took them longer, ie no time gained. This was when they still did the 30 minute penalty +/- time gained or lost.

Was that the damn Greece leg again, that both Lake & Michelle and BJ & Tyler drove for hours int eh wrong direction. One team got booted the other went on to win the damn race.

In Greece half the teams got of the train a station before the designated one and then took a bus to get to the Isthmus for the bangie jumping. They didn't gain anything in time, in fact I think they lost a little, but they got a 30min penalty for not following the instructions. So if the production follows that pattern Ron and kristina could get a penalty.
